Chapter 10: Regrouping Heroes

Drake along with Lena, Gosalyn and Fenton managed to find space in the destroyed St. Canard Foundation site. Fenton knew he couldn’t use any of his weapons against SCP-682 or otherwise the Hard to Destroy Reptile would just adapt to his weapons.

“There has to be a way we can defeat that fiendish reptile,” said Fenton.

“We just have to outsmart him” said Lena, “I know how to use my shadow powers to create clones. Perhaps that would be of some use.”

“Yes, that’s an excellent idea” said Drake, “come on, let’s get dangerous!”

Drake’s rallying cry led the heroes further through the destruction of the destroyed Foundation site. Ricky Raven; all the while did his best to hid under his desk. He couldn’t believe how much damage Gizmo Duck had caused. Reinforcement soldiers were arriving shortly to St. Canard. Meanwhile, in downtown St. Canard, SCP-682 wanted to try to do a simple task like robbing a bank.

“I think we should try something simple” laughed SCP-682.

SCP-682 soon strolled into the bank with members of the Chaos Insurgency. Kabir felt no need to rob a bank, but since it was SCP-682’s idea he had no choice but to go along with it. The Chaos Insurgents pointed their rifles at the tellers and customers alike.

“On the ground, all of you!” bellowed SCP-682.

There was more hesitation on Louie’s end, and Kenny felt Louie was feeling some guilt with the mission he was assigned.

“Are we feeling alright Louie?” asked Kenny, “You have been rather quiet.”

“Just me being nervous,” said Louie.

The tellers at the front counter of the bank did their best to comply with SCP-682’s demands – literally giving him everything the bank had.

“Here’s more for your troubles” said SCP-682 as he handed Wilma the bag of money.

It was a way for SCP-682 of saying thank you to the Chaos Insurgency – meanwhile a few paces ahead, Drake and the others finally arrived at the bank.

“Looks like this is a job for Darkwing Duck!” bellowed Drake.

Drake soon threw a smoke grenade causing more smoke to form around the bank. Soon Drake himself appeared in his signature Darkwing Duck outfit.

“I am the terror that flaps in the night, I am the order to your chaos, I am Darkwing Duck!” bellowed Drake.

Drake’s dramatic entrance soon frightens a few Chaos Insurgent soldiers who fell back. The coyote and wolf soldiers did their best trying not to fear Drake.

“Leave him to me,” said Kenny.

Kenny moved in, preparing to face off with Drake. The anthropomorphic crane with his knowledge of various martial arts began to fight Drake with hand-to-hand combat.

“Not bad” said Kenny as Drake was able to keep up.

“I have been trained by the best from HUSH!” bellowed Drake.

Kenny did his best trying to keep up with Drake’s skills. Even Louie couldn’t help but to feel entertained by this fight. SCP-682 saw his chance and soon headed out with Wilma and Kibar.

“We’re just going to leave him?” asked Kibar.

“He can handle himself” said SCP-682.

The Hard to Destroy Reptile was right; Kenny could handle himself. But not when facing another threat such as Gizmo Duck.

“Fear not Darkwing, I shall assist you!” cried Fenton in his heroic voice.

Fenton soon pressed a few buttons on his suit and soon fired a metal net trapping Kenny. Louie felt it was safe for him to stay with the others since SCP-682 was gone for the moment.
