Chapter 13

NICK POV

Its been 2 weeks since we did it , 2 weeks since we feel more connected and today Papa and Dad were coming back home. We miss them and the house seems empty. *pout*

Simon and I were laying on the bed while his phone vibrates.

He sees whatever it was which seems like its a message and He gets up and starts getting ready.

"Where are you going baby?" He hands me his phone.

'Simon we arrived just now but I need your help in something can you meet me at the mall's gate?

- PAPA'

"Thats not Papa's number." I hand him the phone.

"Maybe he ran out of battery. Don't worry I'll be back with Papa and Dad." he kissed me and walked out I was still wondering why Papa and Dad arrived early. Maybe its a surprise since he called Simon and not us.

After an hour or two I went in living room Justin and Luke were busy in conversation.

"Where is Finn?"

"Was shitting." He jumped on his boyfriend's lap. I Stick my tongue out to him.

"Where is Simon?"

"Went to meet Papa." Luke looked at me.

"But the flight landing at night.

"Well apparently they're early and he texted Simon." We all were talking and its been 4 hours since Simon went to meet Papa I was at the edge of losing it but I was trying to calm I miss my baby.

After another 4 hours we heard car honk and we ran out Papa literally jumped out and hugged us one by one and then Dad hugged us after greeting they all entered.

I stood out looking for Simon.

Where is Simon? I looked left right NOTHING.

"Hey Pa." I walked in.

"Nick baby where is Simon I miss my boy." I looked at Papa thinking he is messing with me then I looked at the boys.

"Papa come on tell me where is he ? I miss him more than you." Dad looked at me.

"What do you mean ?"

"Papa messaged Simon asking him to meet him at the mall and told you guys landed early."

"Now why would I do that? we just arrived and you think I have energy for mall."

"Papa please."

"Son we didn't text anyone and we arrived an hour or so ago." I tried to process.

"Where is Simon?" 6 voices said at the same time.

First thing I did was call him and it went straight to voicemail after trying many times I drove to police station and I went to report and they told me to try after 24 hours like WTF?

We called everyone who knew Simon and no one knows where is he. I was getting mad I was losing it. I wish I remembered the number he was texted from. I wish I didn't let him go alone.

Dad called Uncle Derek since he knows someone who can trace the number but we got no clue.

In an hour Dad , Papa , Finn , Justin , Luke , Ian , Daniel along with their fathers were sitting in living room.

"Calm down." I pushed Daniel's hand away.

"Calm down? How ? when its almost 12 hours and I don't know where is he or hows he." I yelled.

The door bell rang and I ran so fast thinking its Simon , my Simon but it was a man he looked like Dad and Papa's age.

He said he is a cop so I invited him in.

"Hey Nathan hey Kai , Aiden , Nolan." he also shook hands with Dad and Uncle Derek.

"Hey Pete." Papa replied.

"Who are you?" I asked just was curious.

"I'm Pete I studied with Nathan and the guys in college." I nodded my head.

"Oh THE PETE who had crush on Papa." Everyone looked at Finn he chuckled and Papa awkwardly turned his head , Pete's face was red and Dad well he was few seconds away in kicking Pete out.

"Well I umm ya." He chuckled awkwardly then he cleared his throat. " well I was on duty when Nick right?" I nodded my head.

"When Nick came filing a missing person and the rules says we can't do anything before 24 hours and I got to know he's Nathan's son and I knew who Nathan was so here I am. I took the information Nick gave and I even traced the missing person's nu-"

"Simon , his name." I said coldly.

"Um ya Simon's number and his phone was switched off near the mall and I did go there and luckily there is a cctv camera and I did see something well I have it in my USB."

Finn ran and bought his laptop and we played it was Simon waiting at the gate and looks like he checked his phone and searched for something then walked near a car that stopped in front of him and it was clear who ever it was made Simon shocked because as the car door opened he moved back but someone held his wrist and pulled him in and drove away.

"What did just happen? Was he kidnapped ?" I looked at Pete.

"Looks like it and I did sent the plate number for search an-" his phone rang.

"Excuse me." He went out to pick the call.

"P-papa." I felt like crying Papa came and held me in his arms.

"Shh baby we will find him." I cried and tightened my grip on Papa.

It stressed everyone out and in mean time Pete came in.

"It was the search team and they did find the car but." I stood front of him.

"But what?" He sighed

"There was blood stains on the back seat." I fell on my knees Papa came and held me along with Luke and Finn.

"Pete please find him."

"Don't worry Felix we will and give me your number in case we find something and Nick take my card call me if you get anything." I wiped my tears and took the card.

"Please f-find him." I plead.

"Will do my best." He patted my head and left.

Why can't we be happy? Why every problem comes back to back?

Baby where are you?

Papa helped me stand and sit on couch. Everyone was talking yet I felt I was alone. Luke moved closer and took me in his arm I just laid my head on his shoulder. I blocked all the voices and my mind was with my baby.

After an hour Dad's phone rang and it alerted everyone especially me.

"Hello." Dad listened to whoever it was.

"Ya hey."

"What? Really?"

"And?" I was being impatient and the one sided phone call was getting on my nerves. After a long pause.

"And that could be?"

"Hmm ok let me know soon bye." He hung up.

"Dad?" He looked into my eyes.

"Well they found the car somewhere in the woods and there was Simon's phone under the seats and they got the number he was texted from and traced it but its only matter of time till who ever switch on their phone. That could be anytime but with that they also found a finger print and they are looking for it."

"So thats it? What if this person never switch on their phone ? So thats it ?"

"Nick just don't give up." I looked at Uncle Derek. I stood up and walked.

"Where are you going Nick?" Without turning around I responded.

"To search for him myself." After getting in a car.

"Where to start from."

"What are you guys doing." I looked at my friends.

"Well 12 hands are better than two." I smile and started the car.

We did search every where we even had his Photo and asked if people have seen him somewhere but nothing was found.

"Nick its been 5 hours lets just go home and try later." It was 6 AM and honestly I was scared of falling asleep while driving so we went home and every one of us fell on each couch in living room.

"Kids wake up and eat something." I opened my eyes yet still all were sleeping I heard Papa and Uncle Kai's voice in kitchen so I walked in.

"Wake them also and come eat somthing."

"Whats the time?"

"4 PM"

"Papa why didn't you wake me earlier." I was about to turn Uncle Kai held my wrist.

"Nick there is no use in going and searching by yourself let the searching team do it." I shook my head.

"Uncle kai its been a day I don't even know if he had anything or not if he's fine or not I can't sit and do nothing."

"Your Dad , Derek and Nolan went to the police station just wait till they are back."

"Ok." After Dad comes along with Uncle Derek and Uncle Nolan they told us there is no news yet.

I was slowly losing and just in time bell rang and Ian ran and opened the door and he walked back in along with Pete as Pete was about to talk there was another bell and Ian went to check again.

"Nick its for you." I went , it was a delivery boy I signed and there was a box so I took it in.

"Whats that son?"

"I don't know Dad I haven't ordered anything." I sat on couch and removed the ribbon and as I opened the box my heart went silent completely stopped and I screamed as loud as I can and cried.

Everything was happening so fast and in matter of second I was surrounded by my family.

I heard sobbing I don't know whose. All I did was cry.

The box had Simon's clothes with blood. I remember Pete told Dad something before I passed out.
