Inspiration

The story of Begusarai is heavily inspired by a case I read in the newspaper years ago about an honor killing.

Living in a society where caste-based discrimination persists, even in subtle ways, made me question just how far we, as the society have truly evolved.

Unfortunately, this evolution seems to have taken us backward rather than forward.

Years later, I took inspiration from that tragedy and wrote this story with the hope of providing a better ending for all those souls whose love remained pure and naive like a child's, yet strong as armor and forever wild.
