Everyone was astonished seeing her bravery. Harika filed a complaint against the seniors who crossed their limits in the name of ragging. Everyone supported her and the management suspended the girls for next three months. Varsha appreciated her for her brave act. Days passed peacefully after that. Their results were out and as expected Harika topped all the subjects. Her mom used to call her everyday and she was happy hearing about her progress in studies."Harika! Why don't you come here for vacation?" Her mom asked. "No mom, I don't have a long leave and I need to practice in this holidays. It would be better if you come here. It's been a long time right mom, why don't you come here?" She asked eagerly."No dear, now I can't come there leaving my responsibilities. I promise you, I will visit there once you complete your graduation" she replied. "Ok mom! Even Ruby aunty wishes to see you" she added. "Ok dear. Don't worry, next year I'll be there" she replied with assurance. Harika felt happy hearing her reply.That was her final year. She became more mature in those three years. She dedicated her entire time in her studies and practical. She planned to complete her master degree and treat the poor people. She had many dreams about her future. She wished to dedicate her life for the social activities."Hey Harika! We are going for a madical camp this weekend, just now I got a mail from our Deen" Varsha exclaimed. "Really! I'm very much excited about that Varsha. Everytime I wishes to serve the poor and needy" Harika replied. Varsha smiled and both packed their belongings.The day came and they left for the nearby village to treat the poor people. Harika dedicated herself to serve the needy. She helped them wholeheartedly. They stayed there for a week and that was their last day."Harika have you packed your luggage?" Varsha asked with a smile. "Yeah! But I don't want to leave this place so early" Harika replied sadly. "Ok don't worry! once after completing your studies, you start your own hospital hear and serve these people" Varsha said. "Of course I'll do that and that was my long time dream" Harika replied and resumed her work."Varsha! Latha was searching you" one of her friends informed and Varsha rushed out to meet her. "Harika! I heard someone is in emergency. Could you help them?" Her senior asked her and Harika was confused. "What emergency? Whom should I help?" Harika replied with same annoyance."Yesterday you treated a child right? Now she's not well and she need immediate treatment" she said and that turned Harika more anxious. "I'll go there immediately" she replied and rushed out with her medicinal kit. The girl had a evil smirk on her face.She called someone and informed that she implemented her plan successfully. Harika walked for a long distance but she couldn't find anyone in that place. That was a village located in the middle of a forest and their camp was little far from the village. After some point of time, Harika turned nervous. Everywhere she turned, she found darkness which scared her to the core. She felt her breathing was uneven too because of the heavy mist. She couldn't find anything and she stood there freezed not having any idea to move from that place.She shivered in cold and weird sounds from the forest made her more nervous. with a sense of foreboding she took her next step and got hit by the tree, her hands started shivering, she chanted some prayers and closed her eyes tightly when she heard a loud noise of an animal and she was not sure whether it's an animal or any other weird creature in that forest.When she was in deep thought, a strong arm touched her shoulder which made her jump in fear. "Who's that?" She asked with a shaking voice."Relax! I'm a human too" she heard a well-modulated manly voice. He switched on his mobile flash, she raised her eyes and her eyes captured his chiselled face. His deep brown eyes bored into her black one. "It's not safe to stay here for a long time. Come let's go from this place" Harish said looking into her face. Harika gazed his face doubtfully. Harish understood her mind. "Look mis! I saw you walking alone, so I came here to help you. I don't have any other intension and this path is very dangerous" he said.Harika nodded and walked with him without having any other options left. She thought it's better to be with someone rather getting attacked by the animals.They both walked in a deep silence. After sometime, they reached a place where he had his tent. "I came here for trekking! When I came for a walk, I saw you walking alone. I identified with your mobile flash light but later I found that you was in the wrong path, so I thought to help you" he explained. Harika listened him silently."Actually! I'm a medical student and I stayed in the nearby village with my team. I heard my patient is not well, so I came to help her. Unfortunately, I lost my way and my mobile phone was switched off because of low battery" Harika elucidated her state."Ok relax! Now it's not a good idea to return back to the village and it's already dark. So if you don't mind, you can stay here and morning I'll drop you in the village" Harish asked with a smile, Harika was not in the state to deny his offer, she just nodded as acceptance."Have you had your dinner?" He asked with concern. "Yeah!" Harika replied with a smile but he guessed she is hungry."But I haven't yet! If you don't mind will you join me for dinner. Just for my happiness" he asked like a request with a sweet gesture which she couldn't deny. She accepted and had her dinner with him. He served her the dinner."It was really nice" Harika said what she felt. "Thank you!" Harish smiled. "Why are you alone here? Don't you have friends? Usually people go trekking with their friends gang but you came here alone. It's really astonish!" Harika asked eagerly. He smiled as a response."I don't have more friends and because of my career I was over stressed. So I decided to take a break. I came here alone to explore the beautiful nature" he replied with amusement."It's nice!" Harika smiled as a response. "Ok! Tell me about yourself! What's your name?" He asked hoping that she will respond."Sorry! I forgot! I'm Harika, final year medical student. I'm doing my MBBS in Madras Medical College, native US. Came here to fulfill my dream" Harika gave a brief introduction about herself."Nice! You're from US and pursuing your degree in India. Usually I saw many people will choose Amarica for their higher education but you did that vice versa" he smiled. "Yeah! This is my mom's birth place and she said several things about her mother land. So I had this intrest from my childhood. Education is very good here. I'm really blessed to be in a sweet place like India. I missed several things which I experienced here" Harika replied what she thought."It's really pleasure to hear this. I wish your dreams come true" he wished her with a smile. "What about you?" Harika asked, "I'm Harish! RV Groups Managing Director" he replied making her stunned."RV Groups Managing Director!?" She asked without belief. "Yes!" He replied sadly. "But you looks so simple?" Still she couldn't believe it."I love to live this simple life but my fate forced me to do the work which I was not interested. My mom is my world, so I accepted the position just not to disappoint her."You're really amazing! I never thought you will be so simple like this" Harika was astounded. "I Love to live in this small tent, exploring the nature, facing some adventure, inhaling this fresh air instead of my big bunglow, office, AC room and computers" his voice was low."Shall I say you something! I wonder how many people don't get the one they want, but end up with the one they're supposed to be with! Every event of your life has some meaning. There is a reason for everything happened in your life. I'll never ask you to accept the life which you hate but I'll advise you to forget the rest and enjoy your present. Stop thinking about the things which destroy your peace and start living the life you really longed for.You're staying here but still your heart is wandering around your past, your office, home and your responsibilities. Just forget everything else and enjoy the moment you got now" Harika replied with a amusing smile which gave a new refreshment to his mind. He nodded with a bright smile."It's already late! You can sleep inside. I'll stay here" he said, Harika nodded and she dropped off once she was inside the tent as she was very tired.Harika's word echoed in his mind and he thought what she said was true. He is trying to escape from his stress but he is not ready to give up those thoughts which is destroying his peace. But now he strongly decided to forget everything and live his life as happy as he wants atleast for next few days.He closed his eyes with happiness and eagerness to welcome the happy morning of his life.
