"Harish!" He whispered in surprise. Harini and Harika reached the entrance once they heard his name. They three were surprised to see him there."Where were you Harish? You left us scared all these days" Harini said with a concern."Aunty, as I said I visited India to spy Adhi. But to my shock Adhi was not there. I tried to find out his next move with the help of detectives. As per their advice I switched off my mobile. Yesterday, I came to know that Karthik haven't visited India and another shocking news is.. " he paused for a while."What happened Harish? Anything serious?" Karthik asked with horror."Yes uncle, Ruby aunty was killed by someone" he said making them thunderstruck."What? Ruby!" Harini fall on the ground crying. Harika hugged her and consoled her by patting her shoulder."Uncle, I'm damn sure, Adhi is the culprit. He is the one who helped those murderers. He is a psycho who killed his own mother. We shouldn't wait further uncle. Let's take action on this immediately" he said with determination.Karthik asked him to come inside; he said everything that happened in the previous day. Harish was shocked hearing that. "He is a ruthless animal uncle. Let's not leave him" by saying this, Harish collected the evidences from Karthik."I'll file a compliant against him. "Hari.." she didn't let him complete as she hugged him pouring her sorrows.He caressed her hair and let her cry. She stayed in the same position for some time and released from his hold. "I don't want you to go alone, please take me with you" she requested."No Harika! I can't risk your life at any cost. You stay safe with your dad. He will take care of you. I'll handle this situation" he said with determination."No Harish, I can't stay here sending you alone. I saw his real face, he is not a human. I don't want you to go alone. You might have pretended that you love me but my love is true from my heart" she begged."Harika! Be careful..." He pushed her awayHarika stood there numb. She couldn't believe her eyes. They both stood at the corner of the road near her house, a van came with full force and it was about to hit Harika.But within a fraction of second, Harish pushed her away and he was hit by the van. Harika ran towards him and found him in pool of blood. Her vision became blurred and next second she laid unconscious on the floor.Karthik rushed outside and was taken aback seeing Harish unconscious on the ground. He immediately took him to the hospital along with Harini.They three reached the hospital in next half an hour. "Karthik! Where is Harika?" Harini asked with horror. Karthik was also thinking about that. He noticed Harika walking outside but she was not there with Harish when he reached that spot."Relax Harini, she must be there in our house" he tried to console her but she knows that Harika was not there in their home. She cried helplessly. Karthik consoled her and filled a compliant against Adhi.They two waited in the hospital. "Doctor, how is Harish?" Karthik asked once the doctor came outside the ICU."He is alright now" doctor's word made him breath in relief. He came towards Harini."Harini, stay here with Harish. Don't go outside of this hospital for any reason" he instructed."Where are you going Karthik?" She asked worriedly. "I'll return with our daughter" he said with determination."Karthik, please bring our daughter home soon. She is my world" Harini cried hugging him. He consoled her and left the hospital in search of Harika.First he reached the haunted house where he tied Adhi that morning but Adhi was not there in that place and there was no trace of human.He tried to figure out the place as soon as possible, he sat there and started thinking about the place where he could hide Harika.Harish opened his eyes after an hour. Doctor checked his pulse and allowed Harini to see him."Aunty, where is Harika?" that was the first thing he asked once he opened his eyes.She cried and that increased his fear. "Aunty, is she fine?" He asked with fear.Harini said everything that happened. Harish was completely shocked listening her words."Aunty, I want to save her. Please ask the doctors to discharge me" he pleaded."No Harish, you're not supposed to leave this place. You can't walk as your legs were severely injured. Karthik went in search of her, he will take care. You please don't stress yourself" she advised but Harish couldn't stay like that.He called his friend who helped him in that investigation and asked him to help Karthik. He also submitted all the proofs he collected to the police as well as the hospital organization.The hospital management was shocked seeing the proofs submitted by them. They never thought that one of their doctors will turn as a moron to kill the people for his wellfare.They immediately dismissed him from their organisation and agreed to pay the penalty whatever the court asks them to do.The court took that case as the first prioritised case and started investigating about that.Patients who were under the shock treatment were rescued and alternative treatment was given immediately to save their lives.Cops and Harish's men were in search of the culprits but they don't have any clue about their residence.Harini said about the place where they visited that morning. Harish informed about the place to his friends and cops.They reached the place in next half an hour and they found Karthik unconscious in that place. They suspected something abnormal in that place. They keenly searched for evidence but they didn't find any.They admitted Karthik in the hospital and that made both Harini and Harish devastated. Harini couldn't handle all those stress at a time. Harish consoled her.Doctors checked Karthik and said that he was forcefully poisoned with Hydrogen sulfide which will damage one's brain function.They both were shocked. "Doctor, just few days ago he was recovered from a major problem. Will this cause any major issues in his mental health?" Harini asked nervously."Thankfully nothing like that happened. The cops have rescued him before the gas affect his inner parts. We are treating him for this. He will recover soon. Don't worry!" Doctor said making her relieved.Harish worried about Harika. "Nothing should happen to her!" His heart chanted continuously.But a news telecasted on the television completely shattered them into pieces.
