Harika's face was pale. How could she describe the thing which she saw with her very own eyes? Blood drained from her face and he turned still. Still she couldn't believe that Varsha is no more. Previous night they both were together and she still remember her smiling face when she left her room."Why did she left me so early?" She thought and her eyes welled up with tears. Police handed over her body by end of the day. Harika couldn't control her tears. Moreover she doesn't have anyone near her to share her grief. She informed Adhi and Varsha's parents about the incident. They planned to send her body to India the next day.Adhi reached the place around 8 and his blood drained face indicated his breakdown. Harika understood his pain. She informed Harini about this and she too reached the place. Harika hugged Harini tightly once she saw her. All her grief outbursts in the form of tears."Relax dear. Calm down" She consoled her by patting her back. She noticed Adhi, his face was pale and she understood his state. It's really hard to accept the fact that our loved ones is no more in our life. She held his hand and asked him to be strong.They completed the formalities and was ready to take her body to her hometown. Harika cried vigorously once they took Varsha's body outside her room. She fall on the ground crying very bad. Harini kept her in her embrace.Harini noticed someone and she felt she know the person very well. Something in her urged her to see the person's face. She left Harika and rushed outside to see the person. Her eyes widened in shock seeing Harish there. "What is he doing here?" she thought. She couldn't understand the reason for his presence there. She also noticed that he is trying to hide his face as no one should notice him, "but why?" she thought. "If he visited her for Varsha's condolence then why he seems nervous and why he is trying to hide his face?" Harini's eyebrows knotted. Next moment when she looked at the place, he was not there. Harini was more confused. "Did I see him here? Or it's just my imagination? But I'm sure it was him!" Harini was confused as hell. "Aunty, Harika fainted. Please come" Harika's colleague said in hurry which diverted her thought. She rushed inside to see Harika. She sprinkled water on her face and patted her cheeks to make her awake. Harika opened her eyes after few minutes. She realized that  they took Varsha to the airport."Mom, we should also go to India. Please mom" she cried."We can't dear. Police suspect that it could be a murder and they don't want few of you to leave this city. There is an investigation" she said which broke her heart."This should be a murder mom. I was with her last night. She smiled wholeheartedly while sending me back. I couldn't see it as a suicide. I will not leave the person who is responsible for her death" Harika said with determination."Cool down Harika. Police will investigate about that and they will arrest the culprit soon" Harini said holding her hand. Few hours later, Police asked Harika to visit the police precinct to investigate her as she was the last person who met Varsha. She entered the office and they started their investigation. She answered honestly whatever she knew, they too understood her statements were honest and she doesn't seems to be the suspect. The case turned more complicated day by day.They checked the CCTV footages but they didn't get any clue. The physicians produced the post-mortem report and that states she was died because of the cut in her wrist. Her ulnar vein got damaged because of the slash. People who try to commit suicide will not exactly cut their ulnar vein but at the same time she is a doctor so there are some possibilities for suicide too.Harika left the place after two hours of investigation. She felt dizzy because of tiredness. Harini held her arms and took her back to their home. She compelled her to have some fresh juice and Harika did it because she doesn't have any strength to stand. She fall asleep because of the dizziness. Harini left Karthik alone in their home, he turned normal in those days but she couldn't stay relaxed leaving him alone there. She called him and he attend the call in very first ring. "Is everything ok Harini?" He asked with a concern. "Just now we reached our home Karthik. Harika is very depressed. You are safe there right?" she asked with concern."Yes! You do one thing, bring Harika here. Let her be in this peaceful place. This will make her relaxed and this change will have a good impact on her recovery" he said making her smile. "Yes Karthik, I'm thinking the same. I'll bring her there today evening" she said and they talked for few more minutes.Harika waked up around four in the evening. Harini did all the arrangements for their dispersal. She also took permission from the cops. "Harika, freshen up and get ready. We are going to our home" she said and Harika looked her confusingly."I said we are leaving to the place where me and your dad live" she said and Harika smiled hearing it as she was very eager to meet her dad. "But mom, what about the investigation?" she asked. "I informed cops about this and they asked me to take you there. I gave all our three phone numbers and address. They will contact either of us if they need any clarification. So  don't think about those things. Get ready" She assured making her relaxed.  They both reached their home in the evening. Karthik welcomed her with a smiling face which surprised her more. Harika hugged him tight once she saw him, everything that's happened that day just melts away from her heart and she felt it's light. It was her long term wish to be in her dad's embrace. "Dad!" she gushed emotionally making his eyes wet. Harini's eyes were also moistered seeing them both together like that. Karthik extended his arm and hugged Harini in his other arm. The family seems more beautiful than anything else in the world."Don't worry dear. Your mom and dad will be there for you to console you whenever you feel down. Cry hard, pour all your depression out and don't depress yourself. The hidden pain is more dangerous than a harmful poison " Karthik said caressing her back making her cry. She cried in his arm. She never felt that protection in any other male arms. For every girl, her Dad will be the most loving and caring soul in this entire world.They three had some good time together. Both Harini and Karthik fed her dinner. Harika had that with satisfaction. "Sleep well dear. Don't confuse yourself by overthinking" Harini advised before she went for bed.Harika nodded her head in acceptance. She rested on the bed but sleep was far away. She couldn't stop thinking about Varsha. She recalled her words from the start."Harika, I am feeling like something is fishy here" Varsha said while meeting her in her room. "What's wrong Varsha? I didn't get you" Harika asked in a confused tone."I'm not sure. But something is wrong with our institution" Varsha confessed making her shocked. "Varsha, I think you're having some misunderstanding. Don't think much. Nothing like that, take some rest. I think because of your continues duty you got much stressed. That's why you're thinking like this" Harika uttered in a soft tone."Maybe Harika. Let me take some rest. I'll meet you in the morning" she replied and headed into her bedroom. Harika too left her home after sending her to the bed."Something is really fishy here. It should be a pre planned murder. I will not leave the person.
