"I couldn't see him in this condition Harika. It's heartbreaking" Harini uttered with tears. "Mom, it's a treatment and he has to go through this. We want him back as a normal person mom. Please be strong" Harika adviced holding her hand.They left India two weeks ago and Harika took great care of her parents. She consulted one of the best psychiatrist to treat Karthik and admitted him in their hospital."Harini! Harini" his screams made her nervous. She immediately left Harika's hand and rushed inside the room. She found several medical instruments were fixed to his body and he was shaking in fear. That scene broke her heart."Stop it!" Doctors inside the room gave her a weird look. "I don't want you to treat my husband. Let me take care of him" she said looking into their faces."Mom! They are treating him, why are you so emotional?" Harika questioned her holding her hand."No Harika, I don't to see him in pain anymore. I'll take care of him and I'll make him normal soon. Please ask them to discharge him immediately. He has already gone through several pain in his life. I'll not allow anyone to hurt him again. Ask them to discharge him now! It's final" Harini ordered in intimidated voice making her eyes widen.She apologized the medical team and requested them to discharge him. They too did so.Everyone left that room and Harini walked towards him with tears. "Harini!" He murmured in low voice with his eyes closed.She reached him and sat beside him caressing his hair. Her proximity brought relief in his mind. She softly caressed and kissed his forehead. "I'll never allow anyone to hurt you Karthik. I'll save your life soon" she uttered hugging him. Harika reached the place after few minutes. "Mom, why did you behaved that way? What was wrong with you?" Harika asked with consern."What's wrong with you Harika? Why are you rushing things? Why did you accepted for shock treatment? I didn't expect this from you" Harini replied with disappointment."Mom, shock treatment is very common nowadays. That will cure my dad completely. I want to see you both happy again, that's the only reason" Harika replied from her heart."No Harika, things can't happen so suddenly. It will take some time, you have to wait. Patience is very important in anything we do. You should understand this, only then you will find the true happiness" she replied. Harika just stared at her face."I'll take him to a place. I'm promissing you, he will get cured in few months. Until that you stay in our home. I'll take complete care of him" Harini said making her shocked."No mom, you shouldn't stay alone with him. It's not safe for both of you. He might be arrogant sometimes. You should be prepared with some precautions. Wherever you go, I too will join you" Harika replied strongly."Don't worry about us Harika. I'll fix everything and I am sure, he will not hurt me even in his unconscious state. Believe me Harika" she said holding her hand.Harika couldn't come for a decision. She was very concerned about their well-being but at the same time she wants to see them happy. After thinking for a long time, she came for a decision."Ok mom, I trust you but make sure to call me if you need any help and at the same time never visit India. I don't want you both to go back to that place again" she requested and Harini accepted that with a smile.Harini gazed his face which looked very tired. She couldn't control her tears. "I'm the sole reason for your condition Karthik. I should have told you about your mom's threats but I failed. I failed to save our relationship. I failed to save you" she cried and that brought a small movement in his eyes.He slowly opened his eyes and it caught her face. He found her crying which hurt his soul. He touched her hand, she raised her face and felt happy seeing him."Karthik!" She muttered with tears. "Why are you crying Harini?" He asked wiping her tears in a sad tone. "I missed you" she replied with tears."I missed you too Harini. Why did you left me alone? I don't like this place. Let's go home" he said like a kid which increased her tears."I'm sorry Karthik. From now, I will not leave you alone even for a single minute" she replied caressing his hair."Don't cry baby. I know that you will not leave me. First let's go out from this place" he said patting her cheeks which brought a smile on her face.That evening they both reached their home. Harini packed their belongings and got ready for the journey. She strongly decided to spend her days with him.She already bought a villa which she thought to spend her time alone once after Harika's marriage but everything changed and she is going to stay with her Karthik as they both wished.Harika send them off with a heavy heart. She truly doesn't want to stay away from her parents but at the same time she doesn't want to go against her mom's words.Harini kissed her forehead and bid her bye before she left their home. "I'll miss you mom" she said hugging her. "I'll miss you too Harini. But keep in mind that this is the time to build your career. Forget everything which is eating your mind and concentrate on your career. I'm sure, you will be successful in your life" she said holding her face."Sure mom! I'll take care of that. I promise you that one day I'll make you proud of me. I know that you will take a great care of dad but at the same time take care of yourself" she replied with care which brought a smile on her face."Sure dear! Bye" they both left the home. First time Harika felt loneliness in her house. She used to be alone in the past but she never felt that loneliness. "Everything changed!" She thought and to overcome that she decided to do something.For few minutes she thought about her future and finally decided to continue her practice in US and also to complete MS.She thought about those procedures and that time she got a call. She saw the caller ID and understood it's from India. She attended the call and was surprised to hear Ruby's voice."Harika darling! How are you doing?" She asked cheerfully, "I'm fine aunty. How are you?" She replied happily."I'm fine dear but I'm missing you all" she replied and Harika felt her true concern in her tone. "Sorry aunty, we left India in hurry so couldn't meet you that time" she replied sadly."I can understand dear. I'm very happy that finally Harini and Karthik was united. In previous years I thought he got married but after knowing the truth, I was really shocked. Now I'm very happy that my friend got her love again" she replied heartily which brought a instant smile on Harika's face."Aunty, how is Adhi?" Harika asked casually. "He is fine dear and I was about to tell you something" Ruby said, "Yes aunty" Harika wondered what was that."Adhi got a job offer in US, same city where you are living. Next week he will reach there, I asked him to inform you about this but he refused that. I don't know what is the reason but whatever it is, you both please overcome that and be a good friends as before. That's my only wish" she said and Harika smiled hearing her."Sure aunty. I'll meet him once he reach. You please send me his address. You really took a very good care when I was there, now it's our turn" she replied with a smile."I just want your happiness dear. Take care. Ask your mom to take care too" she said and ended the conversation.
