Days passed,Harika got back to her routine life. She investigated and found that her seniors planned to trap her in the forest and made her lost her way in the forest. Harika filed a police compliant against them and they were dismissed from the college."Harika today we are going to Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Kilpauk. To get lectures and demonstrations on Mental Health and wellbeing. So get ready" Varsha informed. Harika nodded and got ready happily.She will be more eager to learn new things everytime. She got ready and joined her team.They reached the hospital in next few hours. Their chief doctor started his lecture and Harika listened everything with keen interest."Doctor! The patient in 101 turned furious again. He is not taking his medication and tried to attack the room boy. We couldn't control him" a nurse mumbled nervously."Ok! Let me come with you" he replied and walked with her in hurry. Harika noticed everything and she too followed them. They reached the room in the first floor and Harika found that was the isolated ward in that floor.She was very keen to know about the patient. But the doctor locked the room once he is in. Harika waited for them near the door. The doctor came after half an hour.He was surprised to see Harika waiting outside. "Why are you waiting here?" He asked, "Doctor, if you permit me then I'll meet the patient" she asked with hesitation."No Harika! I can't permit you. He is not a normal patient. He is very critical and sometimes even I couldn't control him. He was affected with severe mental disorder and it's not safe for you to meet him" he neglected her request."But being a doctor, it's our duty to treat every patient" Harika said calmly. "Harika! He is not a common patient, he is very dangerous. Even a experienced doctor fears to handle him. You visited this place for your training. So better stay safe and don't involve in these kind of critical cases" her chief doctor advised."I think now you injected him some madicine and he must be sleeping now. I just want to see him and his medical records. Please Doctor!" She requested. "Ok! Don't make it late! He might open his eyes anytime. Even these sleeping pills and anaesthesia won't work on him sometime" he warned her before she enter his room. The quite room mate her more anxious.The only sound in the room was from the monitor connected to the patient. She slowly reached near the patient. She found him on the bed with his closed eyes.The man in the bed not looked so old, might be in his fifties. His heart beats were monitored by a cardiac monitor. His skin is so fragile and his face expressed the rage even in his unconscious state making her more concerned. His eyes were closed but she found movement in his closed eyes.   His hair was smoky-grey and she rarely found few silver hair. She gazed his face and she felt why he should face these hard life, she really pitied his life.She saw his medical records and was shocked to find that he was hospitalized for more than twenty years. She started feeling bad for his fate. "But why he didn't get cured yet?" She thought and decided to enquire about that with her chief doctor.She took some notes and turned to leave that place but was jerked hearing a loud noise. She turned and found him awake with burning eyes. His hands were bleeding since he broke the trips bottle attached to his hand.Harika's eyes filled with horror seeing his deadly eyes but next moment she was shocked seeing his bleeding hands. She rushed towards him and took away the needle carefully, her eyes reflected the affection and care. But he was not in the state to notice those affection from people.He forcefully pushed her from him and looked her with bloodshot eyes. Next moment doctors entered the room and they rescued Harika before she gets hurt. "You please stay out!" The doctor said, she nodded and left the place.Doctor came out injecting him a pain killer and sleeping pills."This is the reason Why I asked you to stay away from him. He may go to any extreme. Nearly ten staffs were severely injured while treating him" the doctor yelled."It's my duty doctor. Every doctor has the responsibility to take care of their patients" she replied calmly."You not yet completed your training and these kind of critical cases should be treated only by experienced doctors. So try to stay away from these kind of patients. You can treat the people with some minor injuries not all these critical cases" he advised and left the place but nothing went into her mind and she strongly decided to help the patient is get ready."Why there is no improvement in his state for more than twenty years Doctor?" Harika asked her doubt when she met her professor."There are few cases like this Harika. They were affected very much by certain incident happened in their life. They might have some wishes deep inside their heart. Because of that they couldn't come back to their normal state" her professor explained and Harika decided to take that case serious and wished to bring him back to his normal self.They reached their room in the evening. Harika's mind revolved around the hospital and the patients she met that day. Her mobile ringtone brought her back to the reality."Hi mom" Harika's not so intrested voice made her understood her mindset."What happened dear? Are you ok?" She asked sadly, "yes mom! I'm fine but a bit worried" she replied."What made my girl worried?" She asked, Harika briefed the incidents happened that day."Mom I found several people lost their thoughts and living their life meaninglessly for several years. I just want to bring some happiness in them and should make them regain their own life" Harika said with determination."I know you can do that my darling! So stop worrying and start working towards your thoughts. You will be successful in your goal!" She cheered up making her happy."Thank you mom! And the only daughter of the iron lady Devi will surely succeed in her life goals" Harika replied making her smile."Ok dear! Now it's late. You take rest and resume your work tomorrow!" Devi (Harika's mom) adviced and greeted her good night. Harika ended the call with smile.As soon as she ended the call, she got another call from an unknown number. "Who is this in this time?" Harika thought and attended the call."Hello!" She said and the other side he smiled sweetly hearing her voice after a long time. "Harika!" Her eyes widened hearing his voice and her face glowed with a beautiful smile."Harish!" She exclaimed happily. "I thought you would have forgotten my voice" he started playfully, "how could I forget your voice! When it was the only melodious song I got melted when I heard it for the very first time" she thought and that brought a bright smile on her face."Hey! Are you there?" He muttered. "Yeah" she replied with a smile."How could I forget your voice? My Savior" she added which made him smile more. "How are you?" He asked, "I'm fine Harish. How are you? Have you returned home?" She asked."Yeah! Today morning I reached Chennai. I had some important office works to finish so I couldn't contact you in the morning, just now reached my home, so I thought to call you" he replied."That's good! How was your mom and grandpa?" She asked, "they are fine! How about your work?" He asked and they both talked for next one hour. Harika told him about her senior's play to make her get trapped in the forest which shocked him to the core. He asked her to be careful and they both talked about few random stuffs.Both don't have any intention to end the conversation. So they continued it for a long time. Later she slept in the middle of their conversation. He realised that she was asleep and remembered the days when they both were together.Same like this, she will fall asleep in the mid of their conversation and he used to carry her to her room. He remained those days and his heart filled with happiness. He smiled and slept with her thoughts.To love or have loved, that is enough. Ask nothing further.
