Chapter 612
The Unfaithful Mr. Scott ( Melanie Smith )
Chapter 612
Melanie did not know Howard clutched his chest from anger after she and Eugene left.
Bianca helped him to the seats and patted his chest as she pretended to be concerned. âWhy be mad at her? Itâs their choice. Itâll do you no good getting agitated because of this.â
Howard grabbed Biancaâs hand and sighed. âI wish Mel can be as obedient as you, That brat wouldnât have been able to deceive her then.â
Bianca recalled Eugeneâs appearance and muttered, âI think he looks nice.â
âWhat did you say?â
Bianca smiled and poked Howardâs chest. âNow youâre calling me obedient. Didnât you say Iâm just an employee of your company? Are the other employees as obedient as me?â
âYouâre my dearest employee, okay?â Howard coxed Bianca.
Bianca asked, âWho do you think is more beautiful, me or your daughter?â
âOf course, itâs you, my darling. Youâre beautiful and obedient, my dearest darling.â
When Melanie and Eugene arrived at the hotel, Melanie wanted to head back to her room, but Eugene stopped her and said expressionlessly, âApply the ointment for me.â
Melanie said, âYou can apply it by looking at the mirror.â
Eugene looked at her and said nothing. After pursing her lips and pondering, Melanie followed him upstairs.
When they entered Eugeneâs room, he took off his coat and threw it in the bin. The suit that cost a few thousand dollars was now a pile of rubbish.
He wanted to take a bath. Melanie frowned and reminded him, âThe doctor said itâs better not to wet the wounds.â
Eugene froze and said, âIâm washing my hands,â
However, that was an excuse. Just as he entered the bathroom, the water was turned on.
Melanie could not dash in and stop him from bathing. She only hoped Eugene would avoid wetting his wounds.
While waiting, she took out the ointment prescribed by the doctor.
As expected, his body and hair were wet when Eugene walked out of the bathroom.
He did not wear a shirt, revealing his drenched chest.
Only then did Melanie know why Eugene wanted her help.
Besides Eugeneâs forehead and knuckles, his elbow and shoulder were also injured.
It was indeed inconvenient for him to apply the ointment himself.
Melanie sat on the couch. âLetâs apply the ointment.â
Eugene sat before her. His skin was flawless, and the scratches looked obvious on him.
Fortunately, he took a quick bath and did not stand under the water for long.
However, Melanie still sanitized the wounds before applying the ointment.
She was gentle, and her touch on Eugeneâs skin was like a feather brushing past it. Eugene found it ticklish.
The wounds on his forehead and knuckles were easy to deal with. However, the one on his shoulder was extensive, and some scratches were on his collarbone.
Melanie took the cotton bud and said, âI think itâll be easier with you lying down.â
Eugene looked at her and said nothing as he lay on the bed in the room.
Melanie took the ointment and approached him. She happened to see his muscular waist above his loosely tied towel.
