Eugene’s face turned cold as he looked at Cedric, who looked to be on the precipice of his sanity. Sneering, he turned around and left.

While the turmoil around Viola continued, Melanie just ignored it. She had just gotten her hands on George’s phone from Stephen.

George was meticulous when it came to demanding money, and he recorded several

conversations between Viola and Dylan which focused on some key points. They were almost enough to ruin Viola.

Melanie looked at the recordings in her hands. Her brows were slightly furrowed. Stephen, who had been with her all along, asked, “What’s wrong? Is there something wrong?”

Melanie lowered her gaze. “Nothing.”

Although she had the evidence against Viola, Melanie could not relax until there was a resolution.

Melanie hesitated for a moment before playing the video. It started with the scene of Viola being blocked by Lee and Julie.

The video was filmed at the elevator entrance on the top floor. Viola was staring in the direction of Eugene’s office, her face revealing her vulnerability and grievance.

“Eugene, why won’t you listen to my explanation? I know you can hear me. Why won’t you come out and see me?” she called out, her voice pained.

Melanie closed the video at this point. She had no interest in Viola, and Tina did not send anything else.

Meanwhile, at LeapCo, Viola had been escorted downstairs by Lee and Julie.

Facing Lee, Viola’s complexion was pale and her expression was filled with pain. She pleaded, ” Lee, please let me go up to see Eugene! I can explain everything. I—”

“Explain?” Arms crossed, Julie looked at Viola with disdain. She replied, “So, you’re not the one who leaked the company’s secrets? What else is there to explain? Like how you ended up in bed with Mason?”

The moment Julie said that, Viola fell back weakly. Julie continued with even more disdain, ” Don’t pretend to be innocent in front of me. Only someone with a clouded mind like Melanie would be manipulated by someone like you.

“She probably doesn’t want to get on your level either. After all, with your qualities… Tsk.”
