Chapter 21

My Billionaire Kidnapper

My eyes widened as I took in the sight in front of me. So this was where he worked. It was beautiful. It had a modern look to it. If this was what it looked like from the outside, I can't imagine what it would look like from the inside.

Luca parked the car and being the gentleman he always is opened the door for me. I stepped out of the car quickly, eager to go in. The building was so tall, I had to strain my neck to take a good look at it.

A hand placed behind my neck pushed me forward. I turned to Luca.

"What?"

"Don't hurt yourself. Come on now. Let's go inside." He extended his hand out to me for me to take it which I did and together we walked inside.

We entered the building through the large revolving doors and I was right. The interior was way better than the exterior. It was simple yet luxurious. It was very spacious. You could bring a whole circus in here.

I giggled at the thought of a circus being in here and Lucas grumpy face.

"What are you giggling at?" Luca asked with one of his beautiful smiles.

"You're building is so spacious, you could fit a whole circus here." I told him.

"Oh really?" He asked stopping and turning around to look around his building.

"Yes, I think so." I said.

"I think so too." He said chuckling. "It's got a lot of space to do other things too."

"Like what?" I asked curious.

"Things that involve you and I only." He said smirking.

I felt heat spread to my cheeks and avoided his stare.

"Well, thank the lord that's never going to happen."

"Oh it will. Sooner or later." He said with a promising tone.

I won't ever let him touch me that way. I can't right?

We didn't say anything else as we approached the elevators and that's when I realised everyone giving us curious glances.

When the elevators doors opened, we stepped inside.

Luca leaned on his back against the wall. When the doors closed, he pulled me towards him swiftly. Both my hands landed on his chest to stop my face from hitting his chest. I looked up at him.

"Now, do you remember the rules or should I go over them again." He asked lowering his face down, one arm around my waist keeping me in place and the other playing with my hair.

"No, I remember." I said nervously because of the way we were standing.

"I'm going to go over them one more time just in case." He said. "Rule number one, you will be accompanying me to work every single morning and will stay with me till the end. So you have already accompanied me but you will not be leaving until I finish. Understand?"

I nodded.

"Rule number two. You-"

"I can't talk to anyone unless you allow me too, including Diego. I know."

He looked surprised yet glad that I remembered.

"Rule number three-" he started but I interrupted once again.

"If I need anything, I ask you. Even if I need to go to the bathroom, you will take me and wait outside until I'm done," I said, "and rule number four, I'm not to talk to any man."

"Perfect." He said grinning. "If you're hungry, just let me know. You are not to be leaving the building at all. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes, yes." I said rolling my eyes.

"Good." He said leaning down and pecked my cheek. He leaned back staring at my face.

I grabbed his face, squishing his cheeks at the same time which made him look adorable and turned his face to the side.

He turned his face back to me shocked.

"It's rude to stare." I said smiling.

"Oh really now?" He asked smiling back. "I was just thinking about how enticing your lips look. Makes me want to-"

The bell dinged indicating we have reached our floor. The doors opened and I was the first one to step out, Luca following me after.

He joined our hands together again and led me to his office.

The floor was quiet which led me to believe this was only his floor which is why I didn't see anyone.

That was what I thought until I saw a young woman seated on a chair behind a desk writing something down.

She looked up and her eyes lit up when she saw us coming.

She was beautiful with ginger hair and blue eyes. She looked to be around four or five years older than me.

"Good morning sir." She said then looked at me with a smile.

"Good morning Claire." He replied. "Meet the love of my life, Luna."

The love of his life huh, I thought.

His muscly arm wrapped around my small waist pulling me towards him. I looked up at him to see him looking down at me smiling beaming with happiness. Maybe cause he got to introduce me to someone else for the first time other than Diego.

I looked back at the woman who I now know as Claire.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you." I greeted and extended my hand out to her for a handshake.

"Hello," she replied with a bigger smile, "I'm Claire and I am Luca's secretary. I'm so glad to meet you." She said and shook my hand. She seems like a very nice person.

"It's Mr Black for you." Luca said in a playful tone.

"Oh shush. I've had to put up with your grumpiness for five years now. We're basically siblings." She said.

Luca laughed at her comment. "Claire will be showing you around later. You two will make great friends. If you need anything, ask her."He said.

Oh right. Rule number three.

"Oh we will." She said with a cheeky smile.

"Don't try anything I won't like." Said Luca getting serious.

"Stop acting older than your age, Mr oldie." I smiled at what she said and thought about how we're going to be good friends.

Luca sighed and rubbed his forehead.

"You two act like children." He said.

"Two?" Claire asked.

"I call him old too. I can't help it. He just acts like one." I said.

"Oh! I know right." We both laughed.

We both turned to see Luca with folded arms.

"Don't make me regret letting you be around her." He told me.

"Don't worry, she won't." Claire said.

"Come darling, I'll show you to my office." Luca once again pulled me towards him by my waist.

"Bye!" Claire called out as we left.

I turned around and waved. I felt happy that I made a friend already. I won't feel so lonely around here, after all.

Oh my god. I'm acting like a kindergarten child who never interacted with strangers before.

"What did you think of Claire?" Luca asked me as we stopped in front of two large, double doors. He turned to me awaiting my answer.

"She looks like a really nice girl. I can't judge her without knowing her properly but I believe she's a sweet person." I told him.

"That's good to hear," he said opening the doors, "welcome to my office, darling." He said as we entered the room.

The room screamed Luca. The same colours he had in his room at both the house and penthouse were present here too. Just like the building itself, his office had a modern look to it.

"It's nice. Reminds me of you." I said walking around observing everything.

Luca chuckled behind me.

"So you noticed." He said.

He took a seat on his chair behind his desk and opened his laptop.

"I'll be working now, Luna. You can take a look around the office more if you want then I'll call Claire to give you a tour of the office. Your choice." He said.

"I'll look around more." I said.

"Very well." He said and got into work mode.

I looked around and spotted the balcony. I love balcony's. I opened the door and was met with a sudden gust of wind as I stepped foot outside. I walked towards the end of the balcony and leaned against the railing.

Wow!

The view was mesmerising. You could see most of the city from here.

I closed my eyes relaxing feeling peaceful and calm and let my hair flow in the wind. You could hear slight noises from the traffic and city life.

I jumped when two arms snaked around my waist and pulled me towards them making me lean back into them. I obviously knew who it was from the cologne which made me feel even calmer if possible.

"You're supposed to be working." I said and opened my eyes to enjoy the view. I took a deep breath.

Luca chuckled and laid his chin on my head.

"I wanted to enjoy the view with you," he said and took a deep breath, "I come here when I'm stressed. Makes me feel calm and forget about the real world for a while."

We stood there for a while until Luca decided it was time for him to get back to work.

He called Claire and told her to take me for a tour around the building and reminded her to stay in the building.

He suddenly pulled me real close to him.

"Don't bother asking her to help you because she won't believe you. No one in this building is going to help you." He whispered in my ear before I joined Claire outside his office.

I wasn't going to try anyway. No one would believe me. His co-workers love him. Stuff that, everyone loves him. It would only result in me ruining my name and then no one would believe me.

"So, are you ready for the tour?" Claire asked me excitedly.

"Yes." I said smiling at the way she looked like a young child excited to go to the playground.

She joined her arm around mine and started the tour.
