Chapter 816: Likes Eating Snacks

In an instant, Daniel Marshall’s complexion became terrifying, and his deep-set eyes sparkled with bright fury.

But Daniel remained silent.

After sitting for a while, Adam Howard asked cautiously, “Do you want to do something? Or, do you want to go to Cross City?”

Daniel picked up a pack of cigarettes, casually took one, placed it between his lips, and lit it up, taking a drag.

His sensually thin lips parted slightly, exhaling faint circles of smoke. Daniel squinted his hawk-like eyes at Adam, “Are all women’s hearts so small? But when I was with Charmy Bennett, she never lost her temper with me, nor was she ever unreasonable. She was very sensible, understood me well and was considerate towards me.”@@novelbin@@

“I don’t know what to say to that. If you feel tired, if you don’t want to love anymore, then let go of Olivia Jenkins. When you were with Charmy, most of the time you were abroad; she didn’t interact much with the Marshall family. Back then, the family wasn’t as blatantly competitive as it is now, so there’s no comparison.

If Charmy were in Olivia’s shoes, enduring everything that Olivia has, I think she wouldn’t bear such pressure. If she were bullied, she’d probably not dare to talk back and would just endure it in silence. Besides, their personalities are different, and you were much purer back then.”

Daniel took another puff of his cigarette and exhaled a lingering cloud of smoke, “Olivia insists on separating from me, am I really that bad?”

Adam Howard replied nonchalantly, “Everyone’s needs are different. Maybe what Olivia wants is a pure relationship, but she found it too crowded between you two.”

“You go out. There’s no need to keep an eye on them anymore.”

Adam pursed his lips and nodded, looking at Daniel, holding back his words.

Afterward, Adam walked out.

You can help once or twice, but what about after that?

Let them solve their own problems.

Adam walked up to Simon Howard, patted him on the shoulder, “Be careful to watch and don’t easily give up your position. We both know what those women are like, but he cares too much about the motherly affection he never had as a child. If he gets confused, you must not. Don’t let a manipulative woman get the chance, understand?”

Simon Howard spoke earnestly, “I get what you mean. I’ll keep a close eye on him, and I won’t let any woman other than his wife get close.”

“I’m off work now. Call me if something comes up.”

Benjamin Johnson’s sharp eyes fixed on Olivia Jenkins, “You’ve eaten very little. Don’t these dishes suit your taste? Would you like to order something else?”

Olivia shook her head, telling a kind lie, “I caught a little cold, so I don’t have much of an appetite. Let’s not order anymore; I don’t want to waste.”

Benjamin asked anxiously, “Have you seen a doctor?”

Olivia smiled faintly, “You forgot, I was once a doctor. A small ailment like this won’t bother me; I’ll be fine in a few days.”

“Tomorrow, you should take my car back to Serene City.”

“No need. I’ve already bought a high-speed train ticket. It’s very convenient to take the high-speed train to Serene City, and it only takes an hour. It’s fast too.”

Benjamin continued to eat, occasionally keeping his eyes on Olivia.

In the past, Olivia wasn’t so fond of snacking, but Benjamin noticed that she barely touched the meals and never stopped snacking.
