Chapter 803: 803: Sending Her Abroad
He Clings to Me Every Night
Adam Howard led Martin Wallace away from the CEOâs office.
âDonât provoke him; if anything happens, I really canât save you. Stay out of this mess if you can, and donât get mixed up in it.â
Martin Wallace put the unfinished cigarette into the nearby sandpile, then looked at Adam Howard with a serious expression, âThis time, theyâre most likely going to separate.â
âWhat does it have to do with us? Why do you care so much! Iâve warned him before, yet he still went his own way. What happened today is entirely his own fault.
His wife has already been very forgiving, having pardoned him twice. He just doesnât appreciate the chance and keeps crossing the line. Now, I donât feel the slightest pity for him; instead, I feel sorry for his wife.â
Simon Howard leaned against the wall, looking at Adam Howard and Martin Wallace with tightly pursed lips.
Martin Wallace looked back and forth between Adam Howard and Simon Howard, unconsciously furrowing his brows, âI see that both of you share the same expression.â
âAnd how should we react? Is this something we can intervene in? Weâre not idle with nothing better to do after eating!â Adam Howard glared at Martin Wallace, âYou better not try to mediate. Mind their wishes, itâs their business.â
Martin Wallaceâs brows relaxed, his sharp gaze falling on Simon Howard, âDo you know all about it?â
Simon Howard spread his hands, âSomeone like me, who shouldnât voice their opinion, needs to know when to shut up.â
Adam Howard also put out his cigarette in the sandpile, âLetâs wrap up, Iâve got work to do. Finish work early and go to Jordan Bennettâs place for some festivity, catch some joy.â
Martin Wallace shook his head and left.

In the evening, when Grace Ziegler saw Daniel Marshall arrive, her face was brimming with happiness, âDaniel, letâs have dinner together.â
Daniel Marshall nodded.
Grace Ziegler smelled a strong scent of smoke on Daniel, but she didnât mention it at all.
Grace Ziegler guessed that he must have had another conflict with his wife; thatâs why Daniel must be feeling down and smoking so much.
That woman should hurry up and leave so she could accompany Daniel. She was sure she could make him happy. She would take good care of Daniel, and in the future, Daniel wouldnât need that woman anymore.
Danielâs deep eyes gazed at Grace Ziegler, âYou look quite well, you must be feeling a lot better?â
Grace Zieglers nodded, âThanks to the thoughtful care you gave me, I recovered quickly.â
âTomorrow, Iâm busy and wonât come to see you, and the day after, I have an appointment with a specialist for your follow-up examination. Are you getting used to the hearing aid in your right ear?â
Grace Ziegler looked down, her expression a bit bitter.
Of course, she wasnât used to it. If possible, she wished to return to normal.
But once she recovered and returned to normal, Daniel would push her away once again, and all she had now would vanish like a bubble.
This is the so-called price for everything you gain.@@novelbin@@
So, sheâd rather choose everything as it is now. As long as Daniel feels guilty, he wonât ignore her, and she can stay by his side, obtaining what she desires.
Grace Ziegler didnât speak, and Daniel, thinking she was upset, comforted her softly, âYou are going to get better. Recovery is a process that takes time. Take it slowly; thereâs no need to rush. I will do my best to help you return to normal.â
Grace Ziegler looked up, putting on an optimistic smile, and looked at Daniel, âThank you!â
After a few seconds of silence, Daniel spoke calmly, âIf you recover, do you have anything you want to do? Do you want to study abroad? Youâre still young and should plan for your future. You can still create a wonderful life for yourself, and I can help you. We need to look further into the future, and I think further studies would suit you well.â
