Chapter 633: 633: You Are Worth My Shamelessness
He Clings to Me Every Night
âHoney, I canât today. I canât let the media make wild guesses. On a day as important as this, I want to be with you.â
Olivia Jenkins rolled her eyes and said with annoyance: âOkay, enough with your excuses, stop talking as if youâre so important. Iâm perfectly fine without you during the filming ceremony. Iâm a practical person, I donât need any fancy stuff.â
With his sensual, thin lips pressed together, Daniel Marshall held Olivia Jenkinsâ hand.
In an instant, Olivia shook him off, her body radiating a coldness as piercing as an icy and snowy day.
Looking at Olivia with hurt in his eyes, Daniel held her hand, tightly. Suddenly, he gripped her fiercely and possessively.
Olivia sensed that Danielâs hand was warm. As a doctor, she could tell right away that he was running a fever.
Olivia hestitated, but still persistently shook Danielâs hand.
Stubborn as a mule, Daniel held onto Oliviaâs hand, regardless of how hard she tried to break free, he wouldnât, couldnât, let go.
Fury rose in Oliviaâs chest, her eyes lit with a vicious glare. She glared angrily at Daniel, âCanât you have some dignity? Stop doing disgusting things that serve no purpose, have some decency!â
Ignoring Oliviaâs fury and rejection, Daniel earnestly said, âYouâre worth any shameless act I would do, Iâve never claimed to be any nobler.â
âHoney, donât misunderstand me, I just want to be with you, when I hold your hand, it gives me peace. If youâre upset, you can lash it out on me, you can even hit me, but you canât leave me.â
Unable to shake off Danielâs hand, Oliviaâs anger escalated, her eyes full of resentment as she glared at him, âIf you donât let go, Iâll call for help!â
âGo ahead, shout. I donât mind. But to separate us, that I canât do. Even if you push me, I still canât.â
Suddenly, there was a loud smack. Olivia had slapped Daniel right across the face.
Even with a mask shielding some of the blow, Danielâs face still stung like a burn.
With a look of resignation, Daniel quietly asked in a soft, hoarse voice, âDoes that make you feel better? I know you would rather see me dead. Itâs okay, I wonât resist. Take it all out on me.â
âYouâre so annoying! Youâre more thick-skinned than the Earth itself! Yes, youâre right. Iâd love to see you dead, but I donât argue with scum.â
Instantly, Danielâs eyes filled with pain- like a sharp blade had plunged deep into his heart, the agony spreading throughout his body, down to his bone marrow.
âHoneyâ¦â
âLet go, I donât want to be tangled up with you. Even if you were bedridden, I wouldnât visit you or feel sorry for you. Letâs part on good terms and stop disgusting each other. I promise to pay back your 2 billion, without any delay.â
âNo matter what your terms are, Iâve prepared myself. Itâs clear that Iâve always been the uncomfortable one. You donât have to accommodate me- live your own life, do what you want.â
âDo you really have to be this extreme? Tell me what I did wrong, what dissatisfies you to the point that you want to separate. Where didnât I treat you right? Didnât I do everything I could to protect you?â
âI want to hear the reason from your own mouth, even if itâs an accusation. I want to hear how terrible you think I truly am. You always think that Charmy Bennett is the problem between us? Or do you think Iâm a flirt who messes around too much? Do you think Iâm guilty of anything else besides these two?â
âDaniel Marshall, youâre fucking mental! Insane!â Unable to break away from Danielâs grip, Olivia bit down on his handâ¦
