Chapter 590: 590: Stand Up Straight
He Clings to Me Every Night
Suppressing her unusual emotions, Olivia Jenkins called Abigail Anderson.
âAre you free tonight? Shall we have dinner together?â
Abigail Anderson, wearing a Bluetooth headset and driving, replied: âIâm off tonight and free, letâs have dinner together.â
âWe can talk more when we meet.â
âOlivia, if youâre not happy, you canât keep it to yourself. Speak ill of Daniel Marshall if you have to.â Abigail couldnât bring herself to suggest divorce at this point. She figured it was not the time to facilitate a breakup for Olivia; it was better to understand the situation first.
âI understand. Iâll keep that in mind.â
âI am driving now, weâll talk more later. See you soon.â
After finishing the call, Olivia sent the location that Adam Howard sent her earlier as if everything were alright.
Until this moment, even though the pain in Olivia Jenkinsâ heart was unbearable, she remained calm, without making a scene.
Having grown up and weathered so many storms, she should act more maturely.
As Mrs. Olivia Marshall, she had foreseen her extraordinary life from the beginning.
Whether itâs happiness, anger, sorrow, or joy, all emotions were in her expectations from the moment she became Mrs. Olivia Marshall. She knew this path was thorny,
and she was prepared to face any potential surprises.
With no extravagant expectations for love in her heart anymore, there wouldnât be any more disappointment, and even if she felt down, it made her stronger than before.
â¦
Olivia Jenkins was waiting for Abigail Anderson in the restaurantâs parking lot.
When Abigail arrived, Olivia got into the car and they chatted briefly.
âI know youâre concerned about me. Iâm really fine. Donât mention the video during dinner. Perhaps things are not as they seem, guessing wildly is not appropriate.ân/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
âOlivia, you should call Daniel directly. You are Mrs. Marshall, you have the right to demand an explanation. If he doesnât consider your feelings, you shouldnât keep such a man.â
Olivia nodded slightly, âYour suggestion is good, I will ask him tonight.â
Abigail looked at Olivia sympathetically and advised, âYou should be fierce to him. Men shouldnât be spoiled. If youâre dissatisfied with anything, set him straight! I definitely wouldnât stand for such grievances. Let him have it wherever it hurts, the more, the better.â
Suddenly, a slight smile graced Oliviaâs beautiful face.
She also looked at Abigail with new admiration.
âYou make a good point. Why should I belittle myself when Iâve done nothing wrong? I donât know when it started, but I feel like Iâve lost the old me. I feel so foolish!â
With a bite on her lower lip, Abigail whispered: âWomen in love are all fools!â
Surprised for a moment, Olivia suddenly laughed out loud.
Olivia cast down her bright eyes and sarcastically said, âYouâre right. Iâve been such a fool, itâs affecting my work.â
Abigail locked eyes with Olivia, giving her a thumbs-up, âHang in there. I support you and believe in you. From the moment I first saw you, youâve been very confident, possessing a powerful aura. You were a commanding female president I admired. Decisive and resolute, captivating anyone in view. so charming!â
Having talked for a while, receiving advice from Abigail, Olivia felt much better, her mood improved.
She also figured out the direction she had lost.
âThanks for your advice, itâs helpful. Letâs go have dinner.â
âFeel free to talk to me anytime, even if I canât offer help, I can be a loyal listener. At least I can be there for you to vent your emotions, so you wonât feel oppressed.â
As they got out of the car, Olivia held Abigailâs hand, and while walking, she asked, âHow are things between you and Jordan Bennett?â
