We Are Guardians

Third Person P.O.V

Golden sand quickly wraps around the arrow, making Pitch gasp and scream as he was suddenly dragged over the buses behind him and dragged along the floor, landing in front of a swarm of golden sand.

(Y/N) smiles widely, Jack quickly joining her with a soft gasp and a grin when he sees the silhouette of Sandy.

The other Guardians smile as Sandy appears, his eyes narrowed and a smile on his face.

Pitch gasps, yelping as Sandy yanks him in front of him. He looks back at Jack and (Y/N) as they fly to him, making him smile and point at her, Pitch looking over before looking back in fear.

The word 'love' appears above his head, crossed off by an 'x' as he clicks his tongue silently, waving his finger 'no' sternly. He swings his fist back, punching Pitch high into the air as he screams.

"The Sandman!" Jamie smiles as they race towards him.

Sandy looks back, smiling and nodding as he tips a hat he made off his head. Jamie smiles, saluting back as the kids cheer.

Sandy pauses, looking up before swinging the rope down, Pitch yelling as he lands roughly on the ground.

"Sandy!" (Y/N) laughs, kneeling down and hugging him as the others quickly join.

North laughs, tossing Sandy in the air as Sandy floats with a wide smile.

"Mate, you are a sight for sore eyes," Bunny chuckles, sighing in relief as he looks over at Pitch, who was knocked out cold with sand butterflies above his head.

Jack smiles, wrapping his arm around (Y/N)'s shoulders and placing a kiss on her cheek as Sandy raises himself in the air.

He takes in a deep breath, using his magic on all corners of the world. They soothe sleeping kids, chasing away their bad dreams.

...

Baby Tooth watches the globe, gasping and smiling as the lights begin to shine once more. Her friends all begin flying, smiling in relief before racing to the capsules to remind kids of what's important.

The capsules shine brightly as more and more lights begin flickering once more.

...

"Pretty!" Sophie giggles, watching a golden butterfly fly past her window.

...

The Yetis all watch in relief as the lights on the Globe shine brightly, more and more sparking.

...

A Nightmare races away, skidding to a stop in front of a dangerous-looking Cupcake. She taps its nose, making it change into a unicorn as she cheers, smiling as it nuzzles her face and trots off.

Jack laughs, quickly moving (Y/N) aside as a dinosaur stomps next to them. North bellows with laughter, nodding and patting his stomach as he watches Sandy's creations.

Pippa and the others laugh as dolphins swim past them, twirling around them before flying off.

(Y/N) joins Jamie as a (F/A) walks up to them. She chuckles, reaching out for it as Jamie does the same. She yelps as something collides with her wing, making her look back with a raised brow and squeal as another snowball was thrown at her.

She ducks, making the snowball hit Jamie. He gasps, looking back as Jack smirks at the two of them, tossing and catching a snowball.

"Oh... It's so on," (Y/N) grins, scooping up some snow and hurling it at Jack.

Jamie giggles, copying her and throwing a snowball at Jack as he yelps, dodging them.

"Hey! Why are you on her side?" He whines, mocking hurt and laughing.

Jamie laughs in reply, scooping up more snow and throwing it at Monty. The kids all join in, laughing and playing.

Sandy sighs softly with a smile as he looks over everyone, nodding.

"Your centers?" North questions with a raised brow and a smile.

"Hmm... It took us a while," Jack hums, wrapping his arm around (Y/N) as she smiles. "But we figured it out."

"Well... Jack figured mine out. I wasn't really thinking about it," (Y/N) shyly admits as she looks over the kids. "But... We found it."

North proudly grins, nodding as he reaches in his pockets and offers two items. (Y/N) looks at Jack before reaching out, taking her center with a small laugh.

It was a miniature version of her holding her bow as a shield, a pair of wings on her back and a heart on her cheek as she smiles.

Jack's was of himself, smiling mischievously as he holds a snowball in one hand, his staff in the other.

"You are adorable!" (Y/N) laughs, taking his and looking it over with a smile as Jack blushes lightly with a nervous laugh.

North chuckles, winking at him before gasping when a snowball collides with the back of his head.

"Oooh!" Caleb and Claude both gasp, pointing to an elf holding a small snowball.

North laughs, scooping up some snow as they run away with laughs. "You're all on naughty list! Bunny, think fast!"

Bunny looks at North, falling back as a snowball strikes his face. He sits up with a smile, laughing and shaking his head as Tooth giggles.

...

Pitch groans as he sits up, gasping as he looks at everyone laughing with smiles.

"No..." He breathes out, yelping and ducking under a golden ray as it flies over him.

Pitch breathes heavily as he looks back at the kids. "You dare have fun in my presence?! I am the Boogeyman!

(Y/N) and Jack watch Pitch with scowls, ready to fight as he rushes towards Jamie.

"And you will fear me!"

Jamie runs right through Pitch, unable to see him as he cheerfully laughs.

"No!" Pitch gasps, clutching at his chest while gasping and breathing heavily. "No..."

The Guardians watch Pitch with sad expressions, sending a chill through his body as he yelps, turning running away.

...

He rushes through the woods, running on an ice lake and looking back in fear. He collides with something, bouncing back and revealing North standing there with a smirk, along with the others.

"Leaving the party so soon?" North questions, smirking as he steps closer.

"You didn't even say goodbye," Tooth says in a light tone, flying in front of him and tossing a coin.

Pitch scoffs as he catches it, "a quarter?"

Tooth swings her fist back, colliding it with his mouth and sending him flying back as she dusts her hands off.

"And that's for my Fairies."

His tooth lands on the ice as he hisses in pain, touching the sore spot as the fairies chitter angrily at him.

"You can't get rid of me!" Pitch frantically yells as he holds his aching jaw, rising and stumbling. "Not forever! If there is love then there will always be fear!" He shouts, gesturing to (Y/N) as she glares at him, Jack's arm wrapping around her protectively.

"So what?" North scoffs, clapping a hand on (Y/N) shoulder as she smiles at him. "As long as one child believes and holds love, we will be here to fight that fear."

"Really?" Pitch muses smugly, looking around as Nightmares appear from the woods. "Then what are they doing here?"

These Nightmares were a little different, however, and had folded feathered wings on their backs.

North laughs, shrugging, "Can't be my Nightmares. I'm not afraid."

"I don't sense anything evil," (Y/N) shrugs, sighing softly with a smile as she casually walks towards Pitch. She looks towards the Nightmares, smiling and patting one of them as it snorts softly.

Pitch's smile falls as he nervously looks around, Jack noticing with a smirk.

"Looks like it's your fear the smell," Jack states with a smirk, looking around before facing Pitch.

Pitch gasps with wide eyes, yelping as he backs away. The Nightmares whinny, racing past the Guardians as they chase Pitch.

He screams as they swarm him, dragging him away as he digs his fingers into the ground.

"No, no, no!" Pitch screams as they drag him back underground, getting rid of him.

Manny shines in the sky, making Jack smile and nod as (Y/N) laughs, rushing to him. He drops his staff, scooping her in his arms and twirling her in the air as he chuckles softly, lowering her and kissing her.

She smiles into the kiss, pulling away as Tooth happily squeals, Bunny groaning in mock disgust as North laughs.

Baby Tooth chitters as she flies around them, landing on (Y/N)'s shoulder and hugging her cheek. (Y/N) laughs, smiling as Baby Tooth flutters around Jack before joining Tooth.

"Are you ready, you two?" North smiles, approaching. "To make it official."

"Oh, wow! We gettin' married?" Jack jokes, making (Y/N) snort and shake her head with a blush.

North chuckles, Bunny shaking his head with a grin as Tooth hugs his arm with an excited smile, Sandy watching with a nod.

"Jack, come on," (Y/N) laughs, taking his hand.

"What? We totally could, I mean, it's been what, hundreds of years?" Jack jokes playfully, squeezing her hand with a chuckle as she rolls her eyes fondly with a smile.

A mad looking elf angrily taps his trumpet against his hand, making his friend nervously watch.

Jack stands straight, holding his staff tall as (Y/N)'s bow vanishes, her wings folded on her back.

A Yeti carefully hands the large book to North, making him nod in thanks as he clears his throat.

"Then is time you both take Oath." North opens the book, flipping a few pages as Jack and (Y/N) smile at each other. "Will you, Jack Frost and (Y/N)(L/N), vow to watch over the children of the world..."

Jamie and the others join, watching with grins.

"To guard them with your lives, their hopes, their wishes, their dreams and their love, for they are all that we have, all that we are, and all that we will ever be?"

Jack looks back at Jamie, smiling softly as Jamie nods with a grin. He looks back, smiling widely as he nods, "I will."

"Together, we will," (Y/N) nods, grinning.

"Then, congratulations, Jack Frost and (Y/N). For you are now," North closes the book as he yells in excitement, "and forevermore! Guardians."

The children cheer, Bunny and the others doing the same with smiles and laughter.

North scoops the two up in his arms, hugging them tightly as he yells in Russian, setting them down and kissing their cheeks.

(Y/N) laughs as Jack smiles, shaking his head.

"My friends," Bunny congratulates, nodding with a smile.

Jack chuckles, kissing (Y/N)'s cheek and hugging her to his side with a smile.

An elf grabs his friend, kissing his cheek before watching Jack and (Y/N) with starry eyes. His friend pauses for a moment before swiftly punching him away.

Tooth's Fairies squeak as they form a heart around (Y/N) and Jack, making Tooth laugh as she flies over.

"Keep it together, girls!"

Jamie and his friends cheer before gasping as a rumbling could be heard, North's sleigh flying overhead.

The same painted elf quickly grabs his friend, stroking it as he glares at the reindeer.

The children gasp in awe, all exclaiming in excitement as they watch the sleigh.

Jamie holds Sophie's hand, his friends joining him as they admire the sleigh.

"Everyone loves the sleigh." Bunny chuckles, smiling at North.

North chuckles softly, looking at Jack and (Y/N) with a small smile.

"Time to go."

Sandy nods, smiling as he uses his magic and creates golden fireworks. The golden dust rains down on them, making them laugh and smile.

Bunny approaches Sophie, smiling softly as he kneels to her height and hands her an egg.

"Happy Easter, you little ankle-biter." She giggles as she sets her hand on his nose, making him chuckle. "I'm gonna miss you."

"Bye, bye, Bunny!" Sophie giggles, hugging him.

Jack sighs deeply as he hugs (Y/N)'s waist, their gaze landing on Jamie as he approaches with a frown.

"You're leaving?" Jamie questions sadly, frowning as he shakes his head. "But what if Pitch comes back? What if we stop believing again? If I can't see you guys--"

"Hey, slow down, slow down," (Y/N) chuckles, kneeling to his height as Jack squats.

"You telling me you stop believing in the moon when the sun comes up?" Jack jokes, setting his hand on Jamie's shoulder.

"No." Jamie replies, looking down.

"Well, do you stop believing in the sun when the clouds block it out?" (Y/N) plays along, making Jamie giggle and shake his head.

"No." Jamie mumbles and shakes his head.

"We'll always be there, Jamie," Jack smiles as he speaks gently. "And now..."

"We'll always be here," (Y/N) finishes, pointing to Jamie's heart.

"Which... kind of makes you a Guardian, too," Jack muses with a grin, rising to his feet as (Y/N) does the same.

He takes her hand, nodding as they turn and start to the sleigh, where the other were waiting.

"Guys!" Jamie yells, rushing to them.

They turn around in question, gasping as he wraps an arm around both of them. Jack pants lightly, half-expecting Jamie to run right through them before chuckling in relief. Some tears fall from (Y/N)'s face as she lets out a small choked up laugh, both kneeling to his height and hugging him.

The others all watch with smiles, North nodding as Jack jumps onto the sleigh. (Y/N) ruffles Jamie's hair for a final time as he laughs, making her smile as she joins Jack on the wing.

North shouts as he cracks the reins, the children whooping and cheering after them with waves as they take off.

Jack takes in a deep breath, smiling softly as he makes his way to the back of the sleigh with (Y/N).

My name... is Jack Frost.

North nods at the two, Tooth smiling and waving as she sits down, Sandy grinning with a clap and Bunny smirking with a nod.

And I'm (Y/N) (L/N). How do we know that? Because the Moon told us so.

And we were destined to be together, right from the very start. How do I know that? Well... My heart always knew.

Ah, I never knew you could be so sappy and romantic.

Only for you, sweetheart.

Jack chuckles as (Y/N) leans her head on his shoulder, Baby Tooth resting on his other one as he creates a snowflake. A small golden heart appears next to it, making him smile as it dances around his snowflake.

So when the Moon or your heart tells you something...

Believe it.

Jack smiles, releasing the snowflake and heart as (Y/N) waves with a grin, kissing Jack's cheek as the sleigh flies off towards the moon.

After Credits...

A sleeping Cupcake was carried through the doggy door by Bunny's eggs, sneakily rushing past her dad.

They stack up, dropping her onto her bed as she yawns.

...

An alarm clock rings, making a woman yawn with a sigh as she shuts it off. She walks out of her room, groaning and rubbing her face.

Fairies above carry a sleeping Monty, careful not to drop him as they carry him to the bathroom.

They brush his teeth before putting him to bed.

...

The Fairies carry Pippa, going through it and dropping her with gasps as they swiftly fly out.

Down below, a Yeti caught her, looking up with a raised brow as they sigh in relief.

...

Elves carry Sophie through the doggy door, Abby watching with a growl of curiosity as they walk past her.

She rises, snarling as another elf approaches.

...

A Yeti carries Claude and Caleb, nodding at two eggs. The eggs open tunnels, and he drops them inside and safely to their beds.

...

Abby continues snarling at the elf as he holds one of her treats. He looks at her before curiously licking it, his eyes widening as he begins to quickly lap at it, Abby whining.

...

The elves toss Sophie on her bed, flinching as she rolls over and falls off. They rush onto the bed and peek at her, revealing she landed on their friend.

They toss a blanket and stuffed lamb on her, and rush away.

...

A Yeti watches Jamie before looking down at his book, noticing he was in one of the pictures titled 'Bigfoot'.

He signs it 'Phil' and puts a heart under it, giggling and setting it back in its place.
