afternoon time_

Rishabh was standing in the kitchen. At that time, there was no one else in the kitchen except him and no one else in the house. Everyone in the house had gone to a relative's function and Riya and Shanaya had gone to watch a movie with Anokhi.

It had been two days since Shivaay and Shivika had left. In these two days, Hardik's restlessness had not reduced at all and neither had Rishabh's worries, because his Cupcake was still angry with him. She did not talk to him properly, so now Rishabh was upset.

He had brought her many gifts, fed her a lot of her favorite cupcakes, but this time his Cupcake did not agree with Cupcakes, so he was going to make cupcakes with his own hands.

He was staring at the things kept in the kitchen as if those things were not from Earth but from Mars, but perhaps the things must be feeling the same about Rishabh.

After staring at the ingredients for a while, Rishabh turned on his mobile and played a video of making cupcakes.

He was making cupcakes very carefully as per the video but something went wrong every time. Sometimes he would add more sugar, sometimes it would burn, sometimes he would put salt instead of sugar. He tried to make it many times but it never got made, but still Rishabh did not give up and kept trying to make it.

After some time, everyone's cars stopped outside the mansion and everyone got out of those cars. Riya, Anokhi and Shanaya had also arrived by that time.

When Shobha saw Anokhi coming from outside, she asked Riya, "Riya, where did you take Anokhi outside? You know we have to take care of her."

“ Mom we had doctor with us and Choti Bhabhi was sitting at home for a long time, so we thought we should watch a movie and Choti Bhabhi did not have any problem.”, said Riya.

When Shobha saw Anokhi, Anokhi said, “Yes maa, I am absolutely fine.  ”

As soon as she finished, Riya made a face and said, “So that means you are really confirming from Choti Bhabhi, you did not believe me.”

On hearing her, everyone smiled and started coming inside the mansion. Just then they smelled something. Surekha said, “ Didi what is this smell?”

“Yes Surekha, I am also thinking the same.”, saying this Shobha looked here and there. Just then she saw smoke coming out of the kitchen. Seeing this she said in a loud voice, “ See smoke is coming out of the kitchen.”

On hearing her, everyone quickly ran towards the kitchen. Anokhi was sitting on the wheelchair and watching them go with worry. Just then the sound of the fire alarm also rang and the main switch of the mansion went off.

The very next moment Rishabh came out of the kitchen coughing. Everyone was standing outside the kitchen and looking at him in surprise. After a while all the lights came back.  When they looked at Rishabh carefully, they could not believe their eyes. Rishabh was completely drenched in flour. He had a cloth in one hand and a spoon in the other. There was cream on many places on his face.

When Anokhi saw him like this, her eyes widened in surprise. Shobha said, “Rishabh, what is this and why was this smell coming from the kitchen?”

Just then Rishabh's guards came out of the kitchen. Grandfather saw them and asked the same question which Shobha had asked. The guards looked at Rishabh who was staring at them.

Then grandfather said in a stern voice, “What are you looking at Rishabh? I have asked a question, answer me.” Then a bodyguard said, “That kitchen caught fire because the microwave oven had blasted.”

“ microwave oven blast. Rishabh, are you okay? What did you go to do in the kitchen and why are you in such a state? Shobha asked him a thousand questions in a panic and started checking him from top to bottom.

Anokhi also got scared after listening to the bodyguards. She called Riya in a loud voice and Riya went to her and brought her to everyone and Anokhi started looking at Rishabh.

Fear was visible in her eyes too. Rishabh calmed everyone down and said, “Calm down, nothing has happened to me. I am absolutely fine.”

“But I swear on diamond Rishabh, what were you doing in the kitchen and why are you in such a state? Were you trying to cook food?” Surekha asked in surprise and Rishabh started avoiding eye contact.

Everyone was surprised to see him avoiding eye contact.  Praveen put his hand on his mouth and said, “So sir you were really cooking and burnt the kitchen, so did you cook food or did that also get burnt.”

Praveen said this in surprise but everyone laughed out loud at his words. Anokhi also burst out laughing. Controlling her laughter, she asked Rishabh, “Rishabh ji you were making cupcakes.”

Anokhi asked this because she understood by looking at the flour and cream that Rishabh was definitely making cupcakes for her to convince her.

Rishabh glared at her and said in a loud voice, “Now will you let me go from here to freshen up or do you all intend to keep me standing here like this?”

“Yes Rishabh go and freshen up quickly.” Shobha said making everyone quiet and sent Rishabh away. Anokhi asked the bodyguard, “Is everything okay inside? I can go.”

“Yes ma’am”, the bodyguard said so Anokhi, Riya and everyone else went to the kitchen and saw. The kitchen was in a bad state. All the stuff was lying here and there on the floor, flour was scattered, the microwave oven was also broken and on one side there was a pile of cupcakes which were not worth eating.

Anokhi took out a cupcake from it which looked a little decent, meaning it was not burnt. She broke a piece from it and along with her Riya, Shanaya, Surekha and Shobha also ate some piece from it.

As soon as the cupcake went into the mouth, it immediately came out of the mouths of all the four. Shobha said making a face, “Oh there is so much salt in it.”

“I swear on diamond Didi, this is the first time I am eating such a bitter sweet thing. Rishabh has put salt in it instead of sugar.”, Surekha said making a face.

“ Bhai must have put salt by mistake.  ", Riya said while drinking water and Shanaya could not say anything, she started vomiting because of the taste of salt.

But there was the only Anokhi who did not spit out the cupcake but somehow swallowed it and after eating it, she did not make a face but a smile came on her lips.

When Shobha saw her smiling, she asked her, “Anokhi, why are you smiling like this and how did you take this?”

“Because rishabh ji had made it with a lot of hard work, so would I spit it out like that? That’s why I ate it and anyway he had made it for me.”, Anokhi said this while talking, but she quickly put her hand on her mouth, but when everyone started staring at her, Anokhi said, “I have been angry for two days and I troubled him a lot. He also brought me a lot of gifts but I did not agree, so maybe he was going to feed me a cupcake made by his own hands, but everything went wrong.” Saying this, Anokhi made a cute pout and started looking at them all sadly.

Hearing her, Shobha smiled and caressed her head. Surekha slapped her head and said, “You are not a human being, you are a wonder. The work that the whole world together cannot get done by Rishabh, you alone are enough to get that work done. And now don’t start eating all these cupcakes saying that your Rishabh ji has made it, otherwise if you fall ill, we will not be able to bear the anger of your Rishabh ji.”

Surekha was staring at Anokhi and talking to her and Anokhi was listening to her with her eyes down. She was feeling shy while listening to Surekha and the rest were smiling looking at her blushing cheeks.

Then they all went to their rooms but Riya and Anokhi were still in the kitchen.  Anokhi asked the bodyguard, "Bodyguard Bhaiya when will this kitchen be fixed?"

"It will be fixed in just 20 minutes.", the bodyguard replied, then Anokhi said, "Okay, you fix it quickly and then I will make cupcakes. Riya Didi, you help me."

After 1 hour, the kitchen was also completely fixed and Anokhi had also made cupcakes, but Rishabh did not come out of his room. So Anokhi asked Praveen to drop her to Rishabh's room, so Praveen picked her up in his arms and brought her out of Rishabh's room.

Anokhi put the plate on side table and said in a loud voice, "Open the door Rishabh ji."

Praveen was feeling nervous inside. Since he did not tell about the gift he was going to give on Holi, Rishabh has made him do night duty till now and now he has made fun of him in front of everyone, what will Rishabh do with him now? He was thinking all this when Rishabh opened the door and started staring at Praveen with devouring eyes. Seeing his eyes, Praveen's condition became tight.

Seeing the heated atmosphere there, Anokhi quickly pulled Rishabh's shirt with one of her hands and brought him closer to her and put her hand around his neck and picked the plate, then Rishabh took her from Praveen's arms in his arms and brought her inside.

He made her sit on the bed and started to staring her, then Anokhi asked innocently, "What happened, why are you looking at me like this?"

"Well, you don't know what happened? Because of you, I became a joke in front of the whole family. Now who knows what they must be thinking? I, Rishabh Shergill, went to the kitchen to cook food and burnt the kitchen.  Cupcake, what all do I have to do for you. Why don't you agree?", Rishabh said angrily, then Anokhi widened her eyes and said, "Hey, you are saying as if the kitchen got burnt because of me. I did not tell you to make cupcakes for me with your own hands."

"What else could I do? I brought you so many cupcakes but you did not agree even with that, did I have any other option?", Rishabh said putting both his hands on his waist and turning his face angrily and she started thinking something.
