Swati was thinking what to do just then she saw Shivaay standing near the car on the other side of the road. She looked at him and got an idea.

Swati said angrily to the chemist, “Did I tell you that I will take medicines on credit. Look uncle, I have not come here to take medicines on credit, you will get all your money. look, my husband is standing there. I was about to say that I forgot the money in the car but you boarded the moving train.”

The chemist peeped a little and saw Shivaay. He was a little shocked to see his car. Then he saw Swati, who was in simple clothes and neither had a mangalsutra nor sindoor in her hair parting.

He stared at Swati and said, “Looking at you, it does not seem that you are married and looking at your clothes, it also does not seem that you are that boy’s wife.”

Hearing her, Swami again looked at Shivaay carefully.  In fact, his car, his clothes, his phone, his watch, his personality itself was telling how rich he is. She said in her mind, “Swati, do something, Swet is alone in the house, I have to take the medicines as soon as possible. I have left him in the care of aunty, do something Swati, do something.”

Then she made her face very sad and her eyes became moist. Looking at the chemist, she said in a slightly tearful voice, “We were husband and wife, we both got divorced. You must be thinking that he is so rich and I am so simple and I even got my child treated in a small clinic, what could I do uncle, you see, he is not even concerned that his child is ill, he is still busy on the phone. That is why we got divorced. He is not interested in his child or wife. I called him with great difficulty because my child was missing his father and then my cycle broke down so I took a lift from him. While saying this, she shed a few crocodile tears, which drowned the chemist and also a few customers standing in the shop.

The chemist became so emotional that he handed over the medicines and the bill slip to Swati and said to her, “I am sorry beta, I did not know that you are in such a difficult situation. Never mind, you go and get the money from the car, I will wait for you here.”

Listening to him, Swati said in her mind, “Sorry uncle, I know I am doing wrong, I should not do this because after I leave, you will never trust any girl again. But what could I do, I am helpless, my child is ill. If I go home and bring back the money and then go to get the medicines, it will take a lot of time. But I promise that I will bring you your full money tomorrow and will also apologize from the bottom of my heart.  ”

Then she said to the chemist, “Thank you uncle, may God grant that there are people like you all over the world, then everyone will help girls. Thank you so much.” Saying this Swati took the medicines and turned to go out of the shop.

Then she saw that Shivaay was crossing the road and coming towards the shop. Seeing him, the chemist said, “Hey beta, your ex-husband is coming here, he will pay the money.”

Swati quickly said, “No uncle, I know my ex-husband very well, he must be coming to get some of his stuff. He will not even talk about medicines. Don’t worry about me, I will pay for my child’s medicine myself.” Saying this, she quickly left the shop.

She came out and at the same time crossed Shivaay and went ahead to the other side of the road. Swati is not very beautiful to look at, she is an average girl but her features and her style were such that everyone would definitely look back at her once and even Shivaay could not escape from her style.

Shivaay also could not stop himself from looking back at her once and then went inside the shop. When the chemist looked from inside the shop, Swati was going towards the car.

Shivaay came and stood in front of him. Before Shivaay could say anything, the chemist said angrily, “You have come here to pay for the medicines.”

“What medicines? I have not come here to take medicines, then why should I pay for them?”, Shivaay said in surprise, which made the chemist even angrier.

He said angrily at Shivaay, “What kind of a husband are you, your wife is raising your child alone and you are the one who cannot even pay for his medicines. It is boys like you who marry simple girls and then when you don’t have time, you leave them. Hey, when you love money and your work so much, then why do you people get married?”

The chemist was speaking to Shivaay in a loud voice and Shivaay was staring at him wide-eyed in surprise and not understanding and some people standing in the shop were also staring at Shivaay with strange eyes.

Shivaay looked here and there and said to the chemist, "Ohh hello mister what are you talking about and where did my wife and my child come from? I am not married yet."

" Beta, you are grown up so much and you are lying. I also heard how that poor girl was sad and now you are denying the existence of your wife and child. I agree that you are divorced but the child is yours, right?", a woman standing there said explaining to Shivaay.

"Okay, now I am also divorced.", Shivaay said laughing. All their talks were going over his head and now if he had stood there for a little longer, he would have gone mad.

He folded his hands in front of the chemist and said, "I made a mistake by stepping into this shop. I don't know what kind of medicine shop this is? When did I get married, who is my wife, please tell me too."

"The same girl who has just left from here to go to your car to take the money." Saying this, the chemist pointed towards his car and Shivaay and the chemist saw that there was no girl there.

Swati had disappeared from there long ago. Shivaay stared at the chemist and said, "Where is my unknown wife, please tell me. There is no girl there."

The shopkeeper quickly came out of the shop and started looking here and there and said in a panic, "Oh, that girl, where did she go? She took all my medicines and did not even pay the money. She lied to me. She looked so innocent and said such things which I believed to be true, but that girl fooled me and went away."

Just then Shivaay put his hand on his shoulder from behind and the chemist turned. Shivaay said to him, "Were you fooled or were you people fooling me? You did not want to extort money from me by saying such things."

“ Sir, what are you saying? Why would I extort money? My shop is also here. The girl said that you are her husband and you were always busy with your work, you never paid attention to her and your child, that is why she divorced you.”

“ And you got convinced by her words.” Shivaay said shaking his hand and then going out of the shop said, “ If three or four more such shops open in the city, thieves will be in for a treat. They will not have to work hard to steal.” Saying this, Shivaay left from there.

If their misunderstanding had not been cleared, they was really going to beat him today. Anyway, the public of Mumbai is like this, they ask later and get beaten first. They are not concerned about what the person getting beaten thinks of them or what wrong he has done, they just clean their hands and leave.

Remembering all those things, Shivaay kept staring at Swati and Swati too was thinking about yesterday's events. She was looking at him pitifully.

She told Shivaay, "Look, I had no intention of fooling that shopkeeper, but in a hurry I forgot to bring the money and the phone, so I had to use this trick, but the next day I paid the shopkeeper for the medicine and also said sorry and cleared all the misunderstandings. I am sorry to you too, please forgive me."

"Oh really, the insult I have suffered will be rectified by your one sorry. Hey, if I had not cleared the misunderstanding, if I had sat quietly for even 2 minutes, then all the people standing there would have definitely slapped me and you are saying sorry to me.", he said clapping while taking two steps back.

"Now if I don't say sorry for your apology, what else should I do? Apology is asked only by saying sorry.", Swati said making a face.

Then Shivaay started coming a step closer to her, Swati turned his face and said, “If you want to talk, do it from a distance and you are standing shirtless in front of such an unknown girl, don’t you feel ashamed?”

“Hey, where are you strangers? You know my name and I know your name, so we turn out to be acquaintances.”

“Look, if you misbehave, I will shout and call everyone.” Swati said pointing her finger at him, then Shivaay smiled and closed his hands and said, “Go and call, shout loudly, but unfortunately your voice will not go out of the room. The room is sound proof, right?  ”

" What did you say, this room is sound proof. If I scream, my voice will not go out. Then why did you bring me to such a room? You should have taken me to that room where my screaming would have been beneficial. Now what else can I do other than screaming?", saying this Swati got scared.

She looked here and there and then her eyes fell on the vase kept on the table beside her. Shivaay also saw her eyes and he moved forward to pick up the vase but Swati had already picked up that vase.

She turned the vase towards Shivaay and said, " Look, now if you come close to me, I swear I will break this on your head. After that if you die, then it is neither my responsibility nor my fault. Anyway, you have brought me to your room, that too without my consent. I will tell everyone, you were trying to force yourself on me, you were misbehaving, that's why I killed you."

Swati fearlessly looked into his eyes without any fear. Swati was threatening him and Shivaay was looking at her with surprise. He had never seen such a girl before.
