Chapter 31

Bowling

The Scomiche Chronicles

A/N: a double because it's my birthday today and the fact that this book reached a thousand reads. I wasn't expecting this book to get a thousand reads at all. I never thought that this book would get seen at all, but the fact that people read it makes me so happy. Thank you guys so much for reading and voting. I love you guys so much. Also this one is pretty cliche

I was at a bowling place with Jake, Mario, Ben and Mitch. We were hanging out since it had been a while since we all hungout. I was sitting with Jake, just casually chatting with him when I noticed Mitch walking up to the bowling lane and try to bowl and fail at it. He'd get so adorably pouty and upset when he'd end up getting a gutter ball. "Scott" Jake said, trying to get my attention.

He turned around to see what I was so interested in. "Mitch again?" Jake asked. I nodded my head. "He's just being so adorable right now." I tell him, watching as he got yet another gutter ball and pouted about it. "Man up and make a move." Jake advised. "If you don't, you'll have lost an opportunity on something wonderful, and you'd end up wondering what could have been." Jake's words made sense. I'd try to make a move on him. But how?  I saw Mitch still struggling with bowling and had an idea.

I walked over to him and pulled his back towards my front and wrapped my arm around his waist. He jumped but relaxed when he realized that it was me. "Hey Melissa. Need some help?" I asked him.  He nodded his head. I kept holding his waist and used my other hand to draw his hand that was holding ball back.  "You have to throw it as close to the ground as you can. Make sure to aim straight." I instructed him. He shot me an incredulous look. "When has anything I've ever done has been straight?" He sassed. I chuckled at him and and help him throw the ball.

He watched the ball rolling down the lane and hit almost all of the pins. He turned in my arms and squealed. "Scotty I did it!! Did you see that?" I awwed at his excitement and adorableness. "I did. You did a good job." I praised him. He smiled at me and in that moment I realized how close we were. I could see his eyes flicker between my lips and my eyes. He chewed on his lip, making me focus on them. I plucked up the courage, leaned in and kissed him.

He gasped into the kiss, surprised, but he still kissed back. The kiss lasted a brief moment and would have lasted longer had it not been for our friends who had seen us and we're now whistling and cheering for us.  We broke away from the kiss, blushing and staring at each other. "What was that for?" Mitch asked, touching his lips as though he couldn't believe what just happened.

I blushed. "You were just being so fcute and distracting me and driving me crazy by biting your lips, that I needed to kiss you." I said staring deep into his eyes. "We need to talk about this. Not talk in a bad way, but how this will change things." Mitch reasoned. I agreed with him. We needed to know where we stood, what we wanted, and how to move on. I turned to walk back to my seat, but Mitch called me back. "Scott? I think I still need some help with bowling. Please help?"

I looked back to my friends, who'd occupied themselves with each other and nodded. The rest of the time Mitch and I occupied ourselves with bowling, and the occasional kissing. Overall we had a good time.

A/N: Lame ending. I know. I heard Hurry up and it's soooooo good. What songs are you excited for on Pt 2? One Goodbye From Lonely sounds so sad. But I'm excited for it and all the songs
