Chapter 26

Stolen glances

| November 5th | Friday |

Today is mine and Samantha's date and I'm so nervous! It's nearly 6pm and I'm currntly on my way to Sam's place and I can barely hold the steering wheel. My hands are shaking like crazy.

Sam has no idea what we're going to do, since I want it to be a surprise.

I'm wearing dark green cargo pants and a white top with a short sleeved black button up over it. I'm also wearing some rings as accessories.

While I have the ring in my pocket I have I have a bouquet with lily's in my hand.

I get out of my car and quickly walk over to the front door, ringing the doorbell. After a few seconds of wait the door opens and I'm face to face with Samantha's mother, Dalia. A big smile appears on her face. "Hey! Samantha will be downstairs in a minute." She tells me while mentioning me to step inside. "You look great, by the way. And the flowers, beautiful." She adds and I smile embarrassedly. "Thanks."

"Nervous?" Dalia asks excitedly and I nod immediately, breathing out nervously. "Very." I breathe out with a shaky voice. I suddenly hear the door to Samantha's room open, which makes me look at it instantly. When Sam walks out and downstairs I'm lost for words. My jaw is dropped and my eyes are widened. "You're drooling." Sam comments teasingly but I'm far too stunned to say something back.

Damn, she looks so stunning.

"You look..wow." Was all I managed to get out, making Samantha chuckle softly. "Thank you, baby." She replies with a smile before leaning up to gently kiss me. I'm still a little taken back but slightly calm down after the kiss. "For you." I say shyly as I lift up the flowers to her. Sam's eyes slightly widen and then soften. "Aww, that's so sweet, thank you!" Samantha mumbles with a big smile and I hand her them, smiling from ear to ear.

"Have fun, you two." Dalia tells us with a smile before leaving to go into the living room. "Ready to go?" I ask as I turn back to Sam and she nods while putting on her coat. "Oh, just let me put the flowers into water." She adds before quickly leaving and coming back a few seconds later. "Okay, ready." So I open the door for her and then lead her to my car. We get inside and I start driving.

"So..where are we going?" Sam asks curiously, which makes me laugh. "I'm not telling you, it's a surprise." I tell her but she only groans at that. "Aww, come on, please! At least give me a hint!" She whiners while placing her hands on my thigh, giving it a squeeze. I then stop at a red light, so I turn to face her. "Okay, the hint is..you're going to love it." I answer as I lean closer to her with a smirk. On that she rolls her eyes and groans again, making me snort.

So I lean in to bite her neck, which makes her gasps. "You're lucky you're super hot when you're annoyed." I whisper into her ear and then leave another few kisses on her neck before pulling away. Just then I'm face to face with Sam's red face. I can't help but snort at her face. "Shut up!" Samantha exclaims embarrassedly while hitting my arm. I just laugh while starting to drive again.

"Is this place like- very public?" She asks after a few minutes. I shrug. "I guess so, yeah. Why?" I respond but then slowly realize why she's asking. "I know we haven't been like- very out with our relationship but if someone sees us we can just tell them we're just hanging out." I reassure her quickly but she immediately shakes her head. "No, I want everyone to know this is a date." She tells me, making me smile widely.

While we have been pretty flirty and touchy since school started again we are still a little nervous. Not to mention it's my first relationship and her first good one. So it's a little nerve wracking.

I have to bite my lip to stop myself from smiling like an idiot. "Well..my family and friend and your family knows we're dating, so I guess we don't have to hide it anymore, right?" Sam says slowly and I crack a smile at that. "But only if you're okay with it, of course." She adds and I chuckle softly while placing my right hand on her thigh. "Of course I'm okay with that, I'd love to." I answer softly and she starts to smile widely at that. "Awesome!" She exclaims while leaning over to kiss my cheek.

Just then we arrive at the restaurant and I park my car at the parking lot right in front of it. "Holy shit, are you serious?!" Sam exclaims excitedly, her eyes widen in both shock and excitement. She turns to me with a big grin and I nod. "This is the best first date ever!" She groans happily before cupping my cheeks and pressing her lips against mine. "It hasn't even really started yet." I chuckle but only ear a punch at that.

"Let's go inside!" She adds while quickly getting out of the car and I follow her. I chuckle. "After you."
