dotty's pov

sherri started all of a sudden giggling at something over my shoulder. "what?" i questioned, not meaning to sound harsh. she didn't reply but pulled her phone out of her pocket and started recording, making my curiosity grow, so i turned my attention to where her's was. i was met with jame and trevor holding hands, skipping towards us.

"we got your things" trevor threw the paper bag to me as he and jamie let go of each other.

"did you look in the bag?" i asked, hoping he didn't, to which he made a face.

"what? obviously not" he answered, "what a stupid question" he smiled. oh he definitely looked in the bag. i lightly hit his arm and complained.

"i told you not to look"

"i know i'm only joking with ya" he grinned widely and slung his arm around my shoulders. he handed me my room key back and we started strolling over closer to the sea. only for him and jamie to bolt off into the sunset, heading for the rocks.

me and sherri running after them, the golden sun bouncing off the waves onto our faces. this was my mum lore. whenever my children will ask me in the future, what the best summer of my life was, this would be my answer, i'll show them the pictures. running up and down sunset washed beaches with my best friend, my sister. chasing after two boys we had met only a couple days prior. dancing in clubs with them. eating coffee ice cream. going in small boutique shops. taking photos on tiny digital cameras that will never get developed. after tomorrow i don't think there will be a chance of seeing them again. ri and i will be in englnd, in with piles of uni and college essays infecting our minds, whilst they'd be halfway across the world, playing a sport they'd die for.

for who knew if we were going to see them again. it was extremely bittersweet. we held each other tightly, feeling the  weight of our fleeting connection, knowing deep down that our paths diverged after this holiday. we would have to deal with that. unspoken sorrow lingered in the salty air, a shared sentiment between us and the players. hidden beneath smiles and casual goodbyes.

a/n                                                                                                                                                                                                  so guys. first of all hey. second of all I AM SO SORRY I AM SO INACTIVE ON WATTPAD. i deleted it and have now come back. well only to finish this bc it was a burden. i felt so bad for all of you waiting and yearning for more when i literally couldn't be bothered to finish this. if i'm being honest life is super rn. like this summer is lit. but i have exams in the coming school year and will be revising HEAVILY because i refuse to retake any subjects xxxxxxxx

anyway i am very bittersweet about the ending of yes to heaven. however i have no clue what went through my mind when coming up with this. i am QUESTIONING my thought process likeee. why would 2 extremely wealthy hockey players be at an all inclusive??? i'm not dissing all inclusives i just think they would NOT be the type of people to go abroad there. also whilst reading over the whole book why is the writing so bad?? like it was painful to read.

overall i really hope i don't disappoint you all with the ending, i honestly had no clue how i was going to end the ff which is why i held it off for so long. i feel that realistically the boys wouldn't stay in touch with the girls , but you can imagine whatever you like!!

i honestly can't say thank you enough to the people who've voted for every single chapter. like that's crazy i wasn't expecting that when i started writing this.

thank you so much
