OMKAR

Her lips moved against mine in a swift motion and immediately I was drifted to a different world. It wasn't a urgent kiss, it was smooth, slow and a needy one. It made me feel how much she wanted to calm me down. It was her way of saying...

'Its ok baby I'm with you' and indeed it felt soothingly better.

There was so much happening within me since this morning. First Panchami and then Sunil. I had been avoiding Panchami's calls since last 3 days but today she appeared in the office and I had to set things right. This time I wasn't going to fall for her crocodile tears and let go off the hardwork my wife and her team has been doing since months. Above all there was no mercy for someone who almost ruined my family. It took me years to forgive myself, forgiving her wasn't within my reach. However the most I could do to her was stay respectful and let her leave gracefully from my office.

And Sunil!!! I had everything digged about him by Pasha the day I saw him flashing his teeth to Mukta and she looking uncomfortable. He was that bloody ex of hers who left her waiting a night before the engagement ceremony. He simply ran away. The reason in the first place why Mukta's father had to take the loan from Sarpanch when Phulvaspura flooded because Mukta's father invested all that he had in organising the engagement ceremony which never took place. It could be a small amount for my family but for a middle class man organizing a decent meal for the village, arranging gifts and decorations and then the groom doesn't turn up is the worst of nightmares. But Mukta never complained. He is now divorced and probably eying my babygirl. He had to be shown his rightful place which I gladly did!!!

My thoughts were broken when I felt her fingers on the nape of my neck pulling me more into the sweet kiss. I was drowning into her. My hands automatically slipped under his tshirt feeling her soft and tender skin. The waist chain with pearls were my all time favorite. I would buy many more of them for her. I played with the little pearls which ran across her belly button and probably it tickled her because I felt her smile through the kiss and I felt happier. I hovered completely upon her and took over her mouth more aggressively and posesively and she let me devour her.

Her fingers slowly ruffled through my hair massaging my scalp relaxing me more and more and although I tried I couldn't manage more so I completely threw myself on her. She let a 'Ummmph' sound from her mouth while I pulled out of the kiss and saw her face while she whispered...

'Ummmm you are heavy Om...' and I smirked saying...

'Get used to it!!!' to which in return she pulled me into a comforting hug. I began showering kisses on her neck and shoulders while she asked...'Did I ruin your sleep?' and I smiled saying...'If for being in your arms...I would not even mind woken up from hell!!!' and she giggled saying 'My demon!!!' and I kissed her neckline more and said 'Indeed yours!!!' and she slowly patted my shoulders while I felt a comforting feeling. This was heaven. I would never want to be away from her. Ever!!!

'I will always keep you safe my babygirl!!! I promise' I whispered to which she only hummed and buried her face into my neck and I slowly digged into her chest and somehow the warmth of her chest made me fall deep asleep. I didn't even realise when darkness engulfed me.

When I opened my eyes I noticed she wasn't anywhere in the room. I quickly woke up and began walking around only to notice Pattu, Rudra and Jannu Anna...all three standing in a line. It looked like a teacher was about to punish little kindergarten kids. And then it was just 7 am in the morning.

'What's happening?' I asked in my half sleepy voice. When Pattu tried hiding behind Rudra.

And Mukta showed me the removed fuse of the electric box and I was shocked.

'This happened!!!' she said keeping hands on her waist.

'What the??? And we have been sweating all night... what the hell guys!!! Did you guys do this???' I asked and Rudra looked down and nodded.

'Janna you too?' I asked and he tried to explain when Mukta said...

'And this this Pattu girl was the ghost last night... remember I told you I saw a dark figure...it was her!!!'

I was shocked but Pattu was quick...

'Hannn ok Shizuka Vanni I even made maggi for you both ok...and why do you forget even I and Rudra slept in the dark on last night!!!

'And why did you put everyone through this pain?' I asked and this time Mukta answered...

'Because they wanted to play cupids!!! Dumbos!!!' and that's when it all striked.

But Pattu the big mouth spoke up...

'Yeah...so what... just one trick and you both woke up like a happy couple today morning unlike those broken good mornings today there's genuinely a happy smile on your faces...so I don't care...even if you wanna punish...I'm all in for it!!! We are proud cupids!!!' she said folding her hands against her chest.

And here Mukta and I were speechless.

'Ummm....I....I have to prep for a meeting, I am leaving to office' saying Mukta quickly picked her bag and began running away while I called out...

'Wait!!!' and she stopped on her tracks.

I went and quickly checked took some fresh fruits and nuts and put it in some glasswares and put it in her bag. She went onto say something when I kept a finger on her lips and she looked at me with wide eyes.

I bent more into her and said...

'The cafeteria opens only after 8:30 am. It's only 7:00 now. And I know how you work. Eat them and don't stay hungry ok?' I asked and she smiled. I slowly bent a little and kissed her forehead and in return she kissed my neck.

'I love you...and our conversations are not over yet!!! We will talk!!!' I said and she turned a shade of darker pink and I loved it.

It was indeed the most beautiful morning ever.

MUKTA

He kissed me on my forehead and I don't know why I kissed his neck for easy access. He packed tiffin for me for the first time. It's always me otherwise. His warmth was the most beautiful thing I ever experienced and when he said our conversations weren't over yet, I felt a thousand butterflies all over in my stomach.

Although I was pissed when today morning I heard Pattu, Rudra and Jannu Anna laughing over last night, I was pissed off but right now when I recall...It gave me and Omkar a beautiful date. It could be the most unconventional one yet the most beautiful one indeed. Last night we spoke to each other like a real couple does. Our hearts melted for each other. Last night we gave each other an opportunity. It actually made me feel we both could work out. I felt like he was my another piece. My soul mate. And it's all thanks to these three monkeys. Even right now they were staring at me giving all coy looks hiding their smiles. Indeed they are huge #OMukta shippers!!! LOL!

I slowly kept a hand on Om's bare chest and said...

'Dont take their class... they gave us our most beautiful night!' I smiled and suddenly I see a twinkle in his eyes when he said...

'I know...I won't complain...but it's just that I would have been happier if they atleast switched on the electricity in midnight!!!' while I chuckled. But then he bent closer to my earlobes and whispered...

'And remember!!! Our most beautiful night is yet to come! And believe me you'll see stars that night!!! Practically!!!' he said emphasizing the last word with a wink only for me to realise it's internal meaning and I slapped his chest. He was shameless. I ran from there. I was getting late for the meeting I was going to have with Sunil's team in morning. I got a message from an unknown number today morning and then it was Sunil who requested if we could have this meeting today morning because he was planning to take a half day off today. So I quickly dropped Poonam a message who said she would not be able to make it at 8 am, so I decided to represent the team.

I reached office only to notice there was no one at office. Not even the security guard. I swiped in and entered the office and began dialling the number from which I got a message and my call was been disconnected. Then I see a message saying 'Meeting room No. 302'. I was confused.

I walked in and I saw Sunil was sitting on the other corner of the room on the leather chair and his back was facing me. I called out his name but he didn't respond. So I walked closer to him and then when the chair turned around I felt my world spinning infront of my eyes.

And the face infront of me brought shivers down my spine and then I hear...

'Welcome back my runaway beauty!!!' and I took a step back. He was my biggest nightmare. I didn't ever want to see him in my life but here he was inside my office.

Harry!!!

'Why are you here???' I asked in my shaky voice and he said...

'Its payback time bitch!!! I'm here to complete the deal which cost me my business!!! You thought you and your silly husband could destroy me, my lifetimes hardwork and I will spare you? Huhhh I have been running away from police and your husband's people from months now like a bloody rogue. They want me dead or alive! You bitch you destroyed it all. And I am not sparing you. I don't care if I am getting published after this but you deserve to be punished!!!' he said and began approaching closer while my insides shivered. Those memories were still fresh. The way he beat me up, the way he jumped over me like an animal...I will never let him do it again to me. Never!!!

And I slowly put hands inside my bag trying to find the first thing and I get the glass box which Om packed me fruits today morning and without waiting in one go I bang it on his head and he holds his head and screams loudly. Although not too impactful I made a small mark on his forehead where he began bleeding from...

'You bitch!!! I'll not spare you this time' saying he comes towards me and I try running outside the meeting room screaming and begging for help but there was no one. I didn't know where to go what to do I kept running while he kept following me but to save myself I ran into Om's cabin and hid under the table while I heard Harry...

'Silly girl...you think I can't find you...Gotchaaaaaa' he said and dragged me out via my legs and before I could say a word he smashed my head onto the wall and next second I could feel my head aching badly and then I feel red liquid fall off my face. In the meantime he drags me in the centre of the room and unbuckles his pant and although my head was spinning I couldn't let him do that. I did my standard move. I kicked him in the balls but he held my leg and twisted it. I cried in pain. I couldn't move now and the next thing I felt was him hovering over me like an animal. I cried and screamed loudly. I felt that animal trying to tear through my clothes while I could hardly open my eyes.

My thoughts went back to what Om said to me last night...

I will always keep you safe my babygirl!!! I promise!!!

And when I felt him trying to slide down my pants I screamed his name loudly...

'Om.........Omkarrrrrr!!!'

And just when I thought it's over I felt someone dragging his weight off my body. And I am shocked to see Poonam, Sunil and Omkar. Poonam and Sunil tried to lift me up. Poonam took out her Dupatta and covered me with that while Sunil helped me sit up.

And then my eyes fell over Omkar...he was thrashing the hell out of the man right now. I could hardly stay awake but I could see his raging eyes. It's like something inhuman possessed him.

RUDRA

We were at the breakfast table eating our breakfast when my brother got a call from someone and he was shocked. He was so angry that he literally smashed the juice glass which was in his hand. I coud hear a grunting voice from his chest. He didn't even wait for anyone and quickly ran from there. I was scared to see Anna so angry so I didn't wait and followed him.

He was so quick that I couldn't match his speed. He took his bike and was driving through like his life was dependent upon it. I lost him through the traffic but the direction he was going was towards Patty's. And that's when it striked me it was something to do with Patty's.

Did the office catch fire??? Did something???

Wait a minute!!!

Mukta Vanni!!! Freak!!!

And without even knowing what the matter was first things first I called up for an ambulance. I knew it could be just an intuition but I somehow wanted to keep it as backup if there was a medical emergency.

Finally I reached Patty's only to find a good crowd inside the office floor. Everyone was watching it all like a movie. I saw the office crowd including Panchami who was shocked too. I didn't want to even spare her a look and honestly didn't even care why the hell was she here. I stepped in only to see my brother thrashing a man with all his energy. The man was bleeding from his mouth and head and even then my brother kept kicking him so he could vomit blood. My brother was a monster when he was raged and then I see Mukta Vanni in another corner. Her head was bleeding and she was covered with a dupatta and that's when it striked me. The bastard attempted to touch her inappropriately.

But my brother would kill the man and seeing his anger no one dared to go closer to him. My brother was literally choking the man's neck under his boots. Everyone was fearing to go near my brother because right now he was an angry lion. Indeed Omkar for a reason. He could destroy anyone when he was enraged and this man tried to attack his wife's dignity.

But I had to stop my brother from killing him. So I ran and began pulling Anna back, he pushed me away but somehow I managed to pull him back saying...

'Anna please...Vanni needs you please!!!' and the minute he hears about Vanni he turned around and looked at Vanni who was bleeding badly and he screamed.

'What the hell??? What are you guys doing here??? She's bleeding you fools...Someone call the doctor... baby girl.... listen Sweetheart...can you hear me .. babygirl!!! Muktaaaaa' he was crying and screaming in pain.

He lifted her off in his arms while he himself sat on a chair and put her on his lap. He hugged her to his chest calling her out again and again. Someone got the first aid box but my brother was quick to pull it his hand and began cleaning her wound trying to give her a first aid. No one even went closer to them. Everyone was petrified by my brothers anger right now.

'Muktaaaa... baby...there is so much for us to talk .. remember our conversations are not over yet... open your eyes wifey!!! Open your got damn eyes Muktaaaaa' he screamed in her face while suddenly the entire office crowd looked shocked. Some closed their mouths with their palms, some had their eyes wide open and even Panchami spoke up at once 'Wife??? O.K is married???'

And the secret was out.

She was no longer this

For the first time ever I was scared for him.

In no time ambulance came in and tried to take her in the stretcher, But there lied Vanni in Anna's arms lifeless and my brother kept rocking her to his chest cleaning her wounds. Her tiny frame on his huge one looked like a divine one yet painful.

It was like Lord Shiva carried his Goddess Parvati in his arms after goddess jumped into the holy pyre. My brother was rocking an already unconscious wife of his to sleep who was practically lifeless in his arms and kept asking his everyone to shush.

He kept repeating...

'Shhhh... she's sleeping!!!' and my tears weren't stopping. His arms, hand, sleevless tshirt were all red with Vanni's blood while his eyes were red in anger yet pouring tears nonstop. He wasn't letting her go. Indeed he loved Vanni more than his own life.

I slowly comforted my brother asking him to take her to the ambulance so she would be fine, he kept looking at me and finally nodded but he insisted to be sitting with Vanni in the ambulance.

In no time we were all at the hospital. Doctor had checked upon Vanni and confirmed she had excessive bleeding and also had a blood clot they cannot guarantee anything although they performed a surgery to remove the blood clot.

Next 24 hours were critical.
