MUKTA

I served breakfast to Pattu and Rudra Dada who was in a hurry to leave to office and Pattu was still grumpy. Her morning sickness kicks in making it really tough for her to eat anything so I tried to make her eat some light food. I made some sabudana khichdi and some made her drink a glass of milk post which I patted her to go to sleep. She is a baby, this pregnancy is really giving her a lot of cravings at the same time even the smell of boiled rice made her vomit. We prefered to keep her away from kitchen. But then what surprised me was Omkar hadn't joined in for breakfast. Then it striked me...it was I who asked him not to be on this floor. Such a fool I am.

Jannu Anna had gone to get Pattu's medicines and Rudra Dada left to office, so now I had no other choice other than going to his room personally. So I walked in to his room. The door was already left ajar, so I slightly pushed it and it swung open. I looked for him but he wasn't visible anywhere, I was expecting Mr Demon to be going all exercise mode on knowing what a fitness freak he is...It's like he eats like a pig but burns out like a wolf!!!

But then to my surprise he wasn't seen anywhere and then my eyes fell on the couch. I couldn't help but chuckle. This 6.5ft demon was lying on the small couch all congested with a cute pout holding a file close to his chest. I smiled and went towards him. I couldn't help but admire him. He was a handsome man with a baby like smile. He looked adorable with that pout right now. I couldn't take my eyes off him.

Wait a minute!!!

But look at that cute baby face and if he was working last night then definitely he has worked till early morning.

No I can't wake him up. He needs sleep.

I was about to walk away from him while my eyes fell on the file in his hand, I slowly tried to take that file away, he relaxed a bit. I went and got a pillow for him and tried to tuck it under his head but that's when he pulled me into him in one go by my waist and I landed straight on his stomach.

I was annoyed but then he was still with his eyes closed however his grip on my waist was tighter. I thought he was doing all this in his sleep so I tried to get off his grip but in one go he sits up straight pulling me right onto his lap.

And I gasp!!!

His messed up long hair and his thick beard make him look so sexy right now but to add on was his rough reverberating voice...

'BabyGirl....hmmmm... what a good morning this is' saying he presses his face into my chest leaving me stumped. I didn't know how to react. My voice died in my throat while he whispers...

'How I wish this dream comes true... everyday morning I pull you into my lap, you mother me like this and I worship you with my kisses...gosh I love your fragrance... What perfume this is...I miss this...I miss you at Nayak's babygirl...join me back there...the greenhouse project needs you ..your team needs you...I need you... but you are so stubborn...so hey Although I don't understand head and tail about skin products I am your CEO..I miss you my baby girl...Gosh I love your warmth...I want to crush you in my arms...I wanna hold you so damn tightly like this..hmmmm' saying he tightened his grip on my waist and digged his face into my chest bringing a tingling sensation in my stomach. We were way too cozy right now!!?

'Ummmm Om... Omkar...this...this is not a dream...I am really here' I say and he carelessly digs his face into my chest and leaves wet kisses on my neck erupting goosebumps in my body. My voice dies in my throat but then after he few minutes he pulls out and opens his lazy eyes and looks at my face...for a few seconds only to realise this is not a dream and he jumps in one go and shouts...

'Freakkkk...you are here ..I'm...I'm sorry ..You...I....I mean I thought it's all a dream!!! Freak!!!' saying he pulls his hair and I clear my throat saying...

'Hmmm it's...it's ..' I don't even know if I should say it's ok. He has such wild dreams about me???

While suddenly he takes a step closer and whispers in my ears...

'Dont ask baby girl...my dreams about you are not even close to what you felt just now..this one's subtle... trust me the day you know what your husband is...you will shy at the thought of just being with me...it's all that much I desire you!!!' saying he leaves a soft kiss on my cheek and I scowl...

'Dont you dare!!! I...I came here to say you can come upstairs for food and tv but nothing else!!!' and he smirks saying...

'We will see babygirl!!!'

And I reach the door when I say ...

'And stop day dreaming!!! I am never ever going back to Nayak's!! Find someone else to lead the greenhouse project!' while I suddenly feel a tug on my dupatta and in one go I feel his chest against my back and he whispers in my ears...

'Then I will make sure you will resign from Pattys!!! Because I need my resource back!!!' and my anger shoots high

Then he suddenly walks towards the bathroom while he says...

'And my wife too!!! And mind you I will win them both!!!'

'I won't Omkar...I will not!!!' I scream and suddenly I see him turn around and walk closer to me...

I suddenly begin sweating but then he pulls out that file which he was going through and says ...

'Do you know what this is??? No??? Read it!!!'

Saying he gives me the file. I read it and I'm shocked.

'Jo...Joshi's??? This....this???' I was left speechless seeing what he was planning.

'Our investors are good to invest into your Baba's and your Ayurvedic medicines Mukta...you will have your own brand...Your own organization like Pattu runs hers...you have an issue with my money, Nayak's and our surname involvement right??? Nothing will be involved..it would just be you and your Baba's dreams. All this would be yours Mukta... just join back Nayak's...complete the Greenhouse project...Our investors are happy with your dedication. Earn this for yourself. I had a smile on my face as tears kept flowing down my cheeks...

But then suddenly I remember...This is all because of Omkar. It's a favour and I don't take favours.

'I am not joining Nayak's!!! Neither am I going back to Phulvaspura!' I say in one go and he tries to explain me but I stop him...

'I can find my own route...my own way Mr Nayak..I don't want to be termed a gold digger again' I say but this time he holds my forearm and in one go pins me onto the bed. The next second he climbs upon me... while my heart is in my mouth. What is he planning to do...I shiver at that thought...but next second he digs his face into the crook of my neck and hugs the hell out of me...

'Why are you hurting me so much baby girl...don't do this na... yes I did a mistake...I spoke what I must not have...I am doing everything to get your apology but you don't forgive me... why Mukta...it hurts babygirl...it hurts so much...I love you... I really do' saying he keeps crying on my chest. His face digs more and more into my neck and although he is heavy, crushing me down, pinning me down I can't stop myself from comforting him.

'Om... baby... please shhhhh... stop it... don't cry!!!' I coo him in my chest.

But his cry goes louder and he breaks down like a baby...I coo him more and pull him into a hug by kissing his hair...

'Shhhhh Om...don't...I can't see you like this baby..I love you!!!' and his crying stops!!! My lips part the minute I realise what I just blabbered. In one go I push him away and get up while I feel a tug on my dupatta and I turn around to see Omkar who looks as red as a tomato with all that crying and tears. Yet he had a smile now on his lips.

Damn my tongue!!!

'I love you too babygirl!!! And although I fell weak and vulnerable looks like our love for each other is stronger than your anger towards me...I promise you I will win both my resource and MY WIFE back soon...

There was a killing silence in the meeting room right now.

His ergonomic rolling business chair was the only one that was continuously making a screeching noise and the smirk on his lips was annoying the person who was doing the presentation right now.

'The market research says right now that' and again her concentration was broken by the same screeching noise. Annoyed by it she banged the marker to the table and shot him a look and his smirk added more fire to her bubbling anger.

She knew he was her boss but that didn't give him the right to annoy her!!!

'Sir!!! Will you please stop that...' she said in an irritated tone while everyone in the meeting room were looking at the little rabbit who had finally confronted the 'Demon' himself. ...

Yup!!! That's what the market and his employees termed him as...

DEMON!!!

Because he was one!!!

Hot ... sexy...smart... desirable yet merciless!!!

He was a 6.5 tall 110 kgs weighing giant who could eat his employees raw and wouldn't even burp!!!

While everyone was scared of him...

This time he rolled the chair making more sound and asked with a teasing smile...

'Stop what Miss Joshi...' he asked and she wanted to wipe off the smirk that was playing on and off on his face. It fuelled her anger more and he was enjoying it while she was loosing her head.

'Well I think our CEO has better job to do and wouldn't need to attend a petty presentation of a petty employee...This is way too small for your lavish post and I'm sure you have more important work to do than attending this presentation... correct me if I'm wrong S...ir!!!' she said insulting him directly infront of everyone and he shot a look filled with fire and rage.

'Well in that case I think if your presentation didn't impress me yet it would definitely not impress our clients...so you know what..let's not waste my employee's time...the presentation is over folks... back to work' he said standing up and she was shocked.

He smirked again and her eyes filled with tears. It pricked him. Although he was a living demon he couldn't see tears in her eyes.

Everyone left leaving her and him in the room. He got up from his chair and tied his hair into a pony tail and walked closer to her. She was collecting her files in a jiffy as she noted him coming closer to her.

Fear engulfed her as he was approaching her. But still trying to put up a brave face she collected all her belongings and was about to leave when she felt a hot breath close her ears...

'I told you...QUIT!!! But you are adamant!!! I promise you...you won't survive longer here...

Because O.K is never O.K with what he doesn't like!!! Get it???'

he said but her wild floral fragrance like always made him close his eyes and take a deep breath.

He found that is intoxicating. He was never the three piece suit types...he was a man of the wild...he loved jungles, trekking, camping and was a loner. Wild fragrances attracted him a lot and here this one who wore it was a wild berry herself.

She was a rare and in the last 4 months of them being with each other he had surely known that but she was tough. Stubborn and his ego couldn't handle such a tough one.

But his soul couldn't resist her.

'I am not a quitter Sir!!! I won't give up!!!' she said and he smirked saying...

'Good for you...I don't really want you to...' his hot breath was too close to her lips and their lips were inches away...she was shuddering at his proximity...

'Si...Sir ....pa ..Please' she said trying to move away but his huge palms caught hold on her waist in one go and half of her waist was in his palms.

He was always too huge for her.

'Leave Mangalore and go back to your Village Mukta... You don't want to complicate this do you' he asked and his lips still approached closer to her...

She closed her eyes as their noses touched but to his surprise she mumbled...

'No....I won't'

And he was shocked!!!

It was not the first time someone said no to him!!!

But ofcourse she was the only one who said 'No' to him!!!

'Well then be ready for the consequences Miss Mukta Joshi or shall I say...

Mrs Mukta Omkar Nayak!!!' he announced and she shivered at his manly intimidating voice.
