'Kaya...I hope it's fine..I mean I just got her without any intimation'

'Oh comeon O.K...this is your property!!! And I'm your friend!' she said and I nodded a no and held her hands saying...

'Its not about my property...this is your home Kaya...and you are my oldest friend...I...I didnt feel like letting her stay in a hotel... she doesn't know anything about Mangalore...she has to go to this organisation too which is new to her...and I just didn't feel like...I mean...look at her yaar Kaya... she's so innocent...I just want her to be'

'Safe!!! I know O.K...relax!!! And she will be good here... believe me...and you don't have to worry I will take care of her...you go home...it's pretty late...' Kaya said after hugging me and I smiled saying a thank you to her...

Kaya my college mate, who was also one of the girls into whose project's I initially invested but it didn't work out... Her business was undergoing losses so I offered her my home to stay. I couldn't invest more money into her business as I'm ethical when it comes to work but as a friend I could let her stay. Kaya was hence staying here on and off. With staying here and travelling for her business. So when I thought about Mukta this is the only place I could think of bringing her at this nth hour. I knew she will be safe here.

Slowly I went towards her who was sitting in the living area on the sofa with her luggage. She looked nervous as she kept playing with the loose ends of her long hair.

'Mukta...' I called her out she stood up at once and said...'Omkar...I think it's ok...I ...I don't feel like...I mean I don't even'

In one go I put my hands on her shoulders and said...'Calm down...look!!! Kaya is a great lady...she will help you settle down... and the rest here...this is my number...you can reach me anytime.. I have already sent you insta request...you can ping me there too... just relax and here...' I forwarded my hand wishing her...she smiled and joined in a handshake while a wierd tingling sensation happened in my body. I didn't want to let her go anywhere... I could feel she didn't want to let me go too as I felt her grip on my hand but then I couldn't take her home.

Definitely not after the phonecall I received from mom where she sent me 5 photographs of girls. She had begun the bride hunt for me and I couldn't risk my life showing Mukta to them and God forbidden they get to know I'm married to her although in a wierd way I can't even predict their reactions. So I had no second thoughts before leaving her here.

I slowly moved out of the house when I turned around and my eyes fell on the retreating figure along with Kaya. Her back was slumped and she took slow steps. A sudden feeling of something being lost .. something being away from me...I don't know why I didn't feel good but then I chucked away all the negative thoughts out of my mind and went home.

I had enough family drama to handle once back home.

Amma (mom) welcomed me with open arms while Anu (dad) rolled his eyes seeing mom feeding me idli vada, masala dosa, kashi halwa. But I don't know why I wasn't too hungry today. Unlike other days I ate only 6-7 idlis, 2 masala dosa and 1 cup of Kashi Halwa and my mother was shocked.

It's probably the least food I ate since my childhood days.

'Om...I know what are you worried about?' she said and my face went pale!!!

Some relative??? Konkanis and Panchadik (gossip) travels at the speed of light...

I was extremely nervous but then she said...

'I know you are worried about Rudra and Prarthana na? Don't worry son...I know our Rudra will definitely bring my daughter in law back home before Shivansh's wedding...wait and watch' she said and I smiled.

Although I was worried for my brother Rudra who was currently in a messed up marriage. He was in love with Prarthana his wife however being the confused soul he was, he never accepted his emotions for her and ended up doing stupidities leading Pattu aka Prarthana leave, Pattu who is also my business partner at Patty's and is also an employee in my father's organization was the one he was planning to woo back. Basically he was on a mission impossible but he was a smitten boy hellbent to find his love again.

'Destiny Tied us in a knot!!!' bro I will win her back!!!' Rudra told me before I left to Phulvaspura but who knew I would be back to Mangalore with a secret that I had to hide from everyone. The office called me demon and now Demon's Secret Wife had to be hidden from the world.

2 weeks have passed!!!

I am not at peace!!! I don't know why I'm unable to get rid of her thoughts. I hate women but I was unable to forget that slumped retreated back...her sad face, her tight grip in that handshake... I am not happy but now that this feeling is increasing inside me I want to keep her away from me...

Remember O.K women are dangerous!!! Stay away from them!!! Remember Panchami was also innocent only until the initial days and then...

But why was she trying to call me so many times last night???

She didn't sound too happy when I spoke last to her!!!' my brain recalled...

But what worried me now was her phone was not reachable!!!

Why is she not picking my call? Is she ok??? This has never happened before!!!

Shutup!!! You are overthinking!!! Stop overthinking O.K. All is well!!! Look around you everything is a happy space. Rudra and Prarthana have resolved their differences. Remember your brother...your youngest...your Shivansh is getting married day after tomorrow... tonight is his and Sanskriti's bachelor's-bachelorette party. There is love everywhere... happiness everywhere...Just stop overthinking!!!

Why was her phone not reachable???

Something didn't feel right while I kept sipping my beer sitting alone... while Manisha took a seat next to me...

Manisha is my colleague...she is also handling the Gujrat Diamonds export project which is one of the most important projects for Nayak's. Nayak's is my family business. Other than being an independent investor in multiple organisations I am also the CEO of Nayak's which was earlier handled by my brother Rudra. Manisha seems to be a quite girl who seems to be always around me. She is sweet to me yet gives me some creepy vibes as she keeps staring at me at times however she's harmless otherwise so I just ignore her advancements. She kept talking about random topics giving me a headache while I needed peace and my eyes fell on a dancing Rudra and Prarthana while Pattu...aka Prarthana kept passing me smiles. She was that sister which god gifted me in form of a sister in law. I was more than happy being her older brother.

Shivansh and Sanskriti looked lost in each other's arms making me feel how lonely I am. Suddenly I heard Manisha's voice...

'Come O.K let's dance' while I don't know why my thoughts ran into the same retreating back figure and I closed my eyes. I needed some space.

'Sorry Manisha...I need some space' saying I walked away. I kept sipping bottles of beer thinking of nothing. This feeling of emptiness within and the beer which were entering my system creating havoc in my mind...

I was thinking about her...

That wild fragrance which I could still smell...

Shaking my head I took another sip of beer while looks like I am extremely high right now because other than thinking and recalling her fragrance I had begun to see her infront of me!!!

I saw her small thin body approaching me...in the white kurta and blue pajama, hair lush and open kissing her slender waist she took heavy steps towards me...while a dreamy smile appeared on my lips...

She's beautiful!!!

But she wasn't smiling!!!

'Come on...smile my Jalebi!!!' I muttered to myself while I saw she took a stool from nearby and climbed upon it to reach my height...

Gosh she's a shorty cutie!!!

Probably we are a feet apart!!!

I'm 6.5 and she's 5.5 !!!

Wooow!!!

Standing on that stool she shot her beautiful eyes which looked gloomy, teary and red...

Wait a minute??? Is she angry???

She kept looking at me!!!

And before I could open my mouth one tight slap landed on my left cheek and I was left stunned!!!

She hit me so hard that I almost fell down.

That's when I realised!!!

First time ever in life!!!

A women slapped O.K!!!

Anything but that is NOT O.K!!!
