"so is you happy that i picked you?" miguel asked val in soulties as he had his arm wrapped around her.

"yeah i am very happy. i just literally had like no idea. none." she smiled.

"really? you couldn't tell i was feeling you?" miguel asked her.

"not really. you flirt with everyone." she laughed.

"i am a man of mysteries. life is a bowl of mysteries. we don't know what tomorrow shall bring." he said while looking up.

"are you gonna get attached?" he asked her.

"no." she shook her head, knowing she was lying right to his face. of course she'd get attached, i mean look at the man.

"you sure?" he asked again.

"mhm." she looked away which caused him to grab her chin and lean in to kiss her.

his upper half was on top of her a bit as he held her chin and she wrapped her leg around his. the kiss lasted for a few more seconds until he spoke up.

"i'm so glad i ain't sleeping alone tonight." which caused her to laugh.

"you british boys." she shook her head.

"we built different baby. we built different." which made her laugh even more.

"goodbye." she dragged out while trying to run away but he dragged her back down.

"you ain't going anywhere." he trapped her in a hug.

"serena hel-" she tried to yell for the girl until miguel covered her mouth with his hand. he finally removed it which caused her to jokingly run away.

"help me!" the girl ran down to the couches where leah, jaNa, and serena were sitting as she sat next to leah.

"no val stop i'm in crisis." leah put her face in her hand.

"which is?" val asked the girl.

"i don't like connor anymore." leah said while sighing which made val start laughing.

serena and jaNa started laughing as well. "guys stop it's not funny!" leah tried to say seriously but failed.

"leah's into that toxic shit." which caused her to hit val in the arm.

"let's go eat!" val stood up as she dragged leah to the kitchen to sit down and eat before bed.

"it's time for everybody to go to bed. lucky beggars." iain spoke.

valentina went in the dressing room to take off her makeup and put on her heart brandy mellville pajama set.

"val! the underdog of the night!" kaylor yelled.

"we kissed in soulties today." val smiled at all of the girls.

"ahhh!" all of the girls started running around yelling.

"so are you excited to share a bed with miguel tonight?" leah asked her bestfriend as they were walking to the bedroom.

"i am." she dragged out. "he's so handsome." which made leah laugh as they entered the door.

val started running to her bed and flopped on it next to miguel.

"someone's excited." he laughed at her.

"you wish." she jokingly glared at him which caused him to laugh.

"what kind of sleeper are you?" she asked him.

"i'm a big teddy bear to be honest, i love cuddling." he answered honestly.

"okay good me too." she laughed at him and got under the covers.

they laid down for awhile just talking until he leaned into kiss her. they kissed for awhile until they finally decided to sleep, val laying her head on his chest.

"so how is everybody feeling in their couples right now?" andrea asked all the girls.

"good!" almost all of the girls spoke up.

"i heard val getting a little action in last night." leah spoke up while laughing.

"leah!" val hid her face in her hands before going downstairs to join everybody else.

while val walked downstairs she noticed nicole

and miguel talking by the couches.

to be honest she didn't really care. firstly, miguel is brand new. he deserves to get to know everyone. and second, she trusts nicole. she knew that nicole's connection with kendall was too strong anyways.

she made her daily smoothie then joined the other girls on the couches. they were briefly talking until liv got a text.

"islanders, it's festival time in todays challenge. burning love. which couples' relationships are heating up and which are going down in flames? #lovetrip #hotmess."

everybody cheered after liv finished reading the message.

all of the couples ran out to the challenge excitingly.

miguel and val both had on matching red outfits for the challenge

first up was nicole and kendall. everybody was laughing since they were the first ones.

then leah and connor went. "which couple would you not want to be abandoned in a desert with." they picked jaNa and hakeem since of the recent drama.

next was serena and kordell. "which couple is the most toxic." serena and kordell walked over to connor and leah giggling as they dumped their water on them.

miguel and val were finally up to go. they high fived each other before putting the goggles on.

"forward, forward!" miguel yelled. "now to the right a little bit." val finally got to the muffin.

she licked it while dancing a bit. "i ain't gonna lie you look really good doing that." miguel spoke up which caused the others to laugh.

val then got to the cake putting some of it in miguel's mouth then smearing the rest down his chest.

val & miguel in beach hut:

"i still got room for dessert if it's on you yeah." he told her.

"can you hear this kid?" val laughed at him while turning to look at him.

"pg." he looked at her. "please, we're on peacock." she joked which caused him to laugh.

val tore the sticker off the cup and read it out. "which couple is faking it till they make it." she looked over at miguel, them having the same

people in mind.

they walked over to hakeem and jaNa and spilled their water on them. "not you babygirl." val pointed at jaNa.

"i love you girl." jaNa blew her a kiss.

miguel and val then walked over to the toilet which exploded in their faces. "what the fuck!" val yelled out.

then they took their picture, val sticking her tongue out until they got slimed even more.

miguel then carried the girl over to the heart and laid her down as they started kissing. everybody cheering for them in the background.

as they got up they high fived each other again. "good job!" miguel said to her while sitting down.

the rest of the couples went before they all ran back to the villa.
