"welcome back to love island usa. the gold team won't shut about sports day. what do they want, a medal? oh damn! i knew i forgot something." iain voiced over.

all of the girls got ready for the night. val left her hair and makeup natural and put on a matching denim set with hot pink heels.

the girls all walked downstairs, val holding sierra's hand while the guys cheered.

"ooo, matching set okay." miguel looked her up and down.

"let's go!" val drug him by the hand over to the table for drinks.

they were all talking until they saw rob bringing up food to aaron and kaylor.

"is he asking her to be his girlfriend?" val asked the others.

"yes!" they answered her.

"aw that's so cute." she smiled, happy for her friend.

"let's go!" they heard aaron scream, meaning kaylor said yes.

"yes!" all of the others cheered from downstairs.

"can we go to the dock?" miguel asked val.

"yeah! let's go." they walked to the dock hand in hand.

"so, what did you want to talk about?" she asked him while smiling, sitting on his leg.

"i just wanted to tell you how you've made this experience one of the best things ever and i really appreciate you." he told her.

"aw, miguel. that's so sweet." she kissed his cheek.

"and i'm also really falling for you, and i think that we could really make this work on the outside world." he said while nervously playing with her hair.

"miguel that was so sweet. so could i, you make me really happy. that means a lot." they kissed for a little before returning back to the others.

while they came back the others were all looking at them. "it's giving mom and dad on vacation." nicole said.

"he said he was falling for me." val smiled while everybody cheered for them. then, jaNa and kenny returned from upstairs. jaNa told everyone how they were now closed off.

"congrats to us!" val screamed while running over to hug her bestfriend and pointing at kaylor from up top.

"we love, love!" aaron yelled.

val then ran back over to miguel, sitting on his leg while talking to the others. kenny's phone went off. "i got a text!" he screamed.

"go on then boy! let's hear what it was." miguel told him in his funniest voice yet.

"islanders, the hideaway is open. as the winners of the love island summer sports day, the gold team can choose a couple from their team to spend a private night together. #afterhours #gotthegold."

val looked down at miguel smiling. "val and miguel!" aaron yelled which made them laugh.

"val and miguel!" they all started screaming and cheering.

"are you guys sure me and miguel." val said sarcastically.

"we have to get you ready!" the girls took val by the hand while all the boys were hyping up miguel.

val in beach hut:

"guys i think this has been the best day of my life." she laughed.

"miguel! it's about to be nawstay!" kendall yelled so everyone to hear.

"guys i don't know what to wear!" val yelled while setting out all of her options.

she finally decided on a mint green sparkly, lacey set with a matching sheer robe.

"ah, you look so pretty." the girls smiled at her.

"you bout to get it awn." serena laughed at her best friend.

"stop serena!" val yelled at her while hugging all the girls goodbye.

"bye guys! i love you!" she told them. they all went downstairs. before she went downstairs she gave herself a few more looks in the mirror.

"you're a bad bitch." she mumbled to herself, fixing her hair. she took one big breath before heading downstairs to miguel. she laughed when she saw his reaction.

"oh my..." he said under his breath, leaning into hug her.

the couple then walked toward the hideaway holding hands while the others cheered and sang for them. "mal, in the hideaway. hey hey hey!" the couple danced along to them singing.

val turned around and blew one more kiss to the others before the couple reached the door. when miguel opened the door val's jaw dropped. "shut up!" she yelled while covering her mouth.

"it is insane in here!" miguel said while the two walked around the entire place, looking at everything.

"what the fuck is this?" val pointed to the mirror that said, pull here for a good time. he looked at her while laughing. "pull it!" she yelled at him.

"yes ma'am." he opened it. when they saw what was inside their jaws dropped. it was full of a ton of interesting things to use.

"looks like we'll be having a time later." miguel said while sticking his tongue out which made val playfully slap his shoulder.

"oh my god, we need to go in the hot tub!" she cheered excitedly. the two got changed into their bathing suits. val had on a purple bikini while miguel had on plain black swim bottoms.

"shit, purple is my new favorite color." miguel said while spinning which made val blush. then he popped the champagne before the two went into the hot tub.

val sat on his lap in the hot tub while they talked about what they wanna do on the outside world until it fell silent. they sat in the peaceful silence until val spoke up, "it's so nice being here with just you." she smiled at him.

"i could say the exact same thing." he tucked her hair behind her ear, looking down at her lips. val leaned in first, placing her lips right on his.

she threw her arms around his neck while his hands roamed her entire body. they kissed for a long time before val pulled away first, out of breath.

"i think we should go inside." she looked at him, which made him rapidly nod with wide eyes. val laughed at his eagerness.

even in the most serious times, he could still make her laugh and smile.

when they got back to the bed, val climbed on top of him. starting just where they left off.

she knew it was going to be a night to remember.
