val woke up to kendall talking. "how's everyone feeling?"

"kendall why would you even ask me that." leah laughed.

val got ready. she put on maroon bikini and did her hair in a braid. while she was doing her makeup she saw miguel walk in.

"valentina, love." miguel sang while walking in the makeup room.

"i made breakfast." he placed the plate on the spot in front of her.

"avacado toast!" val smiled at the plate miguel put in front of her.

"thank you!" she gave him a hug while sitting down.

"of course, see you soon." he then walked out of the room.

val ate her breakfast before going downstairs to talk with the other girls in the kitchen. when she got down there she sat next leah and saw sierra on the grass, stretching with caine.

"really funny how she's talking to caine now." val looked at them from far away.

"cause miguel don't want her ass anymore. he wants you!" leah playfully slapped val's leg.

"walk em like a dog sis." val jokingly flipped her hair which made leah die laughing.

after the laughter died out val got serious. "i'm gonna go pull miguel to make sure he's okay from last night. i'll be back!" val yelled while walking over to the gym.

"miguel!" she yelled while walking over.

"what's up darling." miguel stopped his workout.

"can we go talk?" she smiled at him.

"yeah, i was about to come get you anyways." miguel told her.

the two walked up to soul ties. val spoke first.

"how are you feeling after last night. are you okay?" she questioned him.

"i'm okay. i just didn't like the yelling. you know because of my past." she listened intently.

"and also i'm not gonna lie. i felt really disappointed in myself last night after i saw the video of you crying so i just wanted to say i'm truly sorry again. kinda shed a tear not gonna lie." he held his hands up in defense.

"you cried after the video?" she said shocked.

"um yeah. when i see you emotional, i get emotional myself." he explained.

"aw miguel." she placed her hand on top of his.

"but listen, i really do want to continue things with the two of us. but i just want to know if you feel the same way." miguel asked her.

"first off, i just wanted to say thank you for giving me that space i needed after all of this because it shows how respectful you've been about it. but um, spending the time away from you does make me realize i wanna continue things as well." she softly smiled.

"so let's make it work then." he said, happy at her response.

"i just think though that if we want to work on us. we probably should just focus on us." she told him.

"so what you're saying is you wanna close off?" miguel tried not to smile.

"do what you feel?" she shrugged.

"i want us to work on this and we can close off." miguel smiled.

"i'm down for that." val shook her head.

"for real?" he questioned her.

"yeah, i don't want anybody else." she slightly smiled.

"me either." he said before pulling her in for a much needed hug.

"thanks for this conversation." he said while they walked downstairs.

"of course." she smiled before the two separated to talk to the others.

she immediately ran over to serena. "we closed off rena." serena automatically screamed, which caused all of the other girls to come over as well.

"so did me and kordell earlier." she covered her mouth.

"no way!" val hugged her best friend.

"what the hell happened!" the rest of the girls yelled.

"tell em val!" serena smiled.

"me and miguel closed things off." she smiled.

"ah!" all of the girls screamed which made val laugh, jaNa shaking her by the shoulders because of how excited she was for best friend.

val got ready for the night. she put on a baby pink dress and white heels. doing a blowout on her hair and a natural makeup look.

"i'm scared cause of this recoupling." val said nervously to the girls.

"babe you will be okay i promise." leah hugged her.

"i love you le." val hugged her back. the two then walked downstairs hand in hand.

"let's go chicas!" aaron yelled while all of the boys cheered.

val walked over to miguel. "you look so good." he told her.

"thank you!" she hugged him for a minute before the two joined the rest at the cocktail table.

val was standing talking to the others, miguel's arm wrapped around her waist until sierra started yelling.

"guys! ariana, ariana." she repeated while pointing.

"ariana!" liam yelled out.

"surprise. may you all please gather at the fire pit." ariana pointed over.

they all walked over to the fire pit, sitting down.

"well, it's time for the recoupling. tonight each boy will choose the girl they wanna couple up with. unfortunately, three girls will be dumped

from the island tonight." ariana told them.

the girls walked to the front of the fire pit. val stood in between jaNa and liv.

kendall was up first. he obviously picked to couple up with nicole.

liam went after. he picked leah to couple up with. leah hugged val before she went to sit down next to liam.

kenny was up next, he coupled up with jaNa again. his speech was very sweet.

after kenny, kordell went. he happily picked serena.

val almost jumped up and down after she saw them together again. "let's go!" she cheered for them.

caine chose to couple up with sierra. val side eyed liv during his speech. "interesting." val whispered to liv.

"very." she whispered back.

aaron went after and picked kaylor to couple up with. val thought kaylor deserved better than him, especially after the casa situation, but supported her friend no matter what.

"miguel, you're up next." ariana told him. he stood up.

"this girl makes me feel super comfortable. i'm able to be myself around her with no restraints. uh- you know for a smooth talker i don't have the words today. but uh, here i am i guess you also make me stumble upon my words." he looked at val while laughing.

"she's very understanding and mature. this wasn't a difficult decision. she's the only woman i want to get to know on that level here. so the girl i want to couple up with is, valentina." he smiled.

she walked over, giving him a quick kiss before they sat down. "that was good!" she whispered.

"valentina, how are you feeling after being in a couple again with miguel?" ariana asked her.

"i feel like, we just make sense. he's very wise and honest. and i'm very glad to be back with him." val leaned her head on his shoulder.

lastly, it was robs turn. he ultimately picked to couple up with daniela. val started crying, having to see one of her closest friends liv go home.

she immediately ran over to hug liv. miguel standing behind her. "migwell, you better take care of her!" liv jokingly yelled at him.

the girls helped liv go upstairs and pack, crying the whole time.

val gave liv one final hug. "i love you so much." liv told her before she walked out.

after liv left val and miguel walked over to the yellow couches to talk. her legs on his lap as she laid back on a pillow while he rubbed her leg up and down.

"it's cool to meet someone that gets me so well." he told her which made her smile big.

"i feel the same." she told him while he looked down at her lips before leaning in. her arms went around his neck, pulling him closer.

they got interrupted by ariana yelling from the balcony. "i'm back! can you meet me at the fire pit please."

"oh shit, it's ariana." miguel looked down at val.

"valentina, miguel. come here! ariana's back!" kordell shouted across the villa.

"i know. i heard her." miguel yelled in a funny voice.

all of the couples sat down at the fire pit.

"as you know, the road to is full of unexpected twists and turns." they all groaned in response.

"and tonight is no exception. please welcome, harrison." ariana continued.

they all watched the entrance, seeing a tall blonde man with long hair and blue eyes. he was also dressed very well.

"is that harrison from last season?" jaNa questioned.

"have fun." ariana smirked at them before walking out. they all got up to introduce themselves to him.

"hi i'm valentina, nice to meet you!" val hugged him.

"i'm harrison nice to meet you. beautiful name by the way." he told her.

"thank you so much!" she smiled at him.

"that guy is gorgeous. he is gorgeous." aaron laughed.

"your in a couple my bro." miguel patted aaron on the back.

"miguel!" val smacked him beside the head. "just saying." he shrugged.

all of the girls had their own conversation with him, each girl going around and saying what they do.

everybody then went to hang out in the kitchen. harrison, pulling nicole for a chat which made everybody laugh since kendall got mad.

"make me a toastie now!" val yelled at miguel.

"what every you want darling." miguel jokingly bowed down to her which made everyone in the kitchen laugh.

val in beach hut:

"i'm not gonna lie, i'm not seeing the harrison hype that the other girls are. he's nice guy but like." she shrugged.

the girls all got ready for bed. val wore a matching brandy melville floral pajama set to bed.

she was so happy to finally be able to sleep next to miguel again. she laid in bed for a little, waiting for miguel. she was relieved when she finally saw him walking over.

"finally!" she held her arms out. he laid on her, getting under the covers before the lights went out. the two laid their in a peaceful silence for awhile before val whispered to him.

"i love your durag, it makes you look so hot." she laughed.

"you look so hot." he leaned in, they kissed for awhile but stopped when they heard somebody get up and open the door to go outside, they shrugged it off anyway and then continued.
