Chapter 37

Two Bodies With One Mind, Feeling, and Pain?

The Villainess Is Tired

Chapter 35

Alejandro's POV

We're running to the Lobelia Palace to visit Lyn. Short for Ashlyn. There weren't many servants here. Just enough for people who clean, cook, and do the laundry. Mother wants to remain the quiet aura here. Needless to say, we didn't just go there without bringing anything. Hihi.

'What did you brought?' Older brother asked in my mind. Yes, we share not just thoughts, ideas, and opinions. We have telepathy power where we talk to each other in our minds. 'Flowers from the West part of the continent, brother.' I replied. 'How about you?' I ask. 'A well-made dress from our designer, of course.' I nodded. As I look at him. "I hope she likes it." I talked. "She will." Brother Claude said with a delightful smile. Brother seemed to always smile these days. Must be because of Lyn.

We both discovered our telepathic power when we were both young. When I got wounded in the past I heard brother Claude's voice yelling though he was not speaking. Then eventually he heard my voice when I was not speaking also. Not just that, my brother and I not just share mind telepathy but also physical telepathy.

Brother Claude and I don't know what it's called. But we both termed it as physical telepathy. My brother and I feel both our feelings and pain. Here's what happened; Brother was reading his books when he felt pain all of a sudden. He saw his finger bleeding though he didn't cut it or got paper cut. At that moment, I was paper cut. We both saw how our fingers are bleeding at the same time. I suggested that why not do something. An experiment, if we have physical telepathy and not just mind telepathy. First, we tried to pour cold water in brother's hands. Feeling the cold was what we felt. The second time is when I intentionally trip. Brother felt the sting of being tripped even though he didn't stumble. Then after a time, we got used to it. Older brother and I are not twins. I'm five years younger than him. That means I'm presently 10 years old while my brother is currently 15.

Our parents know about our out-of-the-blue power. Dad said that it may be a blessing from our ancestors or our grandfather or the God of the Sun. Even so, dad has no ability like us. He encountered a similar situation before in the royal family. And it was in the royal books that few of the family members *Deceased or Still Alive* had different blessings. Powers to be exact. Their abilities, they used it for the good not because they have royal blood within them but because it was for the best. So that they don't won't go insane or get addicted to their potential.

A blessing for the imperial family is both a protection and a risk for us. Brother Claude and I can be both in danger when something happens. Moreover, the two of us can die together.

I got first in the glass greenhouse. I listen to mother's conversation with Lyn. They first talked about the crown princess position that Lyn refused to take. After that, mom told Lyn about our older sister who died. She's Alaina our illegitimate sister. Even at a young age, my family has been telling me about Alaina. It's a pity she didn't live long enough. Brother was the first to know her existence. All the time, mom often reminded us that even if our older sister wasn't alive and does not share a single drop of blood from us; Siblings. Our older sister Alaina is still family. I accepted that also brother, of course. And about the remarriage thing, we also know about that.

Mother then asked Lyn about her life before. I wanted that to be their privacy. Therefore, I decided to go back to where I left my brother.

"Brother, I apologize, I left you," I said. He answered it was okay. He walked in unison with me. "I saw Lyn a while ago. She's beautiful like always." My heart was beating fast. That beating was not mine. It was my brother's. Oh, I get it, he is anxious to see Lyn again. He's flustered. Haha, I'll annoy my brother. "Brother, your heart's pounding hard and fast. What's the reason?" In an instant, my brother blushed. "I'm eager to see Lyn." He answered me sincerely. Too honest. As always brother always make his answer short. I'm dense, he is too truthful. "Do you like her?" He nodded. How can I annoy my brother? When he's this cute? Whilst I'll still make fun of him. I was about to poke fun at him again.

But he said, "I like her. However, she doesn't like me more than a friend. And I'm okay with that. All along I know she doesn't want to be a crown princess or limit her of what she wants. And I heard what you heard in mother and Lyn's conversation a while ago. You forgot we share the same stimuli." I forgot about that so I faintly laugh about it. He continued talking while we are walking. "Even if I want her to be mine or make her my crown princess. Alternatively, put her in a willful marriage without her concept. You know I'm not like that. I can't cage a free wind. A free wind tends to be unbound." He ended. When it comes to Ashlyn his words are long. When it comes to other people or me. You gave us deadpan short replies. "Why are you a fan of giving me deadpan brief replies? Albeit when it comes to Ashlyn De Alegro. You always speak as if you are delivering a long love letter?" Brother smack my shoulder. I laughed loudly.

Although, I realize every word he said. Brother is always right. Additionally, what he said is more than true it's real. An unchained wind will never be chained. It will always find its way to be free. A Wind will never be captived.

I got back to reach the glass greenhouse to see mother still talking to Lyn but with my brother with me now.

Claude's POV

"Mom!" Alejandro shouted. We were a little far from them. I waved at my mother and Ashlyn. Lyn wave back. I smiled as I saw her. Ashlyn is wearing a dark green short-sleeved not too long summer dress. It was plain. Yet the simplest things always look beautiful to her. Alejandro was waving at them while holding the flowers he brought for Lyn. Alejandro and I got to them.

"Good afternoon, mother." I greeted, mother nodded. "How is teaching Alix, Claude?" Mother asked. Mother calls Alejandro 'Alix' short for his name Alejandro Felix La Roscenches Lune. While my name was supposed to be Cloud, my father had an idea to make it more unique. Father wanted my name to be as unique as his great-grandmother's grandmother; The Empress Claudia La Rosenches Lune. Great-grandma was the 13th female emperor who reigned the continent. She was one of the few who became the monarch. It was counted before and now, how many women became the ruler. Not because of the favoritism to male sovereigns. Come on, that ended ages ago. Apart from that is because the royal family is careful about choosing a female ruler. They don't want to happen what occurred with the first Empress who ruled the empire a long time ago. The first empress was known to be a fine person but when she got crowned Empress she revealed her true colors. The first Empress was a real tyrant. A greedy person. She bestowed havoc on the continent. Nevertheless, that stopped when the Fairchild Continent, the neighboring empire helped the first Empress's cousin. To end the misery that the first Empress dedicate to the people who suffered. Father then thought of my name 'Claude'. After that, it became Claude Rivero La Rosenches Lune. Mother urged herself to think of another name for my second honorific thus the Rivero came to her thinking.

"My method is still the same. I'm teaching Alejandro the basics, his difficult subjects, and his advanced studies. Also monitoring him as always." I reported. "Mom, mom, my grades got higher can I play with brother and Lyn?" Alejandro was excited. He's excited about three reasons. The first is his with us. The second is he knows what play we're going to do. Mother doesn't know what play we're talking about but it's okay. And the third, it is because we are going down the passage walls. "Okay, you can," Mother didn't finish her words. She saw how Alejandro is pulling us. He pulled me and Lyn with one hand at his. "But set aside it from now. Come and have tea with me. Alix, dear, have manners next time." Mother was smiling at Alejandro though she looked like she was scaring him more than teaching him nicely. "Yes, yo-you're right mom. Hehe." Alejandro stutter. Alejandro's afraid of our mother more than our father. Lyn softly laughed while I stare at her.

We chatted, eat, have a conversation again. Lyn was listening to us. I gave Ashlyn the dress I ask from our tailor to make. It was a blue dress with linings of rare gems sparkling to it. Alejandro gave the rare yellow lilies to Ashlyn. "I'm grateful for Claude's and Alejandro's gifts. I'm thankful." She said. Then we finish, "We'll go now. Goodbye, aunt." Lyn bid farewell to our mother so are we. "Don't let Ashlyn be in danger. I'll both lock you in the attic if you dare to." Mother gave both of us death glares. I and Alejandro sweat-dropped at what our mother said. "Gosh, mom? Who's genuinely your real child?" Alejandro whispered. "What did you say, Alix?" For no reason, Alejandro coughed. "Nothing, nothing, mom." He smiled, "Brat. Claude, take care of your rascal brother and Lyn also." Mother looked back at me. "Yes, mother." I glimpse when mother smiled and patted my head. "You're a great brother." She complimented. I was speechless. What I didn't know is a smile is forming on my lips.

"Wah, mom, I'm also here. No pat for me?" Alejandro shouted, this kid. "Alejandro Felix La Rosenches Lune, didn't I told you. Your manners!" Mother raised her voice as he scolds Alejandro. We heard mother mention Alejandro's full name. I signaled Lyn to hold me since we will be running. Lyn understood my gesture. She held my hand. Mother was about to scold Alejandro. However, I took Alejandro's hand. All of us we're running. Although we are now far from mother. I look back at mother. She was waving at us, I waved back so is Ashlyn. Alejandro didn't seem to care about us running away from our mother. But I know he's happy. I can feel it.

I got to a big tree here in the Lobelia Palace. I felt the presence of my younger brother. "Lyn, Alejandro, let's go down?" I said not looking at them from behind. "Yes," Alejandro had a grin on his lips. Lyn was quiet. I chuckled for a bit before opening the walls. "Walls of the morning sun." I faintly chanted. The big tree changed its appearance to gold like big gate walls. The walls opened. I strolled first. Followed by my little brother and the girl I like.
