Cedrick maintained a stoic expression. “Perhaps he’s aware that I’m going to confront Yael, and he’s worried about his son.

Gwendolyn fell silent.

Cedrick held the baby with one hand, freeing his other hand to embrace his wife. “All right, it’s getting late. Benny and Zendy should go to bed soon. Let’s head back to Harrick Villa.”
