Chapter 43
My Wife Is A Masquerade Master
Lily said angrily, âYou ungrateful girl, have you ever thought about what will happen if you offend the Preston family? Without them, could you enjoy such a lavish lifestyle, wearing these luxury items, and living in this mansion? You should be grateful to them!â
Madison sneered. âI think you should know better about my life in the Preston family. The one who receives money from the Preston family every month is not me but you and the Guzman family. So, if anyone should be grateful, it should be you, not me.â
Lily scolded angrily, âIf the Guzman family prospers, itâs still you who benefits. Youâll be able to hold your head high in front of others with the support of the Preston family.â
Madison chuckled. âHeh, most of the money you get is to support your adopted daughter. As for Father, heâs not cut out for business. Even if the Preston family throws money at him, itâs like throwing it into the sea.â
Madison didnât want to tell Lily about her divorce from Neville at the moment. With Lilyâs temperament, it might disturb her peace.
Lily impatiently changed the topic. âAnyway, the Preston family is our savior. No matter what happens, you have- to come with me to the Preston family.â
Madison knew that she couldnât convince Lily. After all, Lily only saw Madison as a tool for gaining benefits.
Madison smiled. âWhat do you think I should do?â
Lily smiled shamelessly. âFirst, delete the videos. Just say it was just a play. Then, come with me to the Preston family and apologize to Ms. Preston. Even if you have to kneel, you must beg her for forgiveness! If that doesnât work, serve your husband well tonight and sweet-talk him, and he will let us go.â
Madison clenched her fingers tightly and trembled in anger. She looked at Lily for a long time before smiling. âIn your eyes, Iâm just a tool to please the Preston family and a plaything in Nevilleâs bed, right?â
Lily shamelessly said, âYou should consider yourself lucky. A man as excellent as your husband is many womenâs dream man.â
Madison coldly smiled. She had been hurt so many times that she didnât want to take such words to heart.
12:20 â
Lily wasnât the first to degrade Madison like this. It was precisely because of this that Regina and Daisy pushed their luck. After all, Madison was even mistreated by her mother.
Coldness crept into Madisonâs eyes. âI wonât apologize to Daisy, and I wonât bow down as you suggested.â
Lily was anxious to hear that and was about to slap Madison again when a cold, stern voice sounded.
âStop!â
Neville walked over with a sullen look, and Daisy followed him, with nervousness in her eyes.
Madison licked her swollen gums gums.
What a coincidence. Neville always appeared when she was at her worst.
When she looked at the expensive handbag Lily was holding, Madison instantly understood what was going on.
Daisy must have bribed Lily to make her force Madison to apologize.
Neville and Daisy werenât here to apologize. They were here to watch the show.
Madison stood on the steps, looked down at Neville, and said with a mocking smile, âMr. Preston, youâve seen enough jokes. Please take your sister away. It makes me sick to see you.â
Neville saw the fingerprints on her flawless cheek. His handsome face turned icy. However, Madisonâs mocking tone made him feel uncomfortable. He coldly said, âYouâre only fierce in front of me. Why are you so cowardly, when someone else hits you?â
Why didnât you fight back?â he said inwardly.
Daisy was momentarily stunned. She could sense that Neville cared about Madison.
Madison felt Nevilleâs mockery. If she was ruthless, she could let the lurking papar a z z i expose her miserable state, making everyone sympathize with her and turn their hatred toward Daisy.
Hearing Nevilleâs sarcasm, she decided to try another method. She didnât want to let him see her in such a pitiful state.
As for Daisy, who had always been arrogant, there were many scandals about her. Madison would definitely get a hold of her and let Daisy beg for mercy.

T Madison said to Neville again, âTake your people and f u c k off!â
Lily huffed, âHow dare you speak to your husband like this?â
Neville, with disdain for Lily, said, âThis is my business with her. Please stay out of it.â
Though he wanted to be rude to Lily, he restrained himself. He couldnât let his anger escalate. But the coldness in his eyes made Lily flee in fear.
Taking a deep breath, Neville retrieved a first aid kit from the car and swiftly brought Madison back to the mansion.
Madison tried to shake his hand off, but he held her tightly. No matter how hard she tried, she couldnât break free. âNeville, let go!â
Neville glanced at her swollen face angrily. But knowing that Madison was not in a good mood, he held back his anger and only said coldly, âAre you showing me this pitiful look to make me feel sorry for you?â
Madison gave him a slap, and both of them were stunned.
She didnât need to look at him to know how gloomy he would be. But Madison didnât care about it. What was done couldnât be undone.
She had to take care of her face first and then come back to clean up the mess. She didnât want Neville to think that she was pretending to be pitiful.
Madison silently turned and walked into the mansion.
Neville stared at her slender figure and suddenly smiled.
Daisy looked at Neville with a hint of horror in her eyes.
In her impression, Neville was cold, aloof, and commanding. But just now, he was slapped by Madison, and instead of getting angry, he smiled.
She wondered if Neville was out of his mind. She tugged at his sleeve and asked, âNeville, are you alright?â
Neville gave her a cold look and said, âIf you want to apologize, do it with sincerity. Do you need me to teach you?â
Daisy bit her lips. She couldnât believe that Neville hadnât seen the cameras on the van across the street. Did he really expect her to apologize to Madison in front of the media?
With red eyes, she asked, âDid you fall for Madison?â
