Chapter 311
Pampered By Power: The True Heiress Returns
Chapter 311 âAgain?â Elysia raised an eyebrow, a mischievous smile spreading across her face.
She took a few steps back and then popped up just like before, this time extending her hand and making a silly face Fabian jumped in surprise, then flopped dramatically onto the sofa, his expression one of complete shock Elysia froze in place. âFabian, your acting is so good. Maybe, even Holden wouldnât be able to beat you.â
âOf course,â Fabian said, sitting up from the couch. âIf I ever joined the entertainment industry, Holden would be pushed aside.â
He pressed the intercom button. âSend the food up.â
Elysia, now sitting beside him, picked a piece of fruit from the fruit plate on the table. âArenât we going to the restaurant? Why have the food sent to the room?â
âThereâs a group of people downstairs waiting to see you, people you really donât want to meet, Fabian replied.
âHuh? Who?â Elysia asked, puzzled.
The Janssen family. Theyâve been here since last night. I told them you were resting and didnât let them come up to disturb you,â
he explained.
âThe Janssen family? Theyâre not here to apologize, are they?â Elysia asked.
Fabian smiled and ruffled her hair, the affection in his eyes very obvious. âSmart girl.â
Just as he finished speaking, the doorbell rang. Fabian got up to answer it.
The hotel waiter entered, pushing a food cart. He placed all the dishes on the table and bowed respectfully. âMr. Evans, Ms.
Evans, please enjoy your meal.â
After setting everything down, he pushed the cart out of the room.
Fabian glanced at Elysia, still staring at the food in a daze on the sofa, his tone gentle. âElysia, if you donât come over, all this delicious food is going to be mine.â
Elysia snapped out of her trance. âFabian, if you like it, you can have all the finest dishes in the world. Whatâs the harm in that?â
She walked over to the table. As soon as she saw the spread, her eyes widened in surprise.
âThis is all my favorite food! Fabianâs so sweet!â she thought to herself.
âWell?â Fabianâs voice came from behind her. âDo you like it?â
Elysia nodded, looking at the table full of food. âI love it. Thank you, Fabian.â
âItâs nothing,â Fabian replied in a very indulgent tone. âAs long as itâs what you like, Iâd even pick the moon from the sky for you.â
He pulled out the chair beside her with a soft gesture.
They sat down and enjoyed their breakfast, while Bianca and her family anxiously awaited downstairs in the hotel lobby. âDo you think theyâve left?â Rebecca glanced toward the elevator, her face filled with worry.
âThey shouldnât have. Itâs still early. Weâve been waiting here since before sunrise. If they left, weâd definitely see them,â Denzel replied.

Chapter 311 He tried to sound calm, though the tension in his voice betrayed his unease.
Fabian and Elysiaâs delay only made things more complicated.
It seemed like the Janssen family had really gotten themselves into trouble this time.
Denzel was on edge, frowning, pacing back and forth, his gaze darting between the elevator and the door, his thoughts restless.
Surprisingly, Bianca remained calm, sitting quietly on the sofa, not saying a word throughout the ordeal.
Hours seemed to pass, and just as Denzel was beginning to lose hope, he finally spotted them. Fabian and Elysia were walking toward the elevator.
âHey, Denzel,â Rebecca called as she turned to him, seeing the sparkle in his eyes and the fatigue gone from his face. Denzel was fixated on the elevator, clearly having noticed them.
Rebecca smiled as she wondered, âAt least we didnât waste our time this morning!
But as she sensed the icy coldness radiating from Fabian, her smile faded instantly.
He carried an aura of tension, a low pressure that seemed like the calm before a storm, a feeling that made her stomach churn with uncase.
Rebecca forced herself to push down the growing anxiety, keeping her expression neutral.
Denzel stepped forward. Bianca followed suit, standing beside Rebecca. âMr. Evans, itâs a pleasure to finally meet you. This must be Ms. Evans, right?â he said, addressing Elysia.
Fabian, however, wasnât interested in small talk. His voice was low, tinged with a hint of coldness. âMr. Janssen, werenât you here to apologize? Elysia is right here; you can begin now.â
Denzel froze for a moment âWe just met, and weâre getting straight to the point?â he thought, âAs expected of Mr. Evans, direct and to the point.
He turned toward Bianca, standing beside Rebecca, and commanded, âBianca, didnât you hear Mr. Evans? Come and apologize to Ms. Evans.â
Biancaâs face tightened with frustration. She resented how her fatherâs tone was so submissive, so ingratiating.
But in this situation, no matter how upset or unwilling she was, she had no choice but to swallow her pride.
With no other option but to lower her head, she muttered, âElysia, Iâm sorry.â Her voice came out strained, almost as if the words were being forced out of her throat, and it was clear her apology was anything but sincere.
Denzelâs anger flared. Bianca still didnât realize her mistake.
âBianca, is this how you apologize?â Denzelâs voice was sharp, his tone filled with an anger that sur times he had scolded her.
ed even the previous Biancaâs mind raced as she wondered, her resentment growing. âEven if Iâm wrong, how can Dad publicly humiliate me so badly?â
Rebecca, noticing Biancaâs refusal to speak and the rising tension in the air, reached out to gently tug at her sleeve, signaling her to speak.
Bianca snapped out of her daze and, after a brief internal struggle, steeled herself to do the right thing.
09:40 Fri, 14 Mar Chapter 311 Just as Bianca was about to lix her posture and apologize sincerely, Fabianâs voice interrupted, his words cutting through the air like a knife. âIt seems Ms. Janssen isnât apologizing from the heart. If thatâs the case, then thereâs nothing more to discussâ
Denzel was quick to respond, his voice apologetic. âMr. Evans, Iâm truly sorry. Bianca is stubborn, but she does understand her mistake now.â
Before Denzel could continue, Fabian cut him off. âShe understands her mistake? I think thatâs just your wishful thinking. Mr.
Janssen. I saw her attitude clearly âMr. Janssen, you really must have done an excellent job raising your daughter, didnât you? Fine, if Ms. Janssen doesnât want to apologize, we wonât force her. You can go now. As for your actions, I will protect Elysiaâs legal rights through legal meansâ
Fabianâs voice was firm, and without waiting for a reply, he turned as if to leave.
Bianca panicked, realizing the situation was spiraling out of control. The words Fabian had spoken continued to echo in her mind He planned to solve this through legal means. âDoes this mean the Janssen family is finished?â she thought, her heart sinking Biancaâs previous sense of resentment dissolved into pure dread.
The Janssen family had already received a legal notice. If they received another, the consequences would be dire âWait, Mr.
Evans,â she called out urgently, her face an open mask of anxiety and worry, with no trace of anything else. Fabian stopped but did not turn to look at her. âIs there something else?â
âI am willing to apologize,â Bianca said, her voice wavering slightly.
Fabianâs response was cold and dismissive. âIf itâs not sincere, what is the point of an apology? Ms. Janssen, do you think your apology holds any value?â
Biancaâs heart skipped a beat, but she pushed through, finding the courage to speak again. âI am truly sorry. I hope you will show mercy and let the Janssen family off this time.â
Fabian didnât immediately respond. He merely glanced over his shoulder. Elysia, who had been standing quietly by, had been the center of the issue all along, yet she felt like nothing more than a bystander in this tense exchange.
