Chapter 309 Esther sat on the bed in her house in Jorlandia and scrolled through her Twitter feed, feeling furious. Frustrated, she tossed her phone aside. She thought, ‘Elysia and I are both part of the Evans family, but why are we treated differently?

Fuming with frustration, she jumped off the bed, flung open the door, and stormed downstairs.

Ashley and Jim sat on the couch in the living room, their faces dark and stern. When they saw Esther rushing downstairs, Ashley immediately said, “What’s the rush? You always act so reckless,”

The maid helped Olive down the stairs. When Ashley saw her, her expression immediately softened, and she put on a bright smile as she walked over. “What brings you downstairs, Olive?”

“Am I interrupting your private conversation?” Olive replied in a sharp tone.

“Of course not. If you wanted to come down, who would stop you?” Ashley lowered her voice slightly as she said the last sentence, but her words were still clear to everyone in the room.

Jim’s expression darkened even further, and he barked out, “Ashley!”
