Early the next morning. Elysia stepped out of the house only to find that the Rosewood familyâs car had already left.
âMs. Elysia Rosewood, Ms. Emma Rosewood mentioned she had urgent business at school and left early. We donât have any extra drivers available right now, so you might need to...â said Paul, the butler, unsure of what to do.
Just then, the sound of a motorcycle approached and came to a stop right in front of them.
âMr. Jackson, Paul greeted.
Logan nodded, then turned to Elysia, a teasing grin spreading across his face. âBeg me, and Iâll give you a ride to schoolâ
âOkay. But you need to get off the bike first, Elysia replied playfully.
Logan swung his leg off the motorcycle and stood proud in front of her. Looks like you care about the whole dramatic effect.
Alright, Iâm here now. Go aheadâ
Elysia smiled as she walked by him, jumped onto the motorcycle, and grabbed another helmet from the side.
Logan watched in disbelief. âYouâre not going to ride it, are you?â
âJust let me borrow it, and Iâll bring it back tonight,â Elysia said. She then turned the key, twisted the throttle, and sped off.
Logan watched Elysia vanish into the distance, shaking his head in admiration. âWell, she looks pretty cool!â
As Elysia rode into school, she turned heads everywhere.
âWow! Whoâs that? She looks incredible, someone exclaimed.
Another chimed in. This is the first time Iâve seen a girl on a motorcycle, and I have to say, it looks awesome.â
After parking the motorcycle in front of the school building, Elya took off her helmet, letting her long hair flow in the breeze. She ran her fingers through it and tossed it back.
After putting away her helmet, she tucked her long legs in with a smooth motion, looking even cooler than most guys.
Emma watched, feeling a wave of jealousy. She recognized the motorcycleâit was Loganâs prized possession, one of only fifty in the world. Normally, no one was allowed to touch it. But today, he actually let Elysia borrow it.
âItâs Elysia! Thatâs beyond cool,â a boy admired, âWhatâs the big deal? Itâs just riding a motorcycle. Is it really that unpressive?â said a girl nearby, rolling her eyes.
âElena, doesnât this break school rules?â asked Ben, the head of the disciplinary department. He looked nervously at Elena Shelton, the president of the student union.
Elena was tall, with delicate features and a scholarly vibe. But there was something about her that made her seem completely unapproachable.
The school allows students to ride to and from school, so itâs no breaking any rules, Elena said coolly.
âBut... Ben warited to say more, but Elenaâs sharp gaze stopped before he could continue.

He grumbled under his breath, âWhatâs up with Elena today? She usually so uptight, but now sheâs bending the rules? That girl clearly violated school policy, yet Elena insists itâs fine. Sure, the school allows riding to school, but thatâs for bicycles- not motorcycles.
When Elysia entered the classroom, most of the students were already in their seats.
The first period was math. Just as the lecture began, Elysia laid her head down on her desk and quickly fell asleep.
The math teacher adjusted his glasses, annoyed. Since when did Class I have students who slept during class? This is unacceptable.â
Some students noticed the teacher staring at the back row and followed his gaze to find Elysia dozing off. âA classic case of special treatment. No interest in studying and no respect for the teacher, they thought.
Justin turned to see what was happening. The sunlight streamed through the window, casting a warm glow on Elysia and giving her a calm, serene beauty. It was a striking contrast to the chaotic energy of the classroom, making it seem like she belonged to another world.
The teacher cleared his throat and focused on Elysia. Despite his frustration, he held on to the calm demeanor expected of a teacher. âThat student over there, please donât sleep in class.â
Elysia didnât respond, so a classmate in front of her reluctantly tapped her desk. âThe teacherâs calling you.â
Only then did Elysia slowly open her eyes and look toward the teacher.
âWere you up late studying last night! If youâre tired, you can stand while listening to the class. Youâre in the back, so you wonât disturb anyone,â the teacher suggested.
âI wasnât up late, Elysia replied matterâofâfactly.
The teacher felt speechless. This student is unbelievable. I canât take it anymore.â
Just as he was about to lose his cool, Elysia glanced up at the problem on the board and said, âYouâve got this wrong. The correct answer is kâ2.â
Justin quickly looked at the problem and recalculated it in his head. To his surprise, Elysia was right. She just looked at the problem a moment ago. How did she find the mistake and come up with the right answer so fast? Was it just a lucky guess?â
The teacher turned back to the board and saw the error. He chuckled awkwardly, âI made that mistake on purpose to test you all, and look, youâre not as alert as the student who was sleepingâ
Elysia frowned and went back to sleep.
âHey! Even though you point out my mistakes, you shouldnât sleep in class, the teacher insisted.
Again, Elysia regretted coming to school.
âElysia, stop wasting our time.â Bianca Janssen, the class presiden, shot a glare at Elysia, who slumped down in her seat.
Bianca already thought poorly of Elysia, and now any remaining good feelings had vanished.
âHow does my sleeping waste your time?â Elysia shot back.
The teacher reminding you is wasting all of our time,â Blanca rolled 14:03 Tue, Jan 28 Chapter 12 âWhat the hell? Does a quick nap bother others? Elysia felt helpless. She sighed, âTeacher, please continue. Donât let me hold everyone up. I promise I wonât sleep anymore, okay?â
With that, she pulled out a blank sheet of paper from her drawer and started doodling. After all, boring moments needed something to fill them.
As the bell rang to signal the end of class, Bianca began collecting the quizzes from the last period. When she reached Elysiaâs desk and saw the blank sheet, her face darkened.
âElysia, now that youâre part of Class 1, donât disgrace us,â Bianca said, her voice loud and angry, making all the students in the room turn to look.
Class 1 prided itself on being the role model for other classes, and they wouldnât let anyone tarnish their reputationânot even someone with connections. They looked at Elysia with disdain, believing that someone like her would only bring shame to Class 1.
Under those judgmental gazes, Elysiaâs mood plummeted. She picked up the test paper from her desk, glanced over it casually, and started jotting down answers.
This exam felt as easy as a gradeâschool math test for her. But she knew she couldnât score too high; just passing was enough.
So, she deliberately selected a few wrong answers and handed the paper to Bianca. âDone.â
âIs this how youâre brushing it off?â Bianca asked incredulously.
âItâs not just brushing it off. Itâs efficient, get it?â Elysia said, her tone dripping with disdain as she totally dismissed Bianca.
Bianca glared at her, even angrier at Elysiaâs arrogant, selfâsatisfied attitude.
Leon noticed that the two were about to start an argument and quickly nudged Justin. Maybe you should step in and talk to them? Youâre sure to smooth things over æ² AD Gendit No Ads 14:03 Tue, Jan 28 Chapter 13
