"I just wanted the oldest to do it, if you were older I would have asked you. Second, it was just a traditional thing to do, I was going to get that right on his finger even if your brother said no," Austin said still rubbing his chest.

"Anything else you boys want to tell me," she asked us.

"We're going to adopt Amar," I said and she slapped me for reasons unknown.

"I figured that would happen but I'm probably the last to know aren't I," she asked me and the slap felt justified.

"Well who was the guy you were with when I called you to tell you that Chanel was delivering Toni," I asked her.

"I don't kiss and tell," she said with a smile.

"Maybe you should tell Joran that," Austin said referring to his friend from the station that also was there when I woke up for the first time.

"Cuss word!!! You have to give me a dollar," Amar said from the couch.

"I'll give it to you when they come and pick you up," she lied.

"Hey we'll be back tomorrow night around seven for him please don't feed him too much sugar or let him watch scary movies. We just started doing "stuff" and I don't want him sneaking in room blocking," Austin said then gave Chloe a book bag he had been holding with Amar's belongings. I knew I was as red as fire when he brought up our sex life.

"Ayo put the address in the GPS for me," he asked. I looked for the address in the text and used the link to bring me to my maps so Austin could follow the directions. It only took us forty minutes to get there in peak traffic. Austin kept looking at me and smiling as we drove to where we needed to be.

Austin smiled as we walked closer, "Yeah it took a lot of patience but I finally managed to get him to agree to deal with me. But what was here for is a puppy for our son," he said to her.

"Wow already have a kid," she asked.

"Yeah we're adopting him and he said he wanted a puppy so he's getting it. As quiet as it's kept he runs the house," Austin joked.

"Okay well, did you fill out our online application," she asked typing into her computer.

"Yes, we did it could be under the Robinson's," I said still not sure if I was going to take his name or hyphenate.

"Alright let me pull it up," she said and began typing quickly," Yep here it is, looks like Mrs. Ansliey approved the paperwork for adoption so how about we pick you out a fur baby," she said getting up motioning for us to follow.

"So we do have a few younger dog rescued from a hoarder about a month ago," she said going into the first room which was lined with clean cages and dogs. Some looked worse for ware and others looked healthy and perky.

"Look at that one," Austin said pointing to one that had a fluffy orange tinged body and a blue tongue sticking out.

"Oh that's a chow chow puppy about two months old, his name is Nemo since he's orange and like baths. He's probably going to have a mane when he gets a little bit older and is really good with kids," Denise informed us.

"Lions are Amar's favorite animal," I said to Austin making the decision that Nemo would be coming home with us.

"Well, he is a great dog chow chows like this usually go for fifteen hundred. He came from a good breeder unlike the ones who came from the hoarder so he is actually fully vaccinated so all that he needs is to be neutered as per state regulations and micro chipped which is about one ten."

"That's fine," Austin said and she nodded telling us to go wait in the front of the house so she could get the veterinarian to do the procedure then finish some paperwork. An hour later I was holding our new dog in my arms as Austin drove to the pet store so we could get everything that we needed. I decided to stay in the car while Austin went and shopped and gave him my card to use to pay for the stuff since I didn't want him paying for everything. Nemo was really calm and kept dozing off on top of my lap and I hope he stayed this calm. Austin came back to the car thirty minutes later with a buggy full of food, toys, potty training mats, a plush looking bed and a leash. He put everything in the trunk then came I. Handing me a collar that had a bow tie on it and a nameplate.

"This is adorable," I said placing it on our newest family member.

"Yeah only seven dollars," he said and began driving. He definitely had one thing on his mind and if I was being honest with myself I was excited to see what he was going to do to me.
