Chapter 778
Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)
Helen said anxiously, âYou have many friends. Please get someone to help settle this.â
Sasha waved her hand. âYou want me to do something illegal? Mom, do you want me to go to jail as well?â
Helen bellowed, âHow is it so serious? Itâs just a car crash!â
Sasha retorted, âDonât even think about it! I told you numerous times not to lend him the car, but you just wouldnât listen to me! Now that heâs in trouble, thereâs nothing I can do!â
Helen started bawling. âWhat should I do then? Heâs your auntâs son, so you shouldnât let him go to jail without trying to save him!â
Ignoring her mother, Sasha cocked her head to the other side.
At this moment, Minerva suddenly suggested, âTate, are you stupid or what? Just tell Joanna to get into the driverâs seat now and the problem will be solved. Joanna has a driverâs license, so itâs not as serious as driving without a license at the very least. Then, donât tell the police that youâre involved in street racing. You simply exceeded the speed limit and itâs just an average car crash. By then, the insurance company will handle it.â
Tate hurriedly answered, âOh, yes! Youâre right. Iâll tell her to get into the driverâs seat now.â
Helen appeared elated as well. âMinerva, youâre intelligent. Thatâs such a brilliant idea! Joanna has a driverâs license, so the issue can be easily solved now. Well done!â
With a smug smile, Minerva answered, âAunt Helen, being clever does help in this kind of situation.
Isnât Sasha the president of a company? Why couldnât she come up with any solution? Doesnât she need to use her brain to be a president?â
Sasha shot her a glare. âI donât know whether a brain is required for me to be a president, but at least I wonât do anything illegal and immoral!â
Helen snarled, âWhat on earth are you talking about? Minerva is just being pragmatic! Sometimes youâre just so obstinate. Alright, cut the crap now. Drive us to that place now. Tate mustnât go to jail!â
Left with no choice, Sasha could only drive them to the place where the accident happened. One car wasnât enough, so Matthew called Tiger to get Max to come over and fetch them.
Max was now under Edâs wing and helped the latter to run Wellness Herbary. Edâs business had recently taken off, but he still couldnât earn as much as he did in the past. However, he had discovered that Matthew had founded a construction company. Maxâs career at Wellness Herbary was only temporary as heâd get involved in other businesses in the future. He would begin to earn more money once he left the company.
Moreover, Max was willing to be Matthewâs subordinate even if he couldnât earn much money. At the very least, no one had the guts to offend him wherever he went now.
A while later, two cars arrived at the Northern Outer Ring where the car crash happened. Many people had surrounded the accident scene. The victim, who was lying on the ground earlier, had been taken away in an ambulance. The injured person was riding an electric bike, which had been severely damaged. It was obvious from the vehicle that the crash was extremely serious.
Many luxury cars had also parked around the place. This area was where the rich kids, who had nothing better to do, would come to get involved in street racing.
When Matthew and the others arrived at the scene, Tate was having a chat with other young people. At that moment, he appeared joyful and relaxed, which was starkly different from his anxious self earlier.
Apparently, he no longer felt frightened after he told Joanna to replace him.
Helen rushed toward him and asked, âTate, are you alright? Let me have a look. Are you hurt?â
With a smile, Tate replied, âDonât worry, Aunt Helen. Iâm fine.â
Upon making sure that he was indeed unhurt, she heaved a sigh of relief. âItâs great that youâre fine.â
Standing behind her mother, Sasha couldnât help but utter, âMom, itâs he who crashed into someone, so why would he be hurt? Why donât you ask how the injured person is doing now?â
