Liam let out a long sigh and told them how he had been beaten up.

The three of them flew into a rage after hearing the story.

“Damn it, this is absurd! These b*stards, how dare they? You are the managing director of the company and I was the one who sent you there, yet they dared to treat you like that! This is like a slap to my face!” James roared.

Demi looked at Liam in distress. “Hubby, how do you feel? Does it hurt? Don’t worry, I will definitely get revenge for you! This time, I’ll personally deal with Matthew!”

Helen’s expression darkened too. “Matthew has gone too far! We’re family after all, so is it necessary to be this ruthless? Look how badly Liam was beaten up!”

Liam said pitifully, “Dad, Mom, I have been working so hard at the construction site all for our family.

This is Matthew taking his revenge. He wants to chase me out of the construction company so that he can monopolize it. You guys have to help me!”

James gave a call to Matthew angrily, but Matthew didn’t answer the call.

He then called Sasha, but she didn’t answer either.

“Who the f*ck do you think you are?” James shouted furiously. “You want to talk to me about legal responsibility? F*ck you! Don’t you know that the company belongs to my family? You are just a dog! A dog, understand? If I wanted to kill you, it would be as easy as turning my palm. You f*cking—”

The secretary cut him off directly. “Mr. Cunningham, if there’s nothing else, I will hang up now. Also, Tim, call the police. The recordings of this call can be used as evidence. Have the police go and apprehend him now!”

The secretary only hung up after she finished speaking.

Meanwhile, James was dumbfounded.

He didn’t expect this secretary to be this bold, and that she would really call the police.

James and Helen breathed out a sigh of relief.

“Which one of you is Mr. James Cunningham? We received a report stating that Mr. Cunningham defamed and insulted a lady. We would like him to come with us to the police station to assist in our investigation!”
