3 am;

I can't believe Collin would let Levi go out with Casey today all because we didn't go to the beach. Like, get over it. You're 40 years old arguing with a 16-year-old whose life you ruined. That is like me letting my children go out with him after my dad found out my mother was cheating. Actually, it would be even worse since they were married.

Jessie opens the door slowly. I didn't actually see her, she is just the only person that would come in here at 3 am. She was holding Levi's iPad. The screen was turned on. Her face was buried in it. "You have no idea what I just found"

"What?" I ask.

She sits on the other side of my bed and shows me the iPad. It was Levi's texts with Casey. I start reading.

The night he left us at the bar he texted Levi asking if we made it home safe. Levi was obviously sleeping so he answered the next morning and said yeah. The next day when we broke up he asked if I was upset and Levi responded saying idk she went to her dad's. Casey has texted him asking about my relationship with Jessie. Levi just said we're best friends. Today he asked what I was doing and Levi said we were going to the mall so he then asked Levi if he wanted to go meet us at the mall. He has been using Levi as a little spy.

"What the fuck is wrong with him?" I ask.

"I don't know. He's lowkey a stalker." She says.

"How does he even have Levi's number?" I ask.

"I don't know. I never gave it to Levi" She says.

"This is honestly so fucked. Levi probably thought he had a cool older big brother figure meanwhile he was just being used" I say.

I pick up my phone.

"What are you doing?" She asks.

"I'm texting him. This isn't ok" I say.

I have her come and look over my shoulder so she can read it.

Casey:

Are you drunk? I wasn't stalking you.

really? You didn't show up at the mall today?

Casey:

Levi texted me and asked if I could take him to

the mall what was I gonna do? tell the kid no

i saw the texts that is not what happened.

Casey:

Oh shit sorry

"He probably doesn't think what he did was wrong" Jessie says.

"He must take after his crimelord father" I say, she laughs.

Casey:

I don't know what else you want me to say

you should have said that you wouldn't do it anymore

Fine I won't do it anymore

Whatever go to sleep with your gf and leave me alone

He must be jealous. I put my phone down next to me and turn to Jessie. "He is so weird"

"Don't worry I blocked him from Levi so he won't be able to text him anymore" She says.

"Good" I don't need anymore stalking.

I see my phone light up with another notification from him but I'm not giving him the rest of my energy tonight. He is probably thrilled I broke no contact though.

"I'll see you in the morning. I'm going to sleep" Jessie says.

What? I barely got to talk to her. I wanted to ask her what happened in New York for the third time.

"Goodnight love" I say.

"Goodnight" She says.

She stands up and I stand on my knees on my bed facing her. She leans down slightly and gives me a small peck on the lips before leaving my room.
