To be honest, the only good thing that came out of this whole thing is the fact that I get to go back home to my brothers and my family because I missed them terribly.

" How is everybody." I actually think this time apart did him good because he looks healthy, and I honestly hope he is happy.

" A lot has changed. Everybody misses you." he said.

I think we all needed to grow individually, had I stayed, and then they would have spent their lives looking out for me, and I didn't want that for them.

" I want to go home." I'm really done with this place. I learnt a lot here, and I grew in a lot of ways, but it was never my home, and after what I did, I don't think it will ever be the same again.

" I'm sorry you had to go through something like this." Dad said, and I saw unshed tears in his eyes, but none of this was his fault.

" I don't know if it was an intentional or intentional but I don't feel sad that I killed him but I feel sad because of the consequences it will bring not just on me but our entire family." I took the decision, but I didn't think about the consequences until it was over.

" But that's What Makes Us family. we stick together through everything." Elonzo said, standing on the threshold.

" I thought I told you to leave." Dad raised his eyebrow, but my brother wasn't fazed.

" I didn't want you to give my sister a hard time." The level of maturity and growth that I saw in him was amazing.

" I was planning on giving her the biggest lecture and scoldings to last her a lifetime, but I can't resist those eyes." Dad joked, and we laughed.

" Damn l missed your laughter." Elonzo said, sitting next to me.

" and I missed you." I am very lucky to have a family like mine, and I wouldn't change them for anything in the world.

I got hurt a lot back home because of their lifestyle, but after what I did, I just realized that they are no good guys or bad guys. We're all trying to survive.

" How is everybody doing? Are they happy?" I want to know everything my brothers have been up to.

" You'll see for yourself, but how about you, tell me about yourself, miss lawyer." I don't think anything beats the pride that I heard in his tone.

" There's nothing to tell except for the fact that job hunting is really hard." l sighed.

" You've grown up so much, and I'm super proud of you." Dad said. I wanted to make him proud, and I'm glad I did because he showed me love and support when I needed him the most.

I truly resent the fact that dad didn't raise me, but even in the short amount of time we got to spend together, he was there, and he loved me.

" and you don't have to worry about job hunting because there's an office with your name already." Old me with a probably been like 'I want to have a job on my own

merit' I don't want to run away from my identity and my family legacy.

" Thank you, brother." l hugged Elonzo.

" it's nice to see you smiling. " nonna said as she entered the room.

" I'm just happy to have my family back." l smiled back. I do have Chase on the back of my mind, but having them means so much more.

" I'm happy if you're happy." Ohh shit. in my happiness to go back, I forgot about her.

" If you'd rather be somewhere else rather than home, then you only have to tell me, and we'll go wherever you want." it's been yes since she left my grandfather, but I know she misses him like crazy.

" I've never been one to run away, and I think I got all the space I wanted." I can imagine how happy my grandfather will be to see her.

" I missed you madre." Dad said, standing up, and he gave her a big hug.

l know she has missed her kids as well, but I'm glad that she came with me, and she has been the best mother figure and nonna l could ever ask for.

" I missed you guys, too." she said and wrapped my arms tigher on my brother, who smiled at me.

" Okay, we'll continue all of this back home, but as of now, we have to concentrate on getting out of here unharmed." My brother pulled away and stood up.

" I think the only explanation for that missing body is that he is alive." Dad said, looking at me. I don't know if I'm relieved to hear that or not.

" And that's much worse than him dead." nonna said, and l looked at her confused.

" if he is dead then they'll try to get information about you and it won't be easy because I covered up a lot of things about your identity but if he's alive then he has seen you and it will be much easier to find you." Elonzo said, and nonna cursed.

" If they know who she is, then they will know that you're coming to take her back to Italy." nonna said.

" I called somebody who will get her out of here safely." Dad said.
