He leaned against his seat and said coldly, “Keep tabs on Zhou Jieru, inform me if she contacts Qiao Mu once again.”

Lei Yi paused for a while before he continued, “Young master, Second Young Master Su has organized a private banquet tomorrow night, and the second young master asked me to pass the message to you.”

Li Yan said coldly, “I’m not going.”

Lei Yi nodded. It was obvious that the young master was in a very bad mood, and so he left the office silently.

After five minutes, Li Yan’s cell phone started ringing. It was a call from Su Chen.

Li Yan picked up the phone and Su Chen’s husky voice could be heard through the cell phone, “Big brother, you’re not giving face to me by not attending my banquet.”

“I’m not free. Don’t waste my time if you don’t have anything else to say.”

From his tone of voice, Su Chen could tell that Li Yan was having a bad mood. Su Chen laughed, “I heard the northern suburbs have caught your eye. I’ve invited the mayor’s son for you, if you don’t come, Lu Jingzhi will snatch the property rights from you.”

“Goodbye!”

“Su Chen held the phone listlessly as the other end beeped. Who got this guy so mad again?
