Li Yan most definitely sounded like he was warning Qiao Mu; his imposing aura sent a chill down Qiao Mu’s spine.

Qiao Mu thought that her ability to counterattack had already reached the point of perfection after all these years in the Qiao family. Regardless of how Yu Tingyun and her daughter treated her, she could always handle them with ease. She had attained such capabilities after being bullied time and time again.
