On the way back, Su Chen thought about it. The way he interacted with Chi Xia, he always acted like a boss. Sometimes, when he was nice to her, she would feel flattered, but she would not think about it in other ways.

Su Chen’s gaze fell on a dessert shop. He remembered that Chi Xia liked sweet things. On his birthday, she had eaten all the birthday cake that Ling Xi had sent her.

He stopped the car and entered the dessert shop. He bought a big bag of all kinds of cakes and desserts.

However, when Su Chen drove downstairs, he looked up and saw that the house was pitch black.

He frowned. This woman had fallen asleep so early? Didn’t he remind her to wait for him to come back?

“Where are you?” Su Chen asked in a low voice.
