Chapter 1018: Chi Xia, What Are You Feeling Guilty About?

On the way home, Mrs. Chi and Mr. Chi called several times. Chi Xia told them that she would be going home in the morning. They would ask them how to get home and where they were. When they were almost home, they would tell them to pick her up.

Every time Chi Xia came home, her parents would be so enthusiastic. She would not stand on ceremony and would ask her father to pick her up from the neighborhood and help her carry her bags.

However, Su Chen had personally sent her off today, so she didn’t dare to ask her father to come out and pick him up.

Chi Xia answered on the phone and said that she would only be home at noon. She told them to prepare dinner and wait for her at home. It was too cold and they did not need to come out to pick her up.

Su Chen was driving as he listened to the woman beside him talking to the person on the other end of the phone in a gentle and casual tone. Her tone was especially relaxed. Her attitude was completely different when she was with him.

This woman always kept her guard up in front of him. She had never treated him as someone close to her.

Chi Xia put down the phone. Su Chen glanced at her and said, “” You don’t have to arrive at ten o’clock. Why did you say you’ll only be home at noon? ”

Upon hearing his words, Chi Xia replied without hesitation, “”I told them the time later to prevent them from coming out early to wait for me. If they see me with a man, they will definitely ask questions.”

On the way back, Su Chen was filled with anger, while Chi Xia was in a good mood because she was going home.

The car stopped outside Chi Xia’s residential area. Chi Xia quickly asked Su Chen to stop the car and she could go in herself. Su Chen wanted to drive the car in, but Chi Xia told him that the neighborhood didn’t allow unfamiliar cars to enter.

Su Chen glanced at the ordinary residential area in front of him. It was not a closed residential area at all. She actually said that unfamiliar cars were not allowed to enter and exit!

This unconvincing lie was obviously meant to deal with him!

She was already in a bad mood, but now she was even more depressed. It was as if they had some kind of shameful relationship.

The two of them got out of the car. Su Chen took out his luggage from the trunk and took out two gift boxes from it, handing them to Chi Xia.

Chi Xia was stunned. She looked at him who was approaching and pushed him away. ” Young Master Su, there are many people here. Be careful. ”

“Let me ask you, what are you feeling guilty about? We’re innocent. What are you nervous about? Or is it that in your heart, we are not innocent at all?” Su Chen asked.

“I’m not nervous. You’re thinking too much!” Chi Xia pushed her away forcefully and walked away.

At this moment, a voice came from behind him. “”Xiaxia?”

Chi Xia stopped in her tracks. She turned around and saw her father looking at her with a puzzled expression, as if he was not sure if he was looking at her in person.
