Ava dared not conceal the truth. She honestly informed Mason that

Brittany had answered the call.

Mason's gaze shifted toward Brittany Rogwood. She must have had

some intentions toward Mason, but his look made it clear that she had

no chance.

She was a first-tier female celebrity, and very liberal with her charms.

She casually flicked her hair and chuckled, "Mrs. Zoe asked me to

remind you that he still has a slight fever and should avoid strenuous

exercise."

Sure enough, Mason's handsome face darkened.

Thinking the collaboration was hopeless, Brittany was about to leave

when Mason stopped her.

He did not personally negotiate. Instead, he instructed Ava to confirm

the fee details before letting her leave.

Brittany blinked in surprise.

Ava put on a business-like smile and began discussing collaboration

details. Of course, she had to lower the price a bit because Mr. Mason

was currently in a bad mood.

The next day, Lockwood Corporation announced that Brittany became

the spokesperson for Lockwood Corporation. A celebration party was

held in Crocksten.

Rumors easily circulated between business elites and female stars in

the mingling crowd of fame and fortune, especially when there were

several scandalous photos.

At the party, Mason gently held Brittany's slender waist. Not too

excessive, but intimate enough.

Late at night, the two reappeared at the same hotel, with Brittany

wearing a mask to exit through a secure passage discreetly. Various

signs indicated that the CEO of Lockwood Corporation had found a

new lover.

The overwhelming rumors naturally caught Zoe's attention.

Ella called and scolded Mason before consoling Zoe not to take it to

heart. Ella said, "Men are all rotten. It's not worth getting upset over a

scumbag like Mason."

Zoe was playing the violin on the third floor at that moment.

The night's melody was exceptionally mournful, but she laughed after

hearing Ella's words. "I'm not upset. I'm just practicing the violin. Ella,

don't worry, I won't bind myself in emotions for Mason anymore."

Ella was slightly reassured and hung up the phone.

Zoe practiced the violin for another half-hour, showered, and went to

bed. While applying her skincare, she looked at the newspaper on the

dressing table, seeing her husband embracing another woman's

slender waist.

Zoe did not call Mason to confront him. She did not even make the

the mansion.

When the servant informed her of their arrival, Zoe had just gotten up

Lilith and her mother?"

Zoe wiped her face with a towel.

a while."

The servant was surprised. "Mrs. Zoe, are you really going to see

them?"

She is Mr. Mason's sweetheart! If she is upset, and Mr. Mason isn't

around, I still have to comfort her on his behalf."

The servant went to carry out the instructions, and Zoe carefully chose

another outfit.
