“Ray!”

“Lord Edward.”

Being able to see the prince again made me so happy that I couldn’t hide my smile. The prince’s bright and dazzling smile with his flashy golden hair is really angelic.

The prince smiled and ran towards me.

His long hair sways and strands of his hair surround his neck as he runs slightly. The prince is just lovely as ever today.

“Ray, won’t you call me Eddie right now?”

“But the maids are around. Maybe when it’s just the two of us…”

The prince gently holds my face with his hands, lifting my face up just a little bit towards him. I could feel the sensation of his long fingers and the warm palms of his hands on my cheeks.

“…Eddie.”

“Just like that.”

Losing myself to his inviting gaze, just by saying his pet name he gave back a loving smile. As he smiled, he approached his beautiful face closer to mine.

He’s going to kiss me.

I thought to myself, I closed eyes slowly and he kissed me gently.

“Ray… My darling Rachel. You’re as beautiful as ever today. I love you.”

“I love you too Eddie.”

Being embraced by my kind prince’s love, I feel incredibly happy.

Held within the prince’s embrace, I felt a sense of happiness deep within.

“I wish I could hold you like this forever Ray. I wish I could marry you right this moment… It’s stupid that we have to wait one more year.”

“It can’t be helped. In this country men can’t get married until they’re at least 18, lord Edward can’t break that law.”

“I know, but it’s still so frustrating. I want to quickly make you all mine, not just physically but in name as well. It feels like someone might take you away from me.”

“I’m also worried that someone might come along and take lord Edward away too”

I know that the prince loves me very much. I get it but… The prince is just really lovely. He’s not only beautiful, but his personality is just charming and he’s also the crown prince. On top of that, he has that elegant charm of a noble. And even though he’s 17, he has been able to show his competence in politics and leading others.

Any girl in the world would love to have this man.

And I’m just regular girl that was born in nobility.

The only thing I’m proud of is that I share the same hair color with the prince.

“You don’t have to worry about that. The only one for me is Ray after all.”

He says with an affectionate smile. I couldn’t help but to smile the same way.

“You’re the only one for me too.”

We held each other in each other’s arm as if to confirm our feelings for each other.

“Ray, I heard that a wanderer from another dimension came here. They are a very capable person and will be working in the royal palace starting next month. I will be helping out for a while so it’s possible that the amount of time I can spend with you will be cut a bit short.”

A wanderer from another dimension.

That is, a person that will bring both blessings and wisdom to this country. For such a person to have come over here, it is a joyous moment for the country.

“It would be nice if our country would keep developing.”

“Yeah.”
