Chapter 77
How My Ex Became My Next by Kirk Stanley ( Gilda Lynch )
Chapter 77
Gilda covered her mouth and glanced at Braydon. âNothing. We didnât say anything.â
âI hope . Donât let me hear you talking bad about me,â Vicky warned them.
Braydon, who used to be talkative, stopped talking. âIâm going out to get some fresh air.â
Braydon always became indifferent while facing Vicky.
When Braydon pushed the door open and went out, he saw Jensen standing outside.
The smile on Braydonâs instantly disappeared. He blocked the door and said in a high tone, not welcome here.â
âYou are
Jensen let his assistant hand the fruit basket to Braydon and said, âGive this to her, then
Take it and get out!â Braydon waved his hand and said. âGilly doesnât need this kind of shit.â
âHas she woken up?â
Jensen didnât take Braydon seriously. This kind of man who only had a good appearance was not Gildaâs
type.
But Jacksonâ¦
Jensen sensed a crisis.
âGilda has woken up and is fine. You can leave now.â Vickyâs voice came from behind. She and Braydon blocked the door together perfectly.
âThank you for taking care of her. Jensen left after saying that.
Braydon got angry and shouted at Jensenâs back âWe are willing to take care of Gilly. We donât need you to thank You bastard!â
Vicky pulled Braydon and said, âKeep your voice down. Gilda needs to rest.â
Braydon smiled. âYouâre right.â
They looked at each other and stopped talking awkwardly.
At the dinner.
Helen came to see Gilda.
She handed Gilda a document envelope. âJackson asked me to give this to you.â
Gilda opened it and saw the photos of Madeleine hiring someone.
Chapter 77
gripped the photos harder.
âI thought Jensenâs mistress would only cry and pretend to be weak. I didnât expect her to be vicious.
âFortunately, nothing serious happened this time.â
Helen held Gildaâs hand and felt really scared.
âDonât worry, Aunt Helen. Iâll recover in a few days.â Gilda held Helenâs hand and narrowed her eyes.
Since she laid hands on me, Iâll let her pay for it.â
A few days later, Gilda ran into Jensen and Madeleine at the international flight exit of Allath Airport when she walked out.
Madeleine stroked her belly and leaned on Jensen. She smiled sullenly and said, âMs. Lynch, you narrowly escaped from death this time. Why didnât you stay in the hospital for observation for a few more days?
Madeleine thought, âIt such a good chance but Gilda didnât die. What a pity.â Thinking of this, Madeleine annoyed.
âYouâd better pay more attention to yourself first, murderer,â Gilda said calmly.
The smile on Madeleineâs face froze. She thought, âDid Gilda know it?
I didnât leave any trace. The driver has already been sent to another place..
âItâs impossible for her to know that!â
Suddenly, reporters surrounded them and the microphones almost poked Madeleineâs face.
âMs. Donovan, now the report of you hiring someone to murder other people has become a trending topic. Do you have anything to say about it?â
â
it true â
âWill you be summoned by the police this time? Are you confident?â
Madeleine didnât expect to be involved in a murder just in a few hours on the plane.
Those reporters kept asking Madeleine, and she could only try her best to hide her panic.
Madeleine looked up at Jensen and found that he was staring at her suspiciously.
Jensenâs eyes were cold. âWhat are they talking about?
âJensen, theyâre talking nonsense
Madeleine tried to keep calm. âWhich newspaper are you from? Iâll sue you!â
Chapter 77
A police stopped not far away and two police officers got out of the car. The reporters all stepped aside.
âMs. Donovan, there is a major car accident that requires your cooperation in the investigation. Please
come with us.â
Madeleine was so scared that she looked at Jensen and couldnât help shaking her head. âJensen, believe me. I didnât do it.â
Seeing that Madeleine was about to be taken away, Jensen hurriedly asked, âExcuse me. Is there any misunderstanding about it?â
The police officer said justly. âWe have received the investigation documents of the truth of the accident. Madeleine is indeed related to this car accident. We take her away to verify some details.
âLetâs go, Madeleine,â the police urged.
Madeleine was taken away crying, and Jensen could do nothing but watch.
The reporters took many photos, and then they noticed that the person next to them was Gilda. They rushed forward again.
âMs. Lynch are you fully recovered?â
âDo you think Ms. Donovan wronged?â
