Chapter 76
How My Ex Became My Next by Kirk Stanley ( Gilda Lynch )
Chapter
âHurry up! Iâll and confirm the situation again.
The doctor said that to Jackson.
He glanced at Jensen and shook his head. He thought, âThere are so many things that this man doesnât know. No wonder theyâre divorced.
Jensen glanced at Jackson and thought, âHe even knows such a private thing as the blood type.
Jensen suppressed his jealousy.
âWhatâs your relationship with Gilda?â
âYouâre not qualified to know that,â Jackson said coldly. âYou can leave now.â
âIâll wait for Gilda to wake up.â Jensen became sober a little..
Jackson pressed his eyebrows and said tiredly, âGilda wonât want to see you when she wakes up.â
âIâm her exâhusband, at least. How can I be worse than you, an outsider?â
âIâm glad you know
Thatâs the truth.â
The two of them looked at each other. Jackson was against Jensen directly and didnât cower at all. Jensen yielded. âI just hope Gilda is fine.â
âI got her. Sheâll surely be fine.â Jackson was firm.
Two days later, soon Gilda opened her eyes, she saw Braydon standing aside with his hand in plaster
on his neck.
âOh my. Youâre finally awake!â
Seeing that Gilda was fine, Braydon finally felt relieved.
âBraydon, who saved us?â Gilda sat up slowly. She still felt dizzy even when she just moved a little.
Gilda only remembered that there was someone who carried her out of the car that about to explode regardless of danger.
She felt familiar. That was the first impression.
âIt was Jackson!
Chapter 76
âHeâs Helenâs . Do
you
remember
Gilda thought, âIt was Jackson?â
Gilda hurriedly got up asked, âWhereâs Jackson?â
âHe has left long ago. He said that he had something to deal with in the company, and he asked you to take good care of yourself.â
Braydon described what happened before. âYou donât know how dangerous the situation was at that time. You have a special blood type, and the hospital didnât have that kind of blood. Jackson found a dozen blood donors as if he had been preparing for such a situation. Thatâs the reason why you could get out of danger safely.â
âYou mean Jackson knew my blood type and had already prepared for it?â
âYeah, it should be the case.â
Gilda was surprised by how careful Jackson was. âMaybe Aunt Helen told him that.
âI have to thank him someday.â
âWhy didnât you turn the steering wheel towards your side at that time?â Braydon suddenly asked Gilda seriously.
Under normal circumstances, when facing an oncoming vehicle, the driverâs first reaction was to protect herself and turn the steering wheel to her side to avoid the crash. The person in the front passenger seat would be more seriously injured.
But Gilda didnât want to put Braydon in danger.
Gilda smiled and said, âI was afraid that you would accidentally hurt your face superstar. Then Iâll be in trouble if your fans blame me.â
Braydon was touched. He stepped forward and gently fixed Gildaâs hair which got messy when she was sleeping. âSilly Gilly. Promise me that you wonât do again next time. You just need to protect yourself. Iâm lucky.
âIf anything happens to you, Patrick and Jeffrey will kill me.â
âAlright, I got it.â
Gilda rolled her eyes at Braydon and said, âBesides, donât curse ourselves. Itâd better not happen again.â
Gilda thought of the dump truck that directly aimed at them and surely wanted to kill them. Then her eyes darkened. âThis car accident is too strange. We need to have someone look into it.â
âSome people are already working on it. Weâll get the result in a few days.â
Gilda nodded and felt very tired and sleepy. âBraydon, I want to sleep.â
Chapter 76
Braydon hurriedly let Gilda lie back in the quilt and tucked her in carefully. Then he remembered that Jensen had come to the hospital.
On second thought, he decided to not mention it in case Gilda would be unhappy.
After two days of recuperation, Gilda became energetic again.
Gilda lifted the quilt and wanted to walk around before Braydon came back.
âWhat are you doing?!â
Braydon shouted before he arrived.
Gilda curled her lips and went back to the quilt obediently. âHumph! Iâm so tired of lying on the bed!â
Braydon motioned to the servant beside him to settle the dishes brought from a famous restaurant. âTwo days more, and then Iâll let you get off the bed.â
âBraydon, youâre so careful with me. But why are you so indifferent to Vicky?â
Gilda looked curious.
âWhatâs wrong
with me?â Vickyâs voice suddenly sounded, and she was standing at the door.
