At the end of the day, he was nothing more than an ordinary man. The rumors stated that he was a

cold-blooded father even after Shin's death.

But in truth, no one knew that he had spent a lot of time mourning in Shin's study, usually for the

recognize them as Sebastian's kids.”

like taking photos. Besides, I wasn't in Avenport often.”

“What am I going to do? Your grandpa is asking about the three children.”

“What did you tell him?"

"What else can I say? Given the perilous condition your family is in, it's not even safe for my brother,

let alone the children. I'm not confident the old man can protect them,” Sabrina answered in

exasperation.

Devin didn't respond.

Sabrina was right. Although Sebastian himself had done many things, Charles, Connor, and Candice

were out for his blood.

Furthermore, they had managed to deal him serious injury every time.

The facts showed that Jonathan was unable to protect him.

If an adult could fall into such a situation, what more three defenseless children.

Devin sighed. “Fine. Just don't say anything. I'll continue to monitor his actions.”

“Mmm-hmm. Just to cover my tracks, I had to mention Calvin just now. Hence, he may start looking

for him. Since Calvin is Sebastian's subordinate, I'm not sure what other secrets he holds. Hence, if

he is found, I hope you can let me see him first,” Sabrina reminded him about Calvin.

Devin nodded in acknowledgment.

With that, he left Oceanic Estate.

After Devin's departure, Sabrina was about to check on Sebastian before a vibrant-looking girl

approach her.

“Ms. Hayes, what were you discussing with Devin just now? Both of you seem happy talking about

it.”

Happy?

The warmth in Sabrina’s face disappeared at once as she glared at Kira. “Have you been following

us?"

“No, I haven't,” Kira denied with an innocent expression.

“I just happened to pass by and was just asking casually. Ms. Hayes, please don't misunderstand.”

“What have I misunderstood?”

Sabrina sneered, “This is where Old Mr. Jadeson stays and isn't the main wing. If I recall correctly, no

one is supposed to be here without his permission. Am I right?”

Kira's face was ashen while her eyes revealed a bout of panic.

It was obvious to Sabrina but she didn't care.

“It doesn’t matter. You don't have to hide the next time you watch us. After all, I fancy Devin and will

seize all the opportunities to get close to him. Since you like to do it so much, I'll call you over the

next time he comes.”

"You..."

Finally, the provocation caused Kira to lose her temper.

"H-how can you be so shameless? You're a single lady of a prominent family. How can you behave

so inappropriately? Does your brother know this side of you?”

Sabrina folded her arms as she continued taunting, “Of course he does. He is even aware that I went

to the barracks to sleep with Devin.”

Just as she spoke, Kira's whole body began to tremble while her gentle eyes were filled with

murderous intent.

"Sabrina Hayes, you're disgusting!”

“Me, disgusting?” Sabrina stepped forward. “Who's the one that's truly disgusting here? At the very

least, I'm honest about the fact that I like him. What about you?”

Kira was speechless.

"Have you told him about what you're hiding inside here? Just because I threaded my hand around

his arm, you cut my entire hand with sand. Doesn't that mean you'll kill me if I sleep with him?”

Sabrina was as frightening as a demon as she jabbed her finger at Kira's chest.
