Chapter 779
Meet My Brothers
Panic flashed across Miaâs face as her eyes darted toward the door, only to find Caleb standing there
with a nosy expression. âSorry for barging in,â he spoke up.
Mia figured that Caleb must have misunderstood the situation.
Timothyâs demeanor turned cold. âGet lost!â
âFine then!â
Caleb swiftly closed the door behind him and explained himself outside the restroom,â Please donât get
the wrong idea, guys. I donât have any weird fetishes!
âI heard a noise from the restroom and thought Tim might have fallen, so I pushed the door to check.
Oh, wait, I just remembered that I left my clothes drying outside at home. Iâll head back now.â
With that, Caleb left quickly. He certainly didnât want to be the target of Timothyâs piercing
stare.
The restroom remained uncomfortably silent, as a blend of awkwardness and
embarrassment hung in the air.
Mia couldnât bear it any longer. She pushed past Timothy and hurried out of the restroom, feeling
deeply embarrassed by what had just happened.
Not long after, the sound of running water could be heard coming from the restroom.
A few moments later, Timothy emerged, leaning against the door, his movements slow and
deliberate.
Mia watched him closely, wondering why he was suddenly able to walk steadily.
But before she could finish her thought, Timothyâs body swayed for a moment before suddenly
collapsing to the ground.
âBe careful!â
Mia dashed over quickly, attempting to help him up, but she underestimated Timothyâs weight.
She found herself unable to hold him, and they both tumbled to the ground together.
As the force of the impact sank in, Mia braced herself for the expected jolt, realizing there
was no carpet to soften their fall.
But as she shut her eyes, she noticed the sensation wasnât as painful as anticipated. Instead, the floor
felt strangely soft.
As Timothyâs muffled groans reached her ears, she opened her eyes to find him lying right beside her,
his cleanâshaven jaw and handsome features just inches away.
He had one hand shielding her head and the other holding her waist.
Rather than falling to the floor, Mia found herself landing on Timothy as he willingly acted as her human
cushion.
Feeling concerned, Mia sat up and asked, âAre you okay?â
Timothy clenched his teeth and responded, âHow do you think it feels to be pinned down like this?â
Mia hastily stood up, her words tinged with guilt. âI was rushing to grab onto you earlier, but I didnât
realize you were so heavy.â
âSo now itâs my fault? It would have been better to fall alone than be someoneâs cushion.â
Timothyâs comment stirred a sense of regret in Mia.
She quickly volunteered to go ask for help. âIâll go get help.â
âDonât bother!â
âYouâre already in this state; why pretend to be tough?â
Timothy grabbed Miaâs wrist firmly, his gaze penetrating. âHelp me up,â he insisted.
âAre you sure? I might not have the strength to lift you. What if something like earlier happens again? I
donât want to accidentally injure you!â
Timothyâs lips twitched slightly. âMy wellâbeing is crucial for Ginger right now. Youâd better ensure Iâm
safe.â
Reluctantly, Mia agreed to help him up. The process was draining; his limbs felt as heavy as a bag of
cement.
Nonetheless, Timothy cooperated with Miaâs efforts and managed to stand up. As he stole a glance at
her, a faint smile graced his lips.
Mia was so engrossed in helping Timothy onto the hospital bed that she failed to notice his change in
expression.
After much effort, she finally reached the bedside, letting out a sigh of relief. âThere we go.â
Miaâs feet throbbed painfully, and as she was about to step back, she accidentally stomped on
Timothyâs foot.
This caused another loss of balance.
As they fell once more, Mia landed directly onto the hospital bed, with Timothyâs weight pressing
heavily on top of her, rendering her unable to move an inch!
Their bodies were pressed against each other, and she could feel Timothyâs intense body
heat.
Miaâs heart raced uncontrollably as she frantically tried to push him off, only to end up touching his
muscular chest.
Timothyâs voice took on a husky tone. âWhat are you
