Wen Xinya’s pupils constricted and she pretended to be angry. “I’ve let him off easy this time. If this happens again, I’ll just break his arm. Who is he to touch my hand as and when he pleases? I’ll make him pay the price for doing that.”

As soon as Wen Xinya finished speaking, she continued to whine to Si Yiyan coquettishly. “Si Yiyan, my wrist hurts!”

She then touched her wrist pitifully while he held onto it.

“Don’t move, I’ll take a look at it.” Si Yiyan pressed her wrist gently while checking her injury.

Wen Xinya retracted her hand and stared at Si Yiyan with tears in her eyes. “It hurts, be gentler!”

There was a large bruise on her wrist, on which she felt a dull ache that was not exactly unbearable. It was merely because her skin was too tender and fragile, so much that it often bruised easily.
