Power Play

The Twin Dragons Series: Requiem City

Darshan and I followed Xythor up a spiral staircase I’d never noticed before. We exited through an open hatch at the top, finding ourselves on a rooftop helipad. I squinted and blinked in the wind. It was like we were on the peak of a mountain.

Xythor shouted something, but I could barely hear him over the wind. He pointed to the far end of the roof. My eyes followed his finger to… Oh my god…

Two enormous dragons.

~Loch and Hael!~

I went to run to them, but Xythor stopped me with a steady arm.

“They’re asleep,” he shouted, inches from my ear so I could hear. “Your potion didn’t wear off. It intensified. You and Zayda must have missed an ingredient or something. They’re completely out of it.”

“Xythor, who are you?” I demanded.

“Another time,” he said mysteriously. “Listen. Your mates could die. It’s unlikely but not improbable. You need to tend to them.”

“How the hell am I supposed to tend to a dragon? I know nothing about them.”

“Just follow your instincts,” Xythor said. “I’ll take Darshan. You stay here. You’ll be safe. I promise.”

Safe? With the sleeping dragons?

“I highly doubt that,” I said.

Maybe I was wrong. Maybe Xythor wasn’t a dragon after all. Maybe he was an escaped mental patient.

“The potion will take about twenty-four hours to wear off. Even if the Twin Leading Breeds wake up, they’ll be very docile. They’ll do anything you say.”

Anything I say? For twenty-four hours? Hmm. Turning the tables on my mates was a tempting opportunity. With their undivided attention, I could finally teach them the lesson in respect they so desperately needed. And wasn’t that ultimately what I wanted?

I stared at their enormous sleeping bodies. Their bellies rose and fell so slowly it was almost imperceptible. They did seem harmless.

Maybe I could babysit them. It was just twenty-four hours.

Xythor ushered Darshan down the stairs as I approached my sleeping mates.

Under all their horns and spikes and scales and wings, they looked almost peaceful.

But were they safe?

I touched the mint bracelet around my wrist…

Only one way to know for sure.

Loch’s and Hael’s massive dragon bodies provided shelter from the whipping winds. Standing in their shadows, I watched their huge, scaled bellies rise and fall, feeling their hot dragon breath, hearing their rumbling snores. It would have been sort of cute if I didn’t know them better.

I spun the mint bracelet around my wrist a few times. I needed to know what was going on with them. Were they dying, or just dead to the world?

I unclasped the bracelet and placed it on the cement near my feet. I felt my mind unfurl as the connection between our souls opened again. My heart became one with theirs.

Within seconds, I knew they were safe. They were not resting from pain; it was sheer exhaustion. I thought about all they’d been through. The imprisonment, torture, and abuse.

Their bodies needed time to recover.

Of course, I wasn’t happy about how Loch and Hael repaid me for rescuing them. Kidnapping Darshan was inexcusable. They’d threatened my best friend’s life to bring me here. I should have been with him right now, not on the roof of Req Enterprise.

My brand prickled, and I watched as Loch’s large eye blinked open. The yellow slit became an orb, its pupil wreathed in an emerald iris. I took a nervous step back, praying that the potion hadn’t worn off early.

Loch stretched his long dinosaur neck and yawned, exposing his mouth full of sword-sized teeth. I held my breath as I awaited one of his smart-ass comments to slither into my mind, but to my surprise, nothing came.

Loch caught my eye as he rested his head back down on his razor-sharp talons. He remained still, gazing at me like a dragon in a painting.

“How are you feeling?” I asked awkwardly.

“~Awake~,” he said in a groggy voice. “~What happened?~”

“~Mouse~? ~Is that you?~” Hael asked. “~Where are we?~” He opened his eyes too. They both stared at me, innocent and intently, like babies waking up from a nap. I’d never seen this side of them before.

“I helped you escape from the school,” I told them. “You thanked me by kidnapping my friend Darshan and luring me here to Req Enterprise. Remember?”

“~We missed you, Madeline~,” Loch purred. “~We weren’t going to hurt him.~”

They’d missed me? I didn’t believe what I was hearing. The potion really had made them docile.

“~We were waiting for you~,” Hael said in a sweet voice. “~We must’ve fallen asleep. We’re sorry.~”

~Sorry?~ Who was I talking to? I nearly pinched myself, but I knew this wasn’t a dream. I was finally getting a little bit of the tenderness I’d always wanted from Loch and Hael.

“~Come here, Madeline~,” Loch said. “~Come lie with us.~”

“~Please, mouse~,” Hael urged. “~We’ve longed for your touch.~”

The affection in their voices made my brand heat up. These were the mates I’d been dreaming of. I knew they were all drugged up, but maybe if I stopped the games and showed them the TLC they were craving, it could be the start of a change for the future.

Or maybe I was just horny. As much as I hated to admit it, it had been a long time for me too. My mind couldn’t help but drift back to the mind-blowing orgasms they’d given me.

Fuck it.

“I’m not lying anywhere until you shift back to human form,” I told them firmly. “I don’t want one of you to roll over and squash me.”

“~We’d never squash you, mouse~,” Hael said in horror.

I watched them become black mist, feeling their happy excitement in my brand. Their perfect naked bodies emerged moments later, their legs as wobbly as newborns.

“Better,” I said softly as I took each by a hand. “Come with me.”

The Dobrzyckas were pliant as I led them down the stairs and through the penthouse to Loch’s bedroom. They stumbled as they collapsed on the massive bed.

Their eyes looked sleepy, but I knew they were anything but. I could already see their twin towers rising in front of me. I tried to resist the overpowering urge to climb them…

Immediately, at least.

“Before we start, I want to make something clear,” I told them, feeling like a strict schoolteacher. “If you want me, you need to respect me, in and outside of the bedroom. I’m just as capable of calling the shots as you. And I’m going to make you understand once and for all.”

“Are you going to punish us?” Loch asked eagerly.

“No,” I said, stepping out of my clothes. “I believe in positive reinforcement.”

I crawled onto the bed, moving toward them on all fours, kissing my way from their toes and up their long legs, teasing my way to their aching middles.

Hael’s hand stroked my hair. I gently swatted it away.

“I’m in charge, remember?” I said, rubbing and kissing his lower thigh. He smirked in deference, resting his hands behind his head as he watched me work.

I eyed his formidable manhood, practically trembling with anticipation. I clenched it in my right hand, slowly stroking up and down, giving Loch equal attention with my left. I could already hear the brothers’ soft moans.

They hadn’t seen anything yet.

When I was sure they were at full mast, I shimmied up Hael’s body, positioning my moistening sex above his waist. I kissed every inch of his rippling chest, taking my time, slinking my lower half closer to his waiting tip.

“Put it in,” I finally commanded in a sharp whisper.

A cry escaped my lips as Hael filled me. It was like a key in a lock. He started to thrust, but I pressed my hands to his chest, motioning for him to stop.

“This is my rodeo, cowboy.”

I bounced up and down on my knees, slow at first, then faster, fucking Hael as deep as he’d go, staring lustily at his waiting brother. For a fleeting moment, I vainly wished my pussy could handle both their shafts at once. I could think of worse ways to die.

I tried to stroke off Loch while I rode Hael, but as I neared climax, my fingers all turned to thumbs. Fortunately for Loch, my mount suddenly bucked, raising me into the air like a wild bronco as he fired a hot blast of cum between my legs.

“Not bad, quick draw.”

I climbed off his softening cock and immediately onto Loch’s.

“Your turn,” I told him, tying my hair back. “But this time, you’re doing the work.”

Loch grinned, thrusting into me like a hydraulic piston. With one hand, I dug my nails into his chest, and with the other, I grabbed Hael, directing him to ravage my neck and breasts.

My brain swam with pleasure… I wasn’t sure where I ended and they began.

Edging closer to climax again, I shrieked until my lungs depleted. The combination of Hael’s adoring licks and kisses and Loch’s steady thrusting made me come like a fucking waterfall. I soaked Loch with my juices as he simultaneously shot into me.

My orgasm decimated my mind like a tornado. I envisioned tumbleweeds rolling across the empty expanse.

Dazed, I pulled Hael toward me with limp hands, savoring one more long kiss. I climbed off Loch and kissed him too, curling between them like a kitten. We were all heaving like we’d run a marathon.

Hael rubbed my back. I watched Loch close his eyes and start to drift off.

“Hey! Who said you could go to sleep?” I demanded, shaking him.

Loch’s eyes snapped open. He looked so confused; it was cute.

“That was only our first class,” I said, pushing his head down to taste my greedy clit. I pulled Hael toward me, hungry for more of his kisses.

“It’s going to take more than one lesson to teach you two some respect.”

***

I rested between Loch and Hael, immobile from my orgasms. I’d lost count after a while, but there were certainly more than enough to go around. Turned out Loch and Hael weren’t such bad students after all.

I stared up at the ceiling, wishing it could always be like this between us. Tonight, the Dobrzyckas had been the perfect mates, kind and considerate to my every need. Too bad they had to be on drugs for me to see this side of them, but at least I knew it existed.

Maybe the last few hours had been a step toward a future of mutual respect and equality… Or maybe not. All I knew was I had to get out of here before the potion wore off and Loch and Hael, more than likely, transformed back to their normal asshole selves.

I crawled over my mates and quietly put on my clothes as they watched me through slitted eyes.

“Where are you going, mouse?” Hael asked.

“Anywhere but here,” I said with a sad smile. “Thanks for a memorable evening. I hope I taught you guys something.”

“You can’t leave,” Loch protested, sitting up in bed.

I was already halfway out the door.

“Zayda and I will mix another potion,” I jokingly promised. “We’ll do this again real soon!”

“Mouse!” Louch shouted, a familiar edge to his voice.

Oh no. Had the potion worn off already? It hadn’t been twenty-four hours yet, had it?

I quickened my pace, but as I neared the front door, a cloud of black mist zipped past me, transforming into Loch and Hael, who blocked my path with hard stares and crossed arms.

I froze, taking a step backward. They moved toward me.

“I dare you to run,” Hael said, a hungry look in his eyes. “As fast as you can.”
